Decent property fairly near the Termini train station. The hotel needs refurbishment. The staff is great, though, and we also enjoyed a free happy hour on Saturday. Rooms are adequate, although a bit smaller than other Rome hotel rooms I have stayed at. The area is a bit seedy, especially at night. There is a metro station directly in front of the hotel that made it very convenient, especially for visiting the Vatican.

The staff was incredible, and the included continental breakfast was triple the size you usually see in the US! The room was small, and the mattress a bit dated, but all in all this Hotel was perfect! We will stay here again for sure!

The staff was excellent. Great common areas. Nothing I did not like.

I had a single room, about 10' X10', single bed, dresser, chair, wardrobe and nightstand. This was perfect for me traveling alone and I was on a higher floor away from wandering people. Each room has individual A/C, which was great. The restroom was tiny, but functional (could use an extra shelf for guests items). The one thing that I didn't like (and it could be common in Europe) was that to have the lights on, you had to put your key card in a receptacle on the wall. There were no light switches on the lamps or sconces, so either you had full lighting, or pitch black. There were 3 channels with English language TV (although older stuff like, "The Ghost Whisperer"), which was okay (not something the hotel was accountable for). The bar area was nice, but warmer than the lobby and sitting areas. On Friday night there was only one person working the bar/restaurant until 7:00pm. He was doing a great job servicing the many bar tables, line at the bar and seated dinner guests until his backup arrived. Outside of the hotel is a covered walkway that spans the entire length of the building and continues on the adjacent buildings which all surround a park square. There were homeless sleeping on the tiled walkways and the park had some sketchy folks milling about. The main train station is a 10 minute walk and has restaurants and shopping. There are some great pastry shops five minutes away, a grocery store and a few restaurants as well.

Classic hotel in the city center. Personal service, lovely breakfast and dining rooms. Well worth a return visit.

We enjoyed are stay at the Napoleon Hotel. The room was clean with

This hotel was a hidden gem. But what made it really special was the staff - always friendly and the front desk gave us great tips on what to see and best way to get there. Couldn’t be happier with the choice to stay there.

Nice Hotel with antiquity appeal, Metro Train Station at the front door. Artwork on the inside! Great Breakfast and Service Staff!

Nice hotel very clean comfortable and close to everywhere your rooms and your staff was friendly helpful thank you for everything

Great hotel and great location friendly staff and very clean rooms. Will five this Hotel a 4 star rating, breakfast is a little reduced in options but also good the area is very good and secure a lot to do around the hotel and very close to attractions

Lovely hotel. Close to the Metro, shops, and restaurants.

My husband and I had a great experience at the Napoleon hotel. It was right near a subway station, so very convenient to move around town. The staff was very nice and helpful, we purchased Roma pass on site upon arrival and even last minute passes for the Vatican. They also figured out it was my birthday and the manager sent me a bottle of champagne! The only thing I had difficulty was the small size of the shower area (even though the bathroom per se had a good size): I am 6 months pregnant and it was very hard for me to get in and out of the shower. Overall, we had a great experience.

-Nice hotel in its day, all furnishings were very dated. -a good location but the area around the hotel is in serious decay. For women and those who travel alone might not feel safe walking around both day and night. -As a person of color I felt that some of the staff did not extend the same curtesys to me as those who were white. -The additional city tax should be made clearer.

Near central railway station. Easy to get to by train from airport.

great location near the coliseum and amazing views

Exceptional service in a small family owned hotel. Very charming- a bit dated but adds to the ambience. Quiet. Right next to metro. Good breakfast in am. Only issue was plumbing ( toilet) but everything thing else fine.

Thanks for the nice comment. Somehow the staff is part of the family, almost everyone has worked with us for many years, they are fond of the hotel and work with passion. The common rooms are certainly one of the best qualities of the hotel. we look forward to welcome you again in the near future
