It may be better than you expected. Termini Station is 2 min away and there are a lot of good things about this hotel. First the room was very clean and cosy. Breakfast was good, a lot of choices from which to choose. Location is excellent, and if you feel like taking a walk, the Collosseum is 10 min away. A big bonus are the little stores full of clothes, shoes, souvenirs and everything else you need. Also in the neighborhood there are lots of good cheap restaurants.
+ 1.The location is convenient. Only 100 meters from Termini Station (actually from the spot that the shuttle bus from Chiampino drops you off). 2. Polite staff. - 1. Not very clean. 2. The room smelt very very much from smoke although it said no-smoking and it had a smoke detector. 3. There isn't fridge in the room. 4. No central heating. Only A/C. 5. Breakfast very poor not even toasted bread with ham and cheese, no fruits or yoghurt or egg. Only milk. The juice machine broke down. And when the little portions of nutella (ready made) finished, they said they had no more (although the hotel was fully booked and they should have more supplies)
I read mixed reviews about this hotel here on TripAdvisor, but my partner and I loved this hotel! We stayed here four nights and had a great time. Plus points: - Close to Termini station - Big room and bathroom - Nicely decorated rooms - Very good cleaning service - Cheap drinks from the vending machine - Super friendly English speaking staff Minus points: - Rough neighbourhood, especially at night - No free WiFi (but we had data on our phones, so it wasn't a problem) We would definitely stay here again!
This was a lovely clean Hotel. Staff were very nice and couldn't do enough for you. Location is very good and 5 mins walk would get you to the local Train Station. The breakfast was nice but basic. This is the first time that I have stayed in a Hotel, that had no bar of any kind, and didn't serve meals to Hotel Guests.
Lovely little hotel, clean, comfortable and very friendly staff. Continental breakfast adequate. The hotel is right next to the bus and train station and also only 20 minutes walk from the sites like Colliseum and Forum. Only 25 mins from Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps and you can get a number 64 bus to the Vatican cost 1.50 per person. This makes the hotel an excellent base and I would have no difficulty recommending it
The room was very small. The bathroom was even smaller. There was no kettle to make cup of tea or coffee. Neighborhood was dirty and unsafe. Some staff were ok. The young girl in the kitchen for breakfast was so happy and cheerful. The older lady was rude and moaned and groaned when people came in for breakfast. Breakfast selection was poor with no fruit or yoghurt. No toaster to make toast. Wouldn't stay there again
This was an average hotel. It was clean, great location and the staff was quite helpful. Nice a close to the metro and the train station which made it very convenient. If you are not looking for something fancy this is it. I would return to this hotel.
I stayed here because a friend had booked it but I would not stay here again. We had to pay 8 euros for internet only to find out that it was per device so if you have a phone and laptop then you pay 16 euros for a week's internet access in the hotel. The breakfast is meager and they had cold cereal (corn flakes, etc) with luke-warm milk plus the termini area, where the hotel is located, is a bit sketchy. This was my first time in Rome but if I ever go back, I will stay somewhere else.
Stayed there at the end of our Euro trip, but before staying in Rome, we headed to Florence and Venice and didn't want to lug around our big suitcases, so with our confirmed booking, they kept our suitcases for 3 nights which was a big relief. I advise you book directly with hotel as it comes of REALLY cheap, I think we paid 60eu for a standard room with breakfast (they offer staggered pricing for each additional service +breakfast, +bfast&wifi, etc.) which I think is brilliant. Room is clean and spacious (1 queen bed and a single bed), but as mentioned by some, some odor coming from pipes in toilet--did not bother us though. Breakfast was simple fare, bread, jam+butter+cheese, I think cereals are on offer too. Couldnt complain.
Good location for a reasonable price, 5 mins walk from the main station. 20 mins or so from the colosseum. Continental breakfast was ok. Only negative was the wi-fi was only free for a day or two I think. No problems with the room and overall a good stay
