nice people...clean rooms stayed there for past 10 years..love the breakfast and location

Hotel was 10 min away from Cedar Point. Nice and clean, good breakfast. Since I paid directly to Orbitz they did not require a credit card. Only one little complaint... The description (and the sign on the wall by the door) stated that this was a suite. I was not ! It was one a (large) room with a 5 foot separation from the refrigerator. Nevertheless, Not enough of a reason not to return.

Room huge, upgraded with a hot tub. Work room in basement, small, crowded and a musty smell.

The room was large and very clean, staff was friendly

wheb we arrived, we were pretty certain we had the wrong address, as the building is covered in Trump banners and signs. When I asked the front desk about it, I was told that the owner is allowing the Trump campaign to work out of the basement of the hotel. Since "he really loves Trump", he has allowed the hotel to be covered in his name. This strange situation aside, the room was musty, our window was covered in a weird mold and had a large crack in it, and corners had not been vacuumed in years. The breakfast is free, which is fantastic! But, the quality is what you would expect. The pool is actually a therapy pool. It was described as a "hot tub" on the site, but is cold and larger. We were told that we could also access the neighboring Comfort Inn's pool since they are owned by the same person. Overall, glad it was close to Cedar Point. But, wouldn't go back.

The Trump/Pence campaign headquarters were on level B (same level as the cold spa tub & exercise room). It was a but of an odd surprise, but everything else was solid. The evening auditor was awesome, & I'd stay there again (as long as the massive Trump/Pence banners on the outside are removed) lol It was close to Cedar Point & had a lot of meal options nearby should you have the need.

The people that overrun the breakfast buffet each morning are gross in their behavior and personal habits. Sneezing at the food, blowing their nose near the food. Cutting line. The staff did the best they could but the people are crowded into a much too small space. Stay away!

The room was very refreshing after a long day at Cedar Point.

Great location with good choice of eateries and shopping. Close to Cedar Point!

This hotel is nice. However, our room still had candy wrappers and gummy bears on the floor when we got there. When we had our room cleaned the next day they were still there, the trashes didn't get emptied, and the microwave had a solid layer of dust. The beds were clean, not super comfortable, but clean. I was pretty disappointed in the fact there was only a therapy pool. They did offer us to use the pool in the hotel next door, which is nice of them, but not super convienent. Overall, I would say it is a bit overpriced for an average stay.

Hotel was in a good location and room was ok but the Chlorine smell was overpowering in the lobby and elevator.

On business in Sandusky. Working long hours, so I did not use the hotel amenities to any great degree. Acceptable breakfast, nice room with a comfortable bed.

Quick layover on our way to Cedar Point. Room was clean and comfortable and the staff was lovely.

I've stayed at a variety of places near Kalahari- this was the best deal!

Stated here for cedar point. Very safe and inviting hotel, would stay again!

Our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast bar was well equipped with tasty selections. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

This is by far the best value in a hotel within a 5 mile radius. I looked at the others...more expensive and less expensive and NOTHING had more stuff at a better price. We wanted to stay at the Lake for a few days and were very comfortable when we retreated to the hotel after sightseeing each day. You won't go wrong UNLESS you are determined to use the pool. There isn't one..it's next door. Instead they have a therapy pool..small but nice on the lower floor.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms were clean. white sheets, TV with more than 20 channels. Breakfast was good and constantly re-filled. There's a smaller pool in the basement and guests were allowed to use the indoor and outdoor pool next door (think comfort inn). Good value for money. Excellent location - just off the highway closer to attractions - about 25 mins from port clinton.

We were quite pleased with this hotel. The rooms were clean, staff was nice and helpful and breakfast was good.

great place nice would stay again hotel was in great location 5min from cedar park.
