Newly painted room, nice bed, TV and bathroom. BUT the reading light on the right side of the bed didn't work, the usb plug socket didn't work (told the front desk), there was no toilet paper (had to get it ourselves from Reception), no water glasses in the room, the key didn't work (wasn't programmed), and...for those needing was a very noisy room at the front of the building (outside road noise). The room was not ready on check in or when we returned 40 mins later....bed not made and door left ajar. ALL the bottom floor rooms to the left of Reception (5 in total) were left open (doors ajar and partially open) all Sunday evening and overnight. ANYONE could have gone in those rooms, stolen the TVs, the bedding, everything. It was very strange and not very safe. Someone had previously smoked in the non-smoking room we booked and there was a burn hole in the quilt...I told the manager on duty who said they would "charge" the previous occupants. How do they know who did it? When it was done? If it was the previous occupant shouldn't the person who made the bed have reported it and changed the quilt before we were booked into that room? As non-smokers we found the smoke smell & burn hole nasty. After booking with Choice Hotels during the duration of our 4 week vacation and traveling from Florida to Virginia and back again...I have to say the woman that checked us in Sunday night at this Quality Inn was the most unwelcoming front desk person I have ever come across. As a long time Choice Hotel member I found her attitude very strange since most Choice Hotel desk staff are very polite and professional. It was like we were an inconvenience to her, no smile, an angry attitude, almost disrespectful, not at all welcoming (I came very close to just going to the Hilton Hotel across the street for the 2 days stay as we did the previous year). The location of this motel is good, the price is good, but with so many other hotel choices they need to realise that the attitude of the staff has as much to do with returning customers as price does.

i made a reservation here so myself and girlfriend could relax one evening,I went to check in and was told locals were not allowed and debit cards not accepted,I am a choice hotel gold member and was told all this and also after picking my girlfriend up from work I would have to come by with her Identificationmshe said she would make an exception this one time and would let us stay since it was already paid for,I was told it is a franchise owned by Indians and they make their own rules, not the rules of choice hotels,I will never stay there again!

This hotel has recently been completely renovated, and it was great! The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Check in/out was quick and smooth, and the people at the front desk were very friendly. The internet works well. It is located on a street with plenty of places to eat or purchase gas. The breakfast was very good with eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, toast, yogurt, etc.

Hi it was a very pleasent and comfortable stay with the hotel.i stayed there for a week trust me the front desk ,and the staff was really good at their profession.newly renovated property.acessible to many food joints. I love to stay again in future .

The room was comfortable and clean, the WiFi worked, the breakfast buffet was the high quality and variety we have come to expect at Choice Hotels, and the staff worked hard to be helpful. BUT . . . they have a policy that upset my wife and me. When we arrived, I did as I always do at Choice Hotels: I went in to claim our reservation, showed the clerk my credit card and driver's license. She took all that information, then asked, "Is anyone traveling with you?" I had made the reservation for two senior adults, so I assumed she had that information. I said, "Yes. My wife is with me." Then the clerk said, "I must see her ID. I said, "Why is that? I've never heard of that before." She said, in effect, "If anything should happen and medical personnel or police are called in, we need to have that information." I went back to the car and told my wife what the clerk had said. Reluctantly, she went in and asked as I had asked, why this was necessary. She got the same story. I also noticed the sign at the registration desk indicating that they accept only cash or credit cards. No checks or debit cards. This quirkiness is serious enough to affect our overall rating of our stay.

All Brand New rooms with new beds and bedding. Clean and comfortable rooms. Wonderful and friendly staff. Great Breakfast - eggs, bacon, waffles, etc. Great Stay at a Great Price. A+ stay for me and I will be back

We'd been driving 14 hours and needed a place that accepted pets. Called reservations and I accidentally booked this QI which was 10 miles out of our way. Turned out quite well. We had a newly renovated room which was very, very nice. Staff was very friendly. No area to walk the dog but it was an overnight stop on a long trip. It was perfect for us.

I stayed here because it was booked as part of a group trip with friends. The hotel went down hill in the last couple of years and my friends had not read the current reviews. Currently one half of the hotel is being remodeled and the other half is dirty and shabby. There is a collection of old mattresses out back. The breakfast food and the coffee are awful. The mattress was uncomfortable. Melissa at the front desk is friendly and helpful; she should get a job elsewhere.

We stayed there 2 different times in January. Both times we stayed in the same room. The first visit was pleasant. The room was clean & the breakfast buffet was fully stocked with a good assortment. Eggs & bacon, yogurt, waffles, cereal, bagels, coffee, juice, etc. The second time the room was dirty & there was barely anything to choose from for breakfast. They had cereal but no milk. Bagels but not cream cheese, no juice. We ended up with a waffle & that is it.

First I will say that the only reason I stayed here was because I was on a motorcycle trip and it was raining so hard that you could not see. So I really had no other choice. The place was filthy! I don't think that the floors in the rooms had been vacuumed in at least a couple of weeks. There was all kinds of crap on the floors and the place smelled horrible. And since I don't want to be really mean... I will stop my review right here.
