Despite the general high rating from customers, I found this hotel quite average in almost every aspect across the board. Cleanliness was average. Appearance and size were average. Amenities were run of the mill. It was like a Motel 6 that wasn’t too run down. Not bad but not great either.

very nice hotel - was very pleased with it, very nice touches to everything. right next to sparks marina, where you can walk, play on the playground, take a pic next to the "Sparks" sign. i would definitely stay here again. right off the highway, parking was very easy, very safe area, right next to a fuddrucker's,etc.

It seems to be an older hotel, but has been very nicely updated. The staff at the hotel and casino restaurants were very friendly and helpful.Great housekeeping staff! Really good restaurants in the casino! People we know in Reno were skeptical about us staying there as it used to be a little bit of a rundown area. I think it’s changing. It is on the west side of the Sparks Marina Park lake. On the other side of little lake is the Outlet mall and the big Scheels sports store. There are a large number of restaurants in area too. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again!

Nice and friendly staff. Very old and a little run down. Our room had a very foul odor (like a broken sewage pipe?) and also smelled of cigarettes (even though smoking is not allowed in the rooms). The beds and pillows were not super comfortable, and our AC didn't work very well. The property itself is decent, but could use some updates.
