John the manager and the staff did excellent. Excellent value for the price, the bath room was small, they did do some updates in which it's very nice. They have an indoor heated pool, free coffee and juice at the motel lobby, free newspaper everyday, Saturday and Sunday combined.
Very nice clean motel. Bathrooms are small. Beds were very comfortable. Great value for the price. Upgrades have been done. Pool had been repainted recently but the paint is flaking off. Enjoyed sitting on the second floor common balcony watching the sunset. They have a few rooms in the building that the pool is in but most of the rooms are located across the parking lot from that building. We were glad we had lawn chairs with us.
Its good enough for an overnight stay but no longer. Staff was curious and attentive. Needs alot of updating. Quiet area. Restaurants within walking distance. Harley Davidson store next door. Heavy traffic during the morning rush hour, quiets down throughout the day.
I would like to say I’m genuinely happy about my stay with Rodeway Inn north. The manager is the best hotel manager I’ve ever met. He is honest, friendly and eager to please. I had a small issue arrive and he was quick to resolve the issue for us. He’s a man of his word and honest. Also, the hotel room we stayed in was very clean and very comfy! I must add that this hotel went above and beyond my expectations and it’s a 7minute drive to Cedar Point. The price point was affordable, I felt safe, I love that there’s a coffee maker in the room with coffee to go along with it, there’s a heated indoor swimming pool, fast WiFi, they provide shampoo and bars of soap, and I must make mention that I have seen tons of people say that there isn’t hot enough water to shower but that couldn’t be farther from the truth as you will scorch your skin off with the hot water they have! Trust me, you definitely want to use a combination of hot and cold water. I am overall satisfied with my stay at Rodeway Inn North and I will be staying with them again in the near future. I highly recommend!
We had booked a room with 2 double beds & we were pleasantly surprised that we were in a suite with an upper level with additional bedding. Worked out great because we were traveling with another couple & we have a child, they did not. The "loft' gave them some privacy & their own area. The indoor pool was a plus with late hours that it was open for those checking in or coming back from a long day at Cedar Point. What really exceeded our expectations is that my son left his ds3 nintendo device in the room & we did not realize it until after we checked out & were heading home after Halloweekend. My son has ADHD & frequently loses & forget things. As we were heading back to the hotel, I had little hope that the electronic game would be returned to us. I figured the housekeeper may have found it & kept it or the next guest in that room found it. When I arrived at the hotel the manger/owner John Sandhu was at the front desk-he immediately got my son's ds3 out of the safe! He told me he strips every room himself & if any valuables are left he puts them in his safe. He even had someone leave $6000 & they returned expecting the money to be gone, but he had it in his safe. You don't find this honesty very often these days. John Sandhu takes pride in his property & positively representing the Choice Hotels franchise
it was an ok hotel for our stay....no problems room was clean....close to the park. A popular hotel for its low price no frills. I would stay here again. Close to attractions and restaurants...easy access to everything.
Someone was hired to take excellent pictures of this place. We didn’t even stay it was so poor. Our room was down a small dark, unlit hall and none of the room lights worked. There were stains on the seating chairs, dead bugs on the floor and the blankets looked as if they were purchased from a second hand store and not washed. The pictures in the web do not represent the actual rooms.
Took our grandson and a friend to Cedar Point. Selected a mid priced motel near the park. Picture looked nice.....it wasn't! Very, very small room. Two Power strips with cords everywhere. Extremely outdated rooms. In all fairness the tiny bathroom was clean. Swimming pool, advertised as heated....wasn't! We go to Cedar Point every summer...no we won't stay there again and we don't reccomend it to anyone.
As a last minute booking close to Cedar Point the Roadway Inn exceeded what I expected at the price point of less than $100. The owner/ manager was very nice. The bed was comfy, the linens were clean and the bathroom had been updated. It’s easy to see the upgrade work in progress. If you’re looking for somewhere to sleep after a long day at the park, this is it! But if you’re looking for more luxurious amenities, you can go to one of the many luxury resorts surrounding the area. The inn is basic and no frills, within a few miles of Target, Walmart, and Cedar Point all for under $100 per night.
Decent place to sleep after a long day at Cedar Point. Clean room and bed comfortable with extra pillows. Front desk clerk friendly and helpful. Easy to find and good fairly close by. Was quiet and felt safe. No breakfast, but coffee, tea and juice in lobby.
