Governors Inn Hotel

We needed a hotel close to the airport with a shuttle but offering an opportunity to go visit Sacremento Old Town. This was perfect. Not many restaurants nearby except for McDonalds and Denny's but only 10 minutes from downtown Sac. Room was large and comfortable, complimentary breakfast adequate. Only issue was noisy refrigerator and air conditioner. Then adjacent road noise kicked in about 6 am. It was hot so needed the AC but difficult sleeping with the AC running. So, take your ear plugs.

Clean room and hotel, friendly staff, great experience!

nice location to town and the airport Good, free shuttle to airport Helpful staff

We stayed here since we wanted to experience the new Kings arena downtown and not have to drive back home. It was an awesome clean hotel that I will stay at again. It was about a mile and a half from the arena and UBER was really cheap for a drop off.

We had a nice stay, this is a clean and safe hotel.

very nice. felt safe. close to freeway, but no noise.

The room was spacious and the hotel was clean. There were many people loitering and sleeping on the streets right outside the hotel fence. One tent, and one sleeping under a bush. We were approached by an unsavory character in the parking lot. The outlets didn't work and there were no USB ports that are common in hotels.

They finished their renovation, so rooms are in good shape as far as I can tell. Free breakfast is minimal - waffles, simple pastries, cereal, yogurt, narrow fruit selection, juice, coffee. Only one of two hotels regularly under $199 that I would tell anyone to stay at. From here you have to jump to $199+ to get anything better. Downtown/West Sacramento and Natomas area is grossly overpriced. Quality, rates, and value are better going east on Highway 50 towards Folsom. A lot of the $90-$177 hotels in the area are much worse than this one, even the ones with national names that you'd expect better of.

Lovely room at an amazing price. Breakfast was better than decent and there were REAL DISHES to eat it on, not styrofoam as at most hotels. Breakfast attendant was also super friendly and efficient. Will definitely stay there again.

every thing was ok. 50 characters is a waste of time

Nothing good that's worth mentioning. Everthing was bad. But if you are looking for just a place to sleep, this place might be just ok. Don't expect more.

This was a last minute visit as the hotel I previously arranged decided to place me in a smoking room (not going to happen). Governor's Inn was very neat, friendly, and professional. Great value for the money.

Stayed just one night. The room was quite, clean and comfortable. The front desk was friendly as was the shuttle driver who took us to the Amtrak station in the morning.

I have stayed in this location before at a hotel across the street. This hotel has been renovated and is an upgrade. The staff are very helpful. The breakfast is enough no eggs or sausage although a good selaction of food. Our room was on the freeway side so I could hear I5 a little. The room was a nice temp it was 90 out side. We must have been there when some disrespectful hotel guests where next door or above us. They were loud and banging around at 2 am..I will stay again if I need a night in Sacramento. Great value.

Came in on a late flight and found hotel convenient and easy to check in and out of on the way to Lake Tahoe. It was a little noisy. Made for a hard time getting to sleep. Plenty of free parking.

We were on our way tonseattle from CA when a rock broke our windshield and we were forced to stop for the night. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the booking was quick, easy and affordable.

Hotel staff advised me on check in that they did not have a reservation for me ! It was getting late and I was not ready to hear this bad news however with some quick phone calls, the front desk clerk was able to establish an acceptable rate for me. I consider that staff very professional and very helpful. The location was fine although near intersection of some busy streets but the room was nice and clean. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who needs a decent place to stay in this area.

I like this Hotel except the food and noise. Maybe I will try to stay again. Hope them to improve that two.

The staff were excellent. The only downside was that the hotel was a bit of a drive from the airport. Otherwise, great experience.

The price is a great value for your money- the checkin was professional and quick. The room was perfect- bed a little hard for my back but I slept sound being close to a main freeway but that made it nice for coming & going.
