Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in my life. Very old and musty smell. Rooms are small and not sound proof. Can hear every conversation coming from the street/ sidewalk. Room had one outlet and the shower leaked water all over floor after taking a 15 minute shower. Beds were hard as rocks. Literally had neck and back pain for a week. Horrible. Don’t recommend at all

Stayed here the last time we were in Rome and chose to stay here again. Hotel staff is excellent. Location is convenient to lots of activities. Free shuttle back to the airport is a nice bonus

I would not recommend, wanted to leave the next day. Dark room, bed looked like hospital beds( I had a triple room ). They don't change the bed sheets. Shower curtain dirty. Lobby is in the basement and a bad smell either from the old rugs or just basement smell. Pictures on the Internet are not of this hotel. They are from a partner hotel. Roof top is not kept clean, no one sits there as well as the "garden" in the basement. Good things: close to the Vatican, AC very good and free transport to the airport either upon arrival or when leaving. Not a 4 star hotel, you have to purchase the items in the minibar and they are warm. They have the fridge connected to the room lights. When you leave the room or sleep the fridge gets turned off.

Hotel is just walking distance from Vatican City and metro. Given the area building in old and rooms have street or other building view and are location is noisy as you get street noise

Walking distance to Vatican, pantheon, trevi fountain

Incredible room. Exceeded our expectations. Great breakfast, great location and near public transportation

I have stayed here 4-5 times before over the past 10 years. Something has gone wrong. The bathroom was very very tiny. The bath room door wouldn't close and was very squeeky. The room was tiny and dark. The shower almost impossible to get in and out of safely. There was no way to use the shower without flooding the entire bathroom floor. The room seemed designed for midgets. Whenever we asked the attendant at the front gate for help finding the location of a church or something else we were directed to the computer in the lounge. We often hesitated to ask for help because there was a long line of folks waiting for the one person at the front desk to provide help. We reported that the buttons on our phone were useless when trying to contact the front desk (we needed towel to wipe up the flood after we showered) or to try to get room service or make a restaurant appointment. Also, our reservation for this trip was with the Atlante Garden and we were given a room in Atlante Star without anyone explaining the difference or why this was happening. The restuarant was

Hotel was old but clean. The location was excellent. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel but ate at the wonderful cafe across the street. Lot of restaurants and shopping nearby. Subway was a little farther than we would have liked. about 15 min walk. Do not take the taxi to the Fumigiano airport if you do not want to spend the $$50 EU. There is a shuttle that stops a couple of blocks away on the same street as the hotel. $$ 4 EU/person

Overall impression was good to great. Four of us stayed in central Rome (Termini Station) for three days prior to this location. I originally booked it thinking it was going to be mellow. It was a little slower than the prior location and turned out to be perfect. I didn't think there would be much going on close to the hotel but I was wrong. Great shopping, restaurants, shops all within a block of the hotel. The location was also perfect for historical things to see and do all within a short 10-15 minute walk. Metro stop very close too. I would recommend the location. The hotel is listed as a 4 star and it is close. I can see that it was at one time and can see they are working on some things to spruce it up. I would give it a 3 plus star. Great and helpful staff. We had to leave at 4 am and they set up a ride to the airport with no problems (50 E flat fee). The bar was perfect for a few drinks and the breakfast option is recommended for 9 E as you would spend that for a coffee and croissant anyway plus there many other items available. We got a junior suite that had 4 beds and it was just fine. Not a lot of room and no "lounge" area in the room but that was expected anyway. The bathroom could use a little sprucing up but overall, we were pleased with the say and would recommend.

Good services, walking distance, Great restaurants in a walking distance.

Great hotel, really close of the vatican museum and the saint peter church, at close distance of metro station, and great restaurants and stores near by. Have a classic decoration, and a very good breakfast for a european hotel. the staff is realy nice, and helpfull.
