This hotel was okay. Nothing over the top. The all you can eat buffet do not have much variety. I am a vegan so I found it difficult to eat anything beside fruits and rice. Rice is to heavy for me in the morning. I asked for grits I received oatmeal that was cooked right. They tried... I guess. The staffs weren’t to friendly. Our key cards stop working a couple of times. That got very annoying after we had to get three new cards back to back.
The all you can eat buffet do not have much choices. I am a vegan so there wasn’t much I could have eat beside fruits and rice. Rice is too heavy for me for breakfast. The stafffs were okay. They didn’t go above and beyond. They weren’t too friendly or enthusiastic about anything. They weren’t warm or welcoming at all. That was okay with us we interacted with them as little as possible. We did have issues with our keys. They stop working and we were stuck down stairs a couple of times. Overall this hotel is okay. I expected more since I use Wyndham hotels to travel a lot. This hotel was just okay.
Great Breakfast. Friendly Staff. Good Security. Clean Rooms. Walls are a bit thin.
Loved my hotel stay. My family and I were very pleased with the hotel itself, but also the location. The restaurant was great too.
Staff was friendly. Most spoke English. One of the receptionist told me about some places to visit that I would not have come across on my own. I thank her for that. My room was on the 9th floor overlooking Sabana Metropolitan Park and the mountain town of Escazú. Request that side of the hotel. Lighting storms were spectacular. The hotel was three blocks from getting onto Highway 27( toll road to the Pacific Playas). Driving in San Jose is difficult. Don’t rent a manual transmission unless you drive one at home. Also, don’t go by the Weather Channel. The website would post rain most days . It was wrong about 75% of the time. My visit was awesome!
We chose this hotel because it was one of the hotels where the Pacuare river rafting companies did pick ups from. What a delightful surprise. The staff were wonderfully accommodating, the happy hour and dinner prices were very fair and offered good selections. Room and beds were very comfortable. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
Nice hotel. Area not the greatest. Need to take a taxi to restaurants and shopping.
Very disappointed at the end the hotel refused to take us to the airport as scheduled before we need to pay with her own money a private taxi never again
Good location but in one way street so make sure you won't miss it then you have to make a big Turn around.. room nice but big different between standard and suite..
Great Location, Fabulous Buffett Breakfast, Great Happy Hour.
My stay was amazing, and the staff made the difference. They are warm , friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is excellent. Amazing salmon dish and homemade soups, as well as breakfast which is free by the way.
My wife and I stayed for one night, but it was surprisingly good. Everybody gave his/her best to provide the best customer service. Our room was very comfortable and the hotel was very conveniently located. The breakfast offered by the hotel was very fresh and with great variety of choices.
Liked the hotel. Provided everything we needed. Good location to land in and explore downtown. Next to a park which was nice to walk to and a british pub.
great hotel, great breakfast and excellent location.
This hotel had no amenities. It is located under two miles from downtown, but the walk is littered with bad areas, and I wouldn't recommend it at night at all. When I checked in to this hotel I was initially placed very near the elevator. As a very light sleeper, I asked to be moved, and was moved to an even nosier location. Traffic sounds ensued all night and the second night an event downstairs blasted into my room. The room was not stocked with extra towels and didn't have bathmats or wash cloths. No refrigerators, vending, or ice machines. The one positive piece is that the staff was very friendly and helpful and most spoke excellent English. However, did not make up for the poor experience I had here.
In a good location. Large clean rooms and helpful English speaking staff.
Was locked out of our room one night and no one could get the door to open. We were placed in another room for the night (without any of our bags, clothes toothbrushes etc) It wasn't until we reached out to the hotel that they decided to refund our money. I feel like that should have been a first resort.
