Convenient to the interstate. Exterior room access. Updated rooms. Positive experience!

I've had terrible experience with bugs in the past. First thing I check for are bugs and behold I found a bug. That ruined the rest of my night. Also the next day, I pulled the sheets back to check for missing items of mine and found spots on the covers and sheets that I know weren't from me.

The mattress is outdated and was not comfortable. Cockroaches present in the room. Iron board was broken.

Pros- nice staff, clean room, housekeeping good, daily breakfast Cons- needs updating, frayed furniture, head board look like it came from grandma gouse inconsistent fixtures, in a party of 6 our room had the smallest tv & fridge, breakfast was powdered eggs, microwave sausage, paper thin bacon, bland waffle mix

The room we had was very nice and comfortable. The AC unit was very loud but it was the only one near our room that was loud.

Conveniently located close to Roanoke airport. If their free shuttle service isn't available, they will contact a cab company to come pick you up for free. Room was spacious and clean, with mini fridge, microwave , safe and tv.

Great staff and remodeled ruins are nice. It's quiet, great breakfast, easy to find with an amazing Mexican restaurant down the street.

Question you have to ask yourself is " Would you our your relatives stay at this hotel".

I usually don't sleep well away from my select comfort bed at home but these newly renovated rooms had wonderful beds. Best sleep away from home I've ever experienced.

This hotel certainly did not meet any expectations. Upon check-in we received our 1st room. The key did not work, nor did the handle to open the door. Get second key, same thing. Did not work. Then they moved us to another room. If you book here, do not get room 178. It wasn't prepped. We had to ask for towels, there were non in there. The bathroom was just gross. There was mold on the tiles. The toilet rocked back and forth. There was water pooled in the bathroom. The shower head looked like it was held to the wall with puddy. The mattress was uncomfortable. We had to ask for pillows. Maybe the other rooms were ok, no this one. Also looked like people lived there, thats ok, but they had 60lb dogs with them. Well above the limit. Just stay away.

clean rooms, friendly staff - location is so-so. The room was well designed and fit the needs I had for one night.

This hotel seems more like a motel with a remodel--a very nice remodel. My room was attractive and clean, with the exception of the broken rack in the bathroom and a GIANT that fell from the ceiling and went scurrying under the bed, and had a very comfortable bed. Two positive surprises were the nice courtyard area that smelled of jasmine and the fact that it was relatively quiet. Two annoying factors were the amount of light that filled the room at night even with the blackout curtains drawn and the chair that was unusable--the floor would have been more comfortable. Having a courtyard room would probably help with the first problem a good bonfire should do the job with the second. I wish they had told me about the fitness room, which I didn't see until I was leaving based on what I could see, it may have been disappointing, but I would have liked to check it out. A very minor issue was the door that was difficult to close and open. In general, the staff was very pleasant, though housekeeping never cleaned my room, which wasn't a big deal since I'm tidy. Although I didn't get to make a lot of use of them, two things that I REALLY liked about my room were the presence of a fridge and microwave. Finally, an oddity was that though there's a safe in the room, it was locked, so I couldn't open it and put my stuff in it, as I normally would since I arrived very late, it didn't seem worth the hassle to try to find someone to open it when only one person was on duty. I would definitely stay here again.

I had originally booked at this hotel because it was close to the airport I did not know the area at all had to stay there the 1st night. I ran out of there the next morning. Must say the staff was very nice, friendly and accommodating but the hotel itself is more like a "redlight" motel! It was in a desolate location near the airport with nothing around. I travelled just a few miles up the road and came into the heart of Lynchburg, Va. ( a great little college city/town!) and found great hotels right in town for the same amount of money!!!!

Rooms are clean nice renovation friendly host my story was pleasent and quiet it will be my stay in the present my me fill at home we love it keep up the good work.

The room was adequate for the purposes. However, the advertisement stated that there was a 24 hour shuttle to the airport. There wasn't. While it is ~ 1 mile to the airport as the crow flies, it is a lot longer walk - which wasn't pleasant at 5:30 in the morning in January.

We chose this hotel as a night stopover on our way from NJ to TN. The main reason for choosing this hotel were its location and the hot breakfast in the morning. The hotel upkeep is good. There are no elevators in the hotel. The breakfast was good with eggs, biscuits and cereals. We were satisfied with our stay for one night.

Stayed 2 nights. First night was okay. Second night was horrible: there was a party going on all night long - bikers revving their engines constantly. Cars, coming and going at all hours of the night. We called down to front desk and complained at 12:30 am and still the party continued. Why would management let any party take place in a hotel like this? We did not sleep well and did not feel safe in our room. I will not patronize this hotel again.

This motel is under renovation. The walls are newly painted in restful shades. The faux hardwood floor looks much better than the old dark green carpet that used to be on the floor. The furniture is excellent quality and the drapes are nice and complement the wall colors. The visit would have been better if one of the sheer window curtain panels wasn't missing, so I could let in natural light. The walls are thin so it's great if the people next to you are quiet. Lastly, I encourage the service to check the clock. The clock in my room was off by 2 hours and 15 minutes.

We arrived at the hotel at 12:30am only to find out that they didn't have a clean non-smoking room with a king bed as we had booked. They did have 5 that had not been cleaned yet- not sure how you still have 5 not cleaned by midnight. They could offer smoking or pet rooms. This was not an option due to allergies. So we left and stayed at the Courtyard down the road. The one positive is they refunded our money in a timely fashion.

This Quality Inn was a very nice place to stay. My interaction with all the staff was very pleasant, room was clean/comfortable (did require additional towels for all guests). I did appreciate being able to connect to the internet and the breakfast was GREAT too! I will be returning to stay at this Quality Inn at some point and hope that my next visit will be as pleasant as this/my first visit.
