Solid facility. No frills, just a good clean room and bed with a nice staff. Would definitely stay here again.
This is an incredible value for the price. The Orbitz listed price was $74 for the king room, before applying Orbucks. The bed was enormous, there was a really nice and comfortable chaise lounge (I spent hours there!), the decor was up-to-date and attractive--with a lovely Japanese-style orchid arrangement-- and everything was very clean. The bathroom has TWO showers--one with a tub and one as a stall. The water pressure and hot water were good, and the shower head had adjustable settings. The location is convenient to what is considered by many to be the best sushi restaurant in town. It's also very close to a shopping mall and cinemaplex. I have two complaints: One: the road noise. It was hard for me to sleep, even with silicone ear plugs in. The heating/a/c unit's fan drowns it out adequately, but then you have to deal with finessing the temperature while keeping the fan running all the time. You can set the fan on a timer, but then when it shuts off you might wake up too hot or cold, depending on the time of year. I suggested to the management that they get a white noise machine, and he was receptive. My other complaint is the breakfast. The waffle maker was nice, but I can't eat wheat, so I was looking for something like a hard-boiled egg and some sausage links. What they had were fried eggs cooked hard like firm discs and greasy sausage patties. It looked truly unappetizing, so I went to a restaurant instead.If they got the white noise machine I'd stay again.

To start the the first room given to us had blood on the sheets, once moved to different room the second room smelled of smoke and fresh paint, breakfast bar was decent and hotel had little parking for any car bigger then a smart car
The hotel was clean, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. The woman who checked me in on 8/23/17, who made a point of telling me this wasn't her "real job" and she works in a hospital to assist "people like me" (I'm an amputee), was very rude. When I asked for anything to sit on in the shower she told me that if a handicapped room wasn't available I should have made other accomations. The man at the front desk the following morning found me a stool. She was unwilling and said that she couldn't understand why I travelled so far for a solar eclipse. When my husband, who she didn't meet at check in, later inquired about obtaining ice, she walked away and suggested he go to a gas station.
