The property was clean and staff was friendly. I feel like someone needs to keep an eye out on the pool/spa. There was a group of 13-14 year old boys jumping on people and being loud and inappropriate with no parents in sight.
The front desk girl, Alexis, was so kind and helpful! The pool is a therapy pool so the water is warm and perfect to lounge in while my toddlers splashed around. They upgraded our room upon check in to a double-room (4queen beds), which was an awesome surprise! Overall, great stay, we’ll be back again :)
Staff was friendly
Everything was fine
Very clean
When we arrived in the evening the front desk staff (a woman and young man) were very friendly and even jovial. The room we stayed in was quite spacious and it was clean (I was concerned about cleanliness since all of the hotels near Cedar Point get low reviews on cleanliness). After a day of dying in the heat at Cedar point, it was very nice to enter a nice cold room, also. Breakfast the next morning was simple and easy. We brought our food back to the room to heat and eat. My daughter was thrilled with a new continental breakfast item she’d never had or seen before (a jimmy dean sausage pancake-dog on a stick) which she claimed was “so good” (I took her work for it). When we left, we dropped our room keys off to be recycled at the front desk. There was a different attendant and she was just as friendly as the one the night before. We usually tent camp everywhere. But now my husband and I have gotten old and rickety, it gets hard to sleep on the ground. So far, I’ve stayed at four different best westerns around Michigan in the last year and a half. I have not been disappointed.
location is good but it is not clean ,and dirty carpets also rooms they did not clean probably and breakfast no good
Nicest part about this place is the lobby. It’s kind of gross, and the don’t change out your sheets for you like every other hotel. The shower head leaked and got the whole bathroom floor wet. Overall just not that great of a place
Very high ceiling in our room. This was nice because I am traveling with two girls who are claustrophobic at times. The facility is close to shopping and food. Super clean and updated.
Nice hotel but a strong smell that smells moldy especially in the pool area. Otherwise great staff.
The problem we had was with the height of the beds. My wife could not get into bed without a step stool and 2 nights she didn't have the strength to make the step up. If the bed was at a normal height, she could have sat on the bed. If all Best Westerns have beds this high, we will never book another room there.
Overall clean and quiet. No view from the room other than a roof. Elevator very noisy...we could hear it in our room throughout the night.
Enjoyed our brief stay here. Very spacious room with a huge bathroom! Would have liked a healthier and filling breakfast rather than the Grab and go bag offered tho.
The front desk people were very friendly ,and courteous. The place was very clean and well maintained.
Staff was friendly and helpful! The bed was very comfortable! Everything in the room was clean and comfortable except the shower floor. It probably was clean but didn’t look like it. The ceramic tile was in desperate need of a professional cleaning. It looked so bad that we went to the store and purchased shower shoes.
