This establishment is not really a hotel but a group of rooms. It is opposite the British Embassy. On entering the building the 3rd door on the left is the lift. 4th floor. Exit the lift and Morrissons Rooms are on the left. Check-in went well. Victoria gave us huge amounts of info and secret places to visit in Rome as well as good value restaurants. Our room was very quiet and serviced every day. Comfortable bed, good shower, very clean, mini bar, kettle for tea/coffee. Breakfast is taken in a café 2 minutes walk away. It consisted of the typical Italian sweet pastries which is the norm. The staff at the café were very obliging and happy. Don't be put off by having to walk to a different location for your breakfast. It really is not a problem and in fact it is interesting watching the locals go by and come in. If you are looking for a very quiet place to stay in Rome, this is it. Only 10 minutes walk from the Termini rail Station. If you are in Rome to party, go back to your room late, be noisy, then seriously this accommodation is NOT for you. There are plenty of notices advising that if you do make unacceptable noise then your booking will be terminated. End of. I had no problem with this. Subsequently, wonderful, undisturbed sleep. If returning to Rome for a 6 Nations Rugby match then I will definitely look to stay here again.
Stylish and cool place with very high level standard room. Small and cosy. It doesn' really matter to have breakfast outside in a local bar (2 blocks away) since you also have free coffe, tea and croissant in your room every day.
We couldn't have made a better choice. In a lovely city with so many problems (dirty and pickpockets everywhere) we felt so happy to have discovered the Morrisson. Small Guest house-boutique right in a safe rea of the city center with all you need in your room. Boiler with free coffe/tea and croissant included. Free speed wifi but most than everything the professional stuff that took all their time at check-in to give us all the useful information of Rome and the hotel. Pickpockets warning and good Restaurant (no touristic) tips. Thank you guys. You made a very good job.
The hotel is situated in the centre of the city, 15 minutes walking from the main Termini station; in a silent zone, next to British Embassy ~ plenty of cameras and very safe. If outside you'll see and old building, but inside you'll find a very modern design. The staff is very pleasant and hard working to your every need. They are friendly and interested and will do anything they can assist you and make your stay more pleasant. The provided breakfast at a nearby bar was delicious. We had an Italian typical breakfast with cappuccino, fresh croissant and fresh orange juice. The room itself is kept to moderns standards and amenities. The bathroom was stocked with hand soap, shampoo, shower cap, toothbrush, hairdryer etc. In the room you'll find a small breakfast table with croissant, tea, coffee and an electric kettle. In the mini- bar from the room you can find an assortment of fresh drinks as water, beer, coke and others. The cleaning service was perfect. They cleaned the rooms very detailed and everything was symmetrically. The rooms were superbly finished and sparklingly clean. Definitely to come back again.
Morrison Hotel is situated in a very nice area next door to U.K. Embassy 10 mins walk from Termini station. Rooms were lovely and clean and staff were wonderful with help for sightseeing tips and with suggestions of local places to eat! Would definitely recommend!
Came here for a few days away with my boyfriend. Absolutely loved it. Hotel was clean, lovely rooms and staff made it even more amazing. Staff were very friendly and helped us with anything we needed, helped us with our way around Rome went our their way to search for places we wanted to go. Cannot wait to come back next year definitely worth a visit!
We have just returned from a 3 night stay and it was very good. I booked these rooms from reviews on T/A and the description of the place and area is what I expected. We had 2 double rooms which were lovely. They were clean ,modern and had everything we needed. The bathrooms are nice with clean towels and toiletries and we had maid service everyday. The rooms and area are very quiet so you will get a good nights sleep. I wouldn't describe this place as an Hotel there's no lobby or bars they are just Rooms only. Morrisson is on the 4th floor and luckily there is a small elevator otherwise its about 90 steps to climb. The building itself is a bit daunting! it reminded me of the tenement blocks in New York, but we never felt unsafe. If you want a good base to come back to after sightseeing this is perfect. There are lots of nice restaurants a few blocks down and the food was very good, and surprisingly a lot cheaper than London.
We had a great time there. Super nice, one to one customer service. We like to explore the city and walk a lot and we are on a budget so for us the location was great : couple of blocks from train station. Lots of supermarkets close by, several laundry stores. The area is safe at night also it houses several embassis close by. The breakfast is good and the people there as super nice too. There's several bus lines that goes to all the main sites so its very convenient. The room is real stylish, nice and super clean. Tks Morrisson for a eat stay!
This place is in a good location next to some embassies and about 10-15 walk from Termini station. Be aware that this is NOT a hotel, but an apartment that was converted into rooms. The people working there were nice and helpful, and the prices were good. But if you plan on spending more time inside than just sleeping I would recommend a hotel. Otherwise this is good if you're just stopping through or plan to be out most of the time. The rooms are clean but you can hear almost everything in the hallways. If this was listed as a Bed and Breakfast or apartment id give it a higher rating but the hotel title is misleading.
This establishment was quite good. Really more of a B&B (no real lobby/24 hour front desk, etc) but fantastic given the price. It's in a great location, about a 15-20 min walk to the main Termini station, 1.5-2 miles to most of the big historical sites in Rome (except the Vatican), in a safe neighborhood, and just around the corner from one of the best gelato places in town (La Romana). Pros: good location, room was very clean and the Morrison staff was very helpful and friendly. They really care about their guests experience while visiting and it shows. The outside of the building looks a bit rough but Morrison's itself (inside) is clean and modern. Cons: breakfast was not served onsite. You have to walk 2 blocks or so to a little place where the staff didn't really seem to like dealing with non-Italian speaking guests. We fared well, but watched as employees got visibly upset with some guests who had problems communicating. The WIFI is a bit spotty, and you are "strictly forbidden," as a note on the wall of your bathroom warns, from washing any clothes.
