Staff were fine, nothing over and above. Your front door - that is extremely heavy albeit grand, was broken. The automatic opener was broken. I watched guests that were very well dressed and most older arrive for an evening holiday party, struggling to open the door, not one staff member offered to assist. Terrible. Your hotel had garlands for the holiday put up out front, nobody bothered to clean up the string and other crap left from doing it and it was scattered on the ground. I was not notified that there would be a hideously limited room service only, no bar or restaurant as you had it off limits for your holiday event. That helped me decide to never book at this place again - not to mention a parking ticket out front and $40 overnight valet? Limited parking by hotel, unless you want to move your car at 10pm and 6am. Get it together and get that room service menu up to standard given the room costs - you should be offering decent gluten free and or vegan food and a proper selection. And may I not forget the horrid blast of jet blasted air and noise on entering the floor I was on - talk about a lack of serenity. God forsaken noise. Put blankets in the rooms in winter.

The room was clean and well maintained. The lobby was inviting and warm. The staff was attentive and helpful. The restaurant and bar were on point. I recommend this place to stay. Also within walking distance of things to do and eat. Gold star.

Staff were friendly, kind & responsive. Breakfast was good. Had a bit of a hard time keeping the room cool, but finally worked out the air conditioner. Size of the suites are great and amenities are good, but I was surprised at the lack of cleanliness both in the suite and in the common areas. Hotel needs a serious scrub down and perhaps a fresh coat of interior paint in the hallways. Elevator was dirty and spilled liquid on the floor of the elevator remained the entire weekend. Fingerprints everywhere, sticky residue in the suite kitchen and toothpaste on the wall and sink of the bathroom. Would stay again because of the great staff and comfort of the suite. Cleanliness can be greatly improved. Thanks!

This might be my new favorite place to stay in Sacramento! The restaurant and bar had a romantic, mysterious vibe, and the food and drinks were amazing. They even had live entertainment—a guy with a guitar who was fantastic. The gym was great too. The only odd part was the shared balcony setup, which wasn’t directly outside my room.
