This apartment was a fantastic place to stay for my ten day trip to Rome with my Mom. The location truly could not be beat. I was pleased that the metro was only four blocks away, multiple bus lines stopped within a block of the apartment and there was a taxi line half a block away.
The apartment itself was great. It is located on the first floor (second floor for Americans) with a short hallway leading to the two apartments owned by the same people. The common areas were clean. The building was very secure. There were three separate locks: one each for the building, hallway and apartment.
Future renters - please note that you will need to have cell phone data and/or wifi to operate these locks. I had not planned on using my cell phone data abroad and struggled to figure out the apartment lock in particular. Some of that struggle may be blamed on over 20 hours of travel and extreme tiredness! The owners were wonderfully responsive and helpful about my lock confusion.
The inside of the apartment was immaculate! The bathroom was wonderful. There were small shampoos and soap included as well as a hair dryer. The kitchen included almost everything we could want - soap, dishwasher pods, pots and pans, etc. We experienced some confusion over the stove, but that was because we had never used an induction stove. The bedroom was spacious, the bed comfortable.
The apartment is above a fantastic restaurant. There is some noise but it ends by midnight.
