Great location, super service, spacious room, and fantastic staff.

This property located in the best and most convenient place. Walkable to any place Best place for shopping

Not a five star hotel they,my experience you need to ask for bath tissue, etc ,the bed is a a pull out bed not comfortable at all

Bad rooms/ bad mattress/ bad pillows. Bad bathrooms

The hotel conditions are terrible Very old need remodeling Matrass very hard ,pillows horrible . Breakfast very everage compare to other 5 stars hotels in the city I will not recommend to stay in this place

Right on the doorstep to the best sights in Rome, great shopping street and amazing atmosphere. However, for the price, rooms are clean but old and falling apart. Do not expect any amenities (no gym, no adaptors, Wi-Fi that works once every 10 hours).

I approached the front desk to arrange a shuttle to the airport the next day. I was told "We don't do those arrangements". I then asked what I was to do, or what options and the front desk lady said "That is your problem". You must understand that this hotel has a 5-star rating. I was fuming and returned to my room to check for online shuttle reservations. The internet didn't work. I went to the lobby, where I was told that the internet would be strong. There was no internet. I tried all 3 computers I had... no internet. I inquired and was told that "We don't really have internet. We may return the service in the coming weeks". I visited the rooftop bar/restaurant. I asked, as a guest, if I could sit up there. They said "No.. unless you buy a drink". I looked at the menu and every drink was $25. I looked around and noticed two groups of people sitting without drinks. I asked the hostess and she said "They are special guests". I told her that I was a guest in the hotel. She replied "But you are not special". I have never written a negative review in all of my life for a hotel. I am doing so for this hotel. It is a crime that they have a 5-star rating. This hotel was 100% completely empty when I arrived, and remained so for the entire stay. Not a person in the lobby restaurant or even in the lobby. I thought this was strange given the location. Now I know why there was nobody at this hotel. The employees have given up and there are no consequences for their actions.

It was so bad that we didnt even spend one night at this hotel. We lost $600 because of this hole. It stinks, its old its bad. DO NOT BOOK!!!!

We chose this hotel for 3 reasons; the location, the 'old world' style and the 5 star rating. The location cant be beat....it doesn't get any better than this. The old world style in Rome means a beautiful palazzo look, marble floors, mahogany furniture and brass & gilt plus huge imposing dining rooms and a magnificent lounge. The rooms are a different story as they look great and spacious but the plumbing, air-conditioning and beds seriously need renovation and modernisation. The first room (238) we were given had faulty A/C and the next day we complained and were moved to an inferior room (304) with a smaller bed but with functioning A/C. The bathrooms in both rooms need serious work though as the shower pressure is really weak and the tub and faucet probably remember Mussolini!! Also the detail in the rooms requires serious work; beds squeak and groan, doors & windows jam or don't close properly, carpets are old and stained...all minor things but this is supposed to be a 5 star hotel and the prices certainly are 5 star...cocktails on the roof bar cost 20 euros EACH!!!! No wonder we were the only patrons. Also the room lack coffee making facilities and a MAJOR drawback for me is that there is no swimming pool. After a strenuous day walking about Rome in the summer heat an OUTDOOR pool would be heaven.
