The room was mostly clean and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately that’s about where the good things ended. We didn’t realize everything was no contact, as any messages that were sent by the management were sent into my email spam inbox and I got very lucky that I happened to check that on our way in. But then every time I would send them a message they never answered.
The tv had no remote so it was unusable. We messaged about this and no one responded so we pretty much had nothing to do in our room since the hotel doesn’t have any other amenities. The room didn’t have tissues, no phone, and no clock. Granted none of this is listed on the listing, it’s just things we expected would be a given at any hotel.
The light in the bathroom obviously had bad wiring, as we would have to flip it handfuls of times before it would come on. The shower head was ridiculously low and leaked. I don’t think the smoke detectors worked because they never once blinked. The bathroom door was misaligned to the point that it wouldn’t even close so that was fun with multiple people. The room was obviously a hastily completed project to improve an old motel. The paint job was messy, with paint splatters all over the flooring.
If you just need a quick place to sleep with nothing else, it might be for you. But it was definitely not for us.
