too much contact at check in. Prefer touch less. The room was OK, (very quiet) just very dated furniture. The worse thing was the sheer curtains. Impossible to block out parking lot lights at night. BTW - if we had a wheel chair using guest - it would be impossible to access the BR.
A box of tissues would have been nice.
Ok
Internet did not for the 2 nights we stayed. It was difficult for business. Also an incident with an unruly gentleman causing us to feel unsafe. Staff was excellent and tried to accommodate us as best as they could. Love it otherwise
It is inexpensive. Room itself had been remodled since my last visit, clean, new bathroom fixtures, designed more for long stays, by temporary workers than overnight guests - lots of drawers, big for motel refrigerator, microwave, A/C worked, got down to 64 by 1:00 am, heater did not, put on clothes to get warm. Street noise, but am a city boy, so did not bother me. Next to Spark's big firehouse. FINE PRINT - a $180 security deposit - cash or credit card. Background checks if you are staying a week or more (probably credit check, if they have an in with police dept, maybe a criminal records check as well). Room smelled musty, even with A/C on, worse when it was off, all my gear, and me smelled musty when I left. BUT, if alone, for one night, just to sleep, I will do it again. Nugget is a bit more expensive - rate plus big "resort fee", and much nicer, but it can be a 10 minute walk from parking to room, lugging your own luggage, and at Victorian you park right out side your room.
While I didn't expect anything fancy the dirty, worn and stained carpeting was obvious even with the dim light provided by the yard sale lighting fixtures with single setting CFL bulbs in three way sockets. There was also a $150 dollar deposit charged against my credit card which is supposed to be removed but was previously disclosed, that I noticed. This place just screams old, worn and don't care (telephone in room that's dead, TV not working during my visit).
This is a lovely inn. It was clean and well appointed. I’m a little confused by the floor numbering system, but was otherwise completely satisfied with my stay.
Everything was OK stayed there several times will continue to do so
Easy access to the freeway. Walkable to a major casino and restaurant. Good quick stop motel with reasonable prices..
Convient to the Freeway yet fairly quiet. Economy but clean, nicely maintained, and had coffee in room, frig, micro, ETC
The room was clean and comfortable. I had my dog with me so having tile floors was a nice touch and added to the cleanliness of the room. My only complaint with this place is that the man at the front desk was a completely miserable character. He was rude and not at all helpful or welcoming in any way. When i called to ask to check out 30 minutes later than regular check out, he lectured me like I'm a child
Everything good the only issue I had was with Orbitz I thought the hotel room was already paid and then I got hit for $150 deposit other than that everything was fine
Run down room No carpet Bottle shattered on floor in the dark Won’t stay here again
Common areas were dirty. The room was tired and run down. New linen is needed. My wife ( a retired police officer ) felt unsafe staying there.
The small room has been nicely updated with nice furnishings and blackout shades. Bathroom very small so no more than one person can use the restroom to get ready for bed or the day. It was pretty quiet, which made it a pleasant stay.
