Hotel Alameda Express

Nice hotel close to the border

Awesome place and for the price you can't beat great place to stay, great complimentary breakfast and friendly helpful staff. Will make it my regular place to stay if I go back.

Courtyard by Marriott Brownsville

We enjoyed our stay!

The room we stayed in was very nice, the bed was super comfortable, it's location was easy to access (it's right across the freeway from the mall). I especially loved the sliding glass door that lead into a courtyard which made it super easy to run to our car and let in a little privacy and sunshine! Everything was clean and nice, except my shower wouldn't work. I ended up having to bathe instead of a quick shower which almost made me late to the funeral for my husband's grandmother... but overall everything was very nice and I just didn't feel like bothering moving rooms for our quick stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone!!!

The Pecan Tree Motel

Secluded, safe area. Yet uncomfortable.

Great safe area. Unsettling that the only door keeping us away from outdoors, was like 2 inches from where we slept. I don't know if it was the cold or what. Just felt unpleasant.
