The room was large and clean, the location was within walking distance to many sites including the Vatican. The area is a fantastic Rome experience. The only complaint we had was the people who live upstairs would stomp around from about 3 to 7, guessing kids but it was annoying if you’re trying to rest before heading back out. The staff were excellent and we loved the breakfast, at their main hotel a couple blocks away

The breakfast is about a 10-15 minute offsite at a sister hotel but well worth the walk. It was an amazing breakfast with so many wonderful, healthy options and great quality of food. The hotel is on a busy street but as long as the windows are closed, it cuts the noise down. The bottle of complimentary wine in the room was very nice. The front desk staff was able to arrange our transport to and from the airport.

Pros: -Bed was very comfortable! -Spacious room -Easy check-in process -Airport pick up was very nice, our driver was excellent and friendly. -Excellent, central location to everything. We walked everywhere, even all the way to the Colosseum (30ish minutes). -Nespresso machine in lobby -Shampoo and body wash scents were lovely. Cons: -Hot tub made the room humid, so the room had a bad odor because of it. Smell was noticeable when you enter the room, but you get used to it and don’t notice it after a while. -Floor boards near the jacuzzi had some water damage, but no surprise there. -Located on a very busy street, so we often heard sirens. Neutral: -About a 7 minute walk to the breakfast hotel, used Google Maps to navigate. Breakfast was decent the day we went! -Towels were changed out everyday. The towels had a slight vinegary odor, but were clean and fine to use. -Hot tub was nice, but couldn’t get the temperature where we wanted it. Overall a nice stay. I would opt for a room without the hot tub next time.

The room was amazing, right be the river, very clean and an excellent jacuzzi, and away from all the loud nightlife…yet everything was within walkable distance. Kudos to the staff because they were very helpful, cheerful and was eager to please. Highly recommended!

Overall this place is a disaster, I got there and I had to wait about 5 minutes to somebody open the door, I had to climb stairs with my suitcase, second I didn't wanted to say over-there and I request to talk to a manager or someone in charge of the hotel and I was told by the secretary that the only manager was out of rome and no one was there, just another secretary that has more experience than her, I stay over 3 hours waiting to see her and she never arrived, I had a tour in the room and the room was terrible, super dark and has nothing to do with the pictures shown in Expedia, I called Expedia and no one helped me, they gave the same answer to them and they stayed with that answer, they just told expedia in another email that I didn't saw the room which was not true, the building is a shared building with people living in there, meaning that you have to share the property with them, I don't know how this place has 9.4 in Expedia, but if you are on vacations and want to have a great time, please go somewhere else.

Great place to stay in Rome!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the B&B Rome River Inn! It was our first time to Rome and honestly this place would be our first consideration in the future. The location is perfect! My wife and I walked all over Rome and the Rome River Inn is ideally located, if you don't mind walking. The bed was nice, large and comfortable. There is no thrills just a great centrally, clean hotel in the middle of everything. The breakfast was a few blocks away but my wife and I did not mind at all walking the streets of Rome. The staff were extremely nice and attentive to our needs. Can not wait to return to Roma!
