Lovely rooms and excellent service. We loved the balcony and the efforts made with the accommodations and service. There are nearby restaurants that are amazing as well. The only down side is the small area in the middle of the rooms that allows others to sit there and smoke.
The staff were very helpful. The place is clean. It is located in an area where it is not that pleasant to wander at night, but if you walk 12 minute you are in Centre of activities. We climbed to the top to see the view of Rome.
Perfect for exploring Rome and all its sights. The “ must see’s” are all within walking distance assuming you’re reasonably fit. Room was modern and airy (top floor - 401) with a balcony and good views over the cities fascinating rooftops. Super value especially with breakfast which was basic but perfectly adequate. Staff very friendly and helpful. We’d definitely recommend and will come back.
I stayed three nights at this charming and conveniently-located hotel. Rooms are modern and immaculately clean; price was reasonable. Upon my morning arrival from the USA, the staff directed me to freshen in a lockable bathroom with soap, hot water and clean terrycloth towels - very helpful since my room was not ready for occupancy yet. Rooms are comfortable and peaceful. American and European breakfast foods were good, varied and plentiful. The diminutive entrance lobby always had a bowl of fresh apples for the taking. The staff members all were helpful, some assisting us with extra chairs, wine glasses and antipasti for a balcony gathering. I plan to return for future stays.
The property is conveniently located with a wonderful staff. We enjoyed the terrace off our clean, comfortable room. Great experience. The staff is knowledgeable and eager to assist. Easy walking distance to the Vatican and numerous landmarks.
Great location close to the must sees. Bad breakfast. Good service. Room was ok and clean, but if somebody on the same floor sneezed, we could hear it. You can literally hear the conversations of the guests in the other rooms. Overall - oké - but too expensive for what it is.
Excellent, located near the Vatican, quiet place with very hospitable staff. Renovated large rooms with layers of roman stucco & bricks. Nice breakfast, good coffee and green & red apples just to take. Highly reccomended!!
The hotel is situated near convenient bus routes into Rome city centre and is 3.5 km from the main station. It is quiet and the rooms are good sizes. The decor is contemporary and there are interesting art works throughout the hotel. Service was very good; before arrival reception organised a transfer from the airport, reception staff were helpful and knowledgeable, the cleaning staff were meticulous and the team at breakfast were very friendly and went to a lot of trouble to meet requests. The breakfast was one of the best we have encountered in any hotel. We had a designer room which we liked but was a bit dark as it had frosted glass windows, being beside the courtyard of the neighbouring house so we talked to reception who were very helpful and upgraded to a room with a view on the upper floors. There are excellent local restaurants within easy walking distance ( Massi, Da Penitenzieri, Il Sorpasso). The Tiber is one street away and the surprisingly green and rural Janiculum Hill is just a short uphill walk and offers great views over Rome, as well as the statute of Garibaldi and the separate one to his wife (very fitting as the award winning Women's Centre with its cafe and activities is also nearby).
Excellent hotel, the staff, for a small hotel the breakfast spread was fantastic with a great selection. We had an executive room with a balcony which was very good. Your at the Vatican end of the city 5 mins from St Peters, but this means tour 30-40 mins from the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain and more to the coliseum. We had Big bus pass and used that as mode of transport to reduce the walk. Great hotel would recommend.
Great location very close to Vatican City. Awesome staff, nicely appointed room with a nice balcony too! The staff gave great suggestions on places to eat and also some great highlights for attractions (which are bountiful in Rome) to visit. A guided tour of the Vatican is a must as it allows you to skip the lines. Also would recommend the guided tour of the Colosseum which also included a guided tour of Palitine Hill...another must see site.
