This was my first trip to Rome and The First Luxury Art Hotel has set the bar really high for expectation at other hotels around the world. Good location and excellent service all the way around. We will be back!
We celebrated NYE at the First Luxury Art Hotel. The service was impeccable. The New Years Eve celebration on the roof top was perfect. Not too crowded and a great view of Rome’s 360 degree firework display. We will definitely stay at this hotel on our next visit to Rome.
We had a beautiful suite on the 2nd floor with a nice foyer, 2 bathrooms, walk in closet and large living area with an adjoining desk area. Fashionably decorated with deep blue sofas. There was fruit and cookies artfully set on the table. Comfortable bedding with a white down comforter so we felt right at home! Lots of interesting books nicely displayed in shelves added to the room’s charm. The breakfast was delicious with lots of items to choose from. If you’re looking for a 5 Star hotel with great service and in a wonderful location I highly recommend staying here.
Room TOO small and too warm :a pity that air conditioning cannot be controlled from the room... Cupboard too small : only one shelf and no drawer .... Service is very good and all the staff very competent and kind.
Me and my wife have been to Rome four times, and stayed at this hotel the last two times. This by it self is a great review. The location is great, about 15 min walk to everywhere you want to go. Breakfast is great. Beds are excellent, and staff very helpful and kind.
We loved the atmosphere the moment we entered The First Luxury Art Hotel. The staff is very courteous and supportive and we felt taken care off every single moment of our stay. Although in the center of Rome, the rooms are very quiet and we could sleep with the window open.
I go to Rome every couple of years and consistently stay at The First! It is modern, comfortable, has interesting artwork throughout the hotel, and the staff is "first" rate! It's also conveniently located to Popolo, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, and transportation.
The best thing about this hotel, besides great location and clean spacious rooms, is its people - friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help in however weird their customers' requests may be. Cheers!!!
This hotel has an exclusive deal with a local art gallery to display quite a varied array of artwork. It is a small boutique hotel, a bar in the lobby, and an incredible rooftop restaurant. It is in a great location, close to Piazza Popola and many shops.
Not really. At Hotel First, you can see your art without budging. The hotel is full of contemporary pieces (for sale) - in the rooms and in the public areas. But go to this boutique hotel because of its understated comfort, its exceptionally warm welcome and service and its great location in a quiet neighbourhood two steps from the Tiber, a few minutes from the stately Piazza del Popolo and a ten minute walk to the Spanish Steps. Note the rooftop bar with a view of the City. Having covered accomodation and sightseeing without leaving the premises, you can next hit a one-star Michelin restaurant on site, Acquolina - actually a two-star restaurant in disguise. I have reviewed it separately. Overall, what a great focal point to spend time our favourite way - dolce far niente.
