This is hands-down the closest accommodation I’ve ever stayed to the Vatican. Exit the gate and in just a few steps you’re at the right colonnades of St. Peter’s Square—literally that close. Within a 10-minute stroll you’ll find countless great shops & restaurants lining charming streets. Check-in Process: Seamless. Install WhatsApp before arriving in Rome—it’s the easiest way to communicate without an EU phone number. Owner/manager responds instantly with crystal-clear instructions. Early arrival? Leave luggage in the secure common area (cameras cover space and stairwell). Double security: coded gate to courtyard, then separate code for building. Room: Comfortable, but no slippers, so wear socks or shoes. Walls near floor show scuff marks—clearly from guests putting on/off shoes or dragging luggage. Same wear on floor. Suggestion: add wainscoting or short protective wallpaper to keep it fresh. Bed linens clean but one had a small tear under pillow—needs a quick housekeeping check. Bathroom: Standout! Shower and toilet area is significantly larger and more comfortable than my previous Vatican stay. Plenty of room. Minor confusion: diverter switch between fixed showerhead and handheld spray isn’t intuitive. Daily Delight: Every morning at 7am and again ~ 5pm, hundreds of birds fill the air with song from nearby trees and rooftops. Not noise—a joyful, natural alarm clock. Highly recommend for location

Location near Vatican was remarkable. We very easily got to all the sites and tours we wanted with a 20 minute or less walk. Room was very nice, bed was comfortable, and having room cleaned daily was also nice. Additional pillows would be nice for reading and relaxing in bed.

This is a no frills property, but you literally could not get any closer to the Vatican and St Peter’s. The room is very basic, but clean and provided all the needed essentials. Bed was comfortable, could have maybe used an extra pillow or two. Very nice bathroom. The property managers are communicative and responsive. Check in instructions were simple and we were able to store luggage until the room was ready. They helped up book a return to the airport which was very helpful. Extremely convenient location for visiting the Vatican and the rest of the city. The gate of the property is between the wall of a building and the Vatican wall, you are just steps away. The neighborhood is very lively with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. About a 10-15 minute easy walk to the Vatican Museum and metro stop. About 5 minutes from bus stops.

What a delightful surprise in Vatican City! I loved the location and ease while staying. Unbelievably quiet, especially at night. The host readily responded to any question or request, they were very helpful. Our room was spacious, the sink separate from the shower and toilet. The whole guesthouse is recently renovated. We enjoyed our stay there and look forward to returning!

Our U.S. family of 5 stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the Vatican. All communication and check-in was all done through messages via Expedia and Whatsapp, be sure to have that downloaded on your phone. These are simple, no fuss rooms with a bed, nightstand and bathroom/shower...steps away from St. Peter's basilica on the other side of the Vatican City wall and about an 11 minute walk to the Vatican museum (Sistine chapel). Once you're in the courtyard, it is very quiet. Rooms have air-conditioning. We stayed in one room while our 3 children stayed in a room next door. There was a common area upstairs where they had grab-and-go juices, teas, coffee, pre-packaged breakfast items, and a microwave and mini fridge. If we arrived before the rooms were ready, we would have left our luggage in this common space. We were lucky to have the rooms ready by 1pm. It is situated in the heart of a touristy area so the restaurants are pretty mediocre and expensive for what you get, but there are 1-2 restaurants tucked away that make homemade pastas only 5 minutes walking distance. If you walk 15 minutes across the bridges, you'll have more options. This guest house was perfect for our short stay. It is about a 10 minute walk to the Metro which is how we arrived since we took the train from Florence. The train Metro is only 6 stops on the A line and costs 1.50Euros/person/way over 10yrs old.

the best location a few steps and you’ll be @ St Peter ‘s square , very convenient if your shopping for souvenirs, I recommend to to go to Bogo Fidis store for rosary , has good quality products and reasonable price.The room are cleaned every day , breakfast is free and open anytime.Super convenient to all restaurants and walkable to metro.
