This was a great vacation spot for our family of 5. Plenty of room for the 3 kids plus us. Lots of outdoor living space for hanging out whether by the fire pit, on the deck or on the porch. The open air concept was fantastic as we were able to open the living room doors to the deck and have the bar windows open to the kitchen so everyone could be in contact as they wanted. Being 6-8 blocks from the beach was a great bonus as you could easily walk down in 10 minutes or quickly drive and try to find parking (sometimes challenging, sometimes no issues). The location was perfect to get to Old Town, La Jolla or anywhere else quickly and easily. Plenty of towels, pillows, blankets, etc. and stocked with essentials for dining in, this place had everything you need for a week long rental. Highly recommended and would stay here again.

Perfect place for our vacation! Walking distance to beach. Had all the amenities we needed! Hot tub could have been hotter, but I think it was user error! We waited too long to heat it up before using it. Otherwise loved the back yard and amazing hot tub. Girls loved the loft area. Only thing missing was lounge chairs for sunbathing, but they may have been in the garage if we had checked? We ran out of time to use the bikes, but that would have been fun. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

This home was perfect for our group of 11. We had 5 adults and 6 kids and everyone slept and showered comfortably. The home is well stocked for all your cooking needs! We were all impressed with the amount of dishes. The beds were comfortable and the space was spread out enough that we could all relax comfortably in our little groups. The yard is an absolute must!! The fire pit, the bikes, the open kitchen and deck space. We spent all our time out here. 10 minute walk to the beach with a few bikes for guest use and a bike rental shop near by. We will absolutely stay again

We had a great stay at Diamond Paradise. It comfortably fit 6 adults and 1 toddler. We used all the outdoor space on more than one occasion and found the house to be just what we needed. The living room/couch was large enough to seat 6 adults comfortably. We loved that the house opened up from the living room (staking doors) and kitchen (all windows fully opening) out onto the deck and made our lounging time at the house very enjoyable. The kitchen was well-stocked and we had everything we needed to cook aside from a few basics (oil and foil) that we purchased at the store (but not a big deal). Calling the house a "beach house" is a stretch but it was a pleasant 15-20 minute walk that we happily made. The parking options at the house were more than adequate and much appreciated, as 2 of the couples who joined us each drove. We walked to bars and restaurants nearby and really enjoyed the location overall. The only thing to keep in mind is there are only 2 beds for adults that aren't bunkbeds, and the one room with the easiest-to-access bunkbed has no full bath. That being said, we would happily return to this property and stay a day or two longer next time. We would all highly recommend staying here!

It was our first time using Vrbo and the hosts really set the bar pretty high. Everything was as advertised and even more. If you’re considering on bringing your pets, please do! Check in and check out was easy! The hosts were kind enough to give us an extra hour to check out. My family and I were impressed and had so much fun. Grocery stores and restaurants were near by. The beach was only 8 minutes away. I could go on and on about all the good things but you should just experience them yourself. You won’t be disappointed! Will definitely come back and stay again if we ever plan another family trip!

Lovely home! Amazing location. Hot tub was excellent and well cared for. Fire pit worked amazing. Loved the full wall doors that opened up as well as the windows. Would stay again!Check in process was rough as I missed that emails are direct from property management company and not through VRBO. This caused us to not have door codes for entry after hours which was very frustrating. Emergency numbers for property manager aren't answered until 24 hrs later which isn't an "emergency" number.

California Western Graduation

Great property!

My family and I had a great stay here and would stay again. We had a great stay and our family had a great time. The house if big and has a lot of beds and would serve two families well. It was great being so close to a lot of shops and to the beach. Overall we had a great stay and really enjoyed ourselves. We would stay again!

The home was great. My family and I found the home to be very relaxing.However, some of the features exterior features were shut off. Such as the vintage lights for Casita were shutdown, the firepit and fountain.The exterior lights on the side of the Casita were shut off. My nieces and my sister tripped on the spacers walking to and from the house to the Casitas.We were without hot water on the day before our check out. I called the emergency number and received a response six hours after our third call.The plumber arrived around 7:00 pm. Unfortunately, the plumber didn't have any experience with the tankless system.I was told we could use the house up the street. Which relied upon the occupants of the Opal St. house vacating on time and the cleaning crew completing the turn cleaning, was not practical. Especially due our need to make flights home scheduled on Friday morning.I requested a discount for the daily rate for the day. I never received a response.JFThank you.

So Cal Perfection

The property exceeded our expectations from comfort, location, cleanliness and style! Everyone had the best time from kids to adults. Kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked, plenty of towels for showers and the beach as well as ample beach chairs/toys and the bikes were a bonus!The only problem was the older kids had to "fight" for their turn to sleep in the casita! Can't wait to come back!!!
