Amazing location

Excellent luxury hotel in a great location. Thoroughly enjoyed our views of the Bay from the terrace. The terrace fire pits were enjoyable. The rooms were very convenient and the kitchen was helpful. Staying in Ghirardelli square was ideal to access all nearby attractions such as Aquatic Park, Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf, etc. The staff were friendly. Highly recommend.

The best hotel! Nice historic hotel by the ocean. Check-in was so welcoming and easy, friendly stuff, clean room, excellent view and fantastic chocolate!!

Very nice, modern and clean hotel with beautiful direct views to the golden bridge and the sea. It is not the right location to do a lot of things because it is around 10 min from the night life of SF, but the location is beautiful and easy to get anywhere

Rooms were fitted with every imaginable amenity. The beach was a block away along with many other attractions.

We have stayed here several times. Each and every time being a new, exciting, relaxing, truly enjoyable, and overall great experience. One of the best qualities is the spaciousness. We recently hosted our daughter and 2 of her friends. We comfortably fit all SEVEN of us without ever stepping on toes. Staff is amazing, and the location is impossible to beat. FGS is central to almost all San Fran's centers of interest, touristy and not, and with the exception of not being close to BART locations, transportation is not an issue (private car is available). Dining options, on both ends of the yumminess spectrum, are frequently a short walk or up to a 10 minute cab ride away. In sum...Dude...it's wicked awesome.

I planned a weekend getaway for my family of four. I searched the internet for an upscale Hotel close to Piers. I ran across an offer from online add that featured a weekend getaway deal. I purchased the offer right away out of convenience.i was worried that the amenities of the hotel would not delight my family as other hotels have done below grand a night accommodations. Feeling insecure about my rash bookings I called the Hotel and explained my concerns . My concerns were heard and put at ease as the concierge explained that my reservations are for the other Hotel known as the G-Square. I got their on a Friday evening a little confused where the entrance was. I called the conceirge for assistance for the best way to the Hotel. I was professionally guide to the Front of Hotel. Long story short- the place is magnificent. Close to piers, house car pick up and drop within two miles of Hotel. Bay views even from our city view room. The Terrance views alone are worth the trip. The Hotel staff are friendly and professional. I will make this a yearly must. I am motivated by the prospect of purchasing residency at the G Square. My family loved the amenities and local activities in and around the square. I must warn you about eating all that chocolate. Enjoy. Trent H. From Long Beach , CA.

Heritage Place at Ghirardelli Square is an amazing property, unlike any other we've ever stayed. From the perfect location at the heart of what's probably the cleanest and nicest area in S.F., to the free "house car" service, the entire experience was unforgettable. Bryan, Bradley, Gio, and the rest of the staff attended to our every need and special request. The room was immaculate, with a huge, private outdoor patio overlooking the square. The rooms have high-end A/V systems & TV's, & in-ceiling speakers throughout. We enjoyed listening to music on satellite TV while getting ready each morning. The full kitchen also came in handy for cooking some fresh Salmon we picked-up along the pier. We really couldn't come up with a single thing we didn't like. And, by booking through Orb., we were able to get a great deal on the room (a good thing since the hotel said the rooms are renting for $3000/night during the America's Cup later this year). We would highly recommend this property to anyone and intended to stay again as soon as possible. One piece of advice... Skip the "private luxury town car" airport pickup service offered by Orb. It's through 'that blue shuttle company', and they are a pain to work with. They ended up sending a blue shuttle van to pick us up instead of a towncar. The cab we took back to the airport was much cleaner, nicer, cheaper, and the driver was much more friendly and informative. Now get out there and enjoy San Francisco!

Our family of 4 stayed 5 nights at this beautiful hotel for our annual summer vacation. We loved our 2 bedroom accommodations. Everything was so 1st class and the beds were extra comfortable. After walking all day, it was a joy to sink into the cozy sheets and pillows. Although we had a city view, we were steps away from the Mustard lounge on the 2nd floor. What a great place to have a drink and watch the world go by below at Ghiradelli Square. The view from the Mustard lounge was spectacular! We booked the complimentary bicycles and had a great adventure riding to the Golden Gate bridge. The hotel should probably inform guests that the ride on the bridge is chaotic and children under the age of 16 may have problems navigating through the numerous walkers and other bikers. The breakfast at the Fairmont was perfect for our family and we enjoyed it every morning outside on the terrace. The staff was exceptional and were eager to offer help or suggestions to restaurants or fun places to go. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are looking into the Fractional ownership offered by The Fairmont Heritage. We will definitely stay here again!

The Fairmont Heritage Place was the perfect stay for our vacation. The suites were impeccable, with all of the amenities for our stay away from home. The beds were heavenly! The linen was crisp, fluffy and comfortable. The staff turned down our beds nightly and left a chocolate surprise on our pillows. Ghirardhelli Square was a perfect location to stay in San Francisco. Will definitely stay here again next time.

Great hotel perfect loction for all sites in SF

The Fairmont Heritage is a small very cozy hotel with full 5-star accomodations and service right on Ghirardelli Square on San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf area. My wife and I got a two bedroom suite with full kitchen and in room laundry, for a couple's getaway vacation here. Many complementary services usually not found in other 4 and 5 star properties such as daily breakfast, afternoon wine and cheese, free DVD movie library and others. Clean, comfortable rooms with excellent beds. The hotel staff was very attentive to all our needs... they really know how to make you feel pampered and special.
