The Inn on Fulton St. It is a great place to stay if you're looking to spend time exploring downtown Sandusky or going over to the islands via the Jet Express. Both are walking distance, and the street parking is actually very good. For our stay, we had the bulk of two adult volleyball teams ... 10 of us (all of us 30 and a third 50) heading over to South Bass Island for their annual PIB Battle at the Bay. We were too late to arrange accommodations on the island, and this turned out to be a great plan B. We had two adjoining suites (6 and 7), the place was very clean and bright with pretty comfortable beds. We used all bed accommodations. And there was plenty of toilet paper. It had most everything we needed. The only minor issues we bumped into were these: - the doors adjoining the rooms needed door stops (we used spare flip flops to keep the doors open). - the pullout bed we checked had sheets, but the other did not (we found out too late to do much about it). Our opinion would be to leave the sofa bed sheets folded somewhere instead of on bed.- there did not appear to be a text or email way to get the linens issue resolved, only phone to call with voice prompts. We were often in bad places to call when we remembered. - stair hand railing to the next level is a little loose.- the place was a little pricey for a city that is not a hot destination spot.Overall though, it was a great place to stay and have as a central point to go on local adventures.
