Didnt like the casino there. It was very small. The tv was old. every thing was old. no modern amenities.
The casino attached overflows to the hotel in terms of a smoky atmosphere and late-night room noise from neighbors coming in at 1 or 2 in the morning and turning on their TV
The room was too noisy because it was near the railway. The bathtub stained and only had conditioner without shampoo there. I would never stay in this hotel ever again.
Got there around 8pm and checked in easily. A little disappointed that the diner was closed and it was posted that it was open until 9pm. Ended up in the casino short order cafe which was decent and priced right. We ate it in the room because the casino smelled so much like cigarettes and we don't smoke. The meal was consumed in the room and we got a good night sleep. Up early and back on the road at 7am feeling rested.
The bathroom was not good. As soon as we walk in the toilet was stained like it gets clean once in a while. That's the worst part of our trip. Everything else is ok.
Room was dingy, needs a remodel very much. Was supposed to have queen beds, got doubles, and extremely uncomfortable. I would not recommend
The staff was very friendly, and accommodating. The hotel is very old and needs updating. The parking area is sum what scary. I left my car hoping that it would be there in the morning. It is close to downtown, and UNR.
located in a bad neighborhood, halls smelled like smoke, rooms did too, no complimentary breakfast. The hotel staff were really trying hard to leave a good impression though!
Hotel was dirty and unpleasant place to stay. Room was not properly cleaned, carpet was dirty, there were food crums and paper from candies on the floor. TV probably was 20 years old, you can't find this kind of a TV at stores anymore. The picture and sound were not clear in the TV. The computer chair was not adjustable. Sealer around the door was pealing off, you can even see the nail. When you close the door, there was a little gap.
The room is clean, but hall way, elevator looks tired and old, need some renovation to give a fresh look.
Lobby furniture was dirty and stain rooms had stains on the floor and bed was very uncomfortable hard as a rock. Found what look like a tick on the curtain. Need to hire more shuttle drivers or get bigger shuttle buses to hold more people. Over all will not recommend or stay here again.
wifi doest work, key doest work properly. television too old
I had little expectation for the price - 2 - 2 1/2 stars - due to location. Quite a crappy/shady neighborhood, no restaurants nearby, nothing around you can walk to except the Chevron gas station on the corner. Room and bathroom decent, clean, bed ok, pillows could be better, tv is old (not flat screen) and remote control functions don't work, gap in curtain (light comes in). Dinner was a step above TV dinner but breakfast was good. Price ok. 24 hr Diner in Casino has very reasonably priced 'take out' food. I never tried it so I can't say if it's good or not. Pet friendly. We were given a room at the very end of the hall with kind of a secluded entrance. Someone knocked on our door, we asked who they were since we were not expecting anyone and they said 'oh sorry, wrong room'! I had a bad feeling about that incident. We came for a wedding, we are seniors and not gamblers. We just wanted a bed.
Very smoky throughout the entire facility and the area was a little sketchy. Lots of homeless people and heavy police presence in the parking lot and around the area.
It is a OK place to stay if you are just looking for room and location. If you are a gambler, then you should consider a different property. It reeks of smoke and the few "Players" look like they just left a homeless shelter. The rooms are ok, but a bit "tired". The area of the Ramada is questionable. A plus is that there is no problem with parking and the wifi was very good.
Room was clean didn't smell bad would of been better if it had a small fridge and microwave beds need updated to something a little more comfortable
went to check out hotel for hot august night stay for the price the hotel is nice
Will not stay here or recommended to others.....................................................................................................
Really more of a 2-2.5 star hotel. no seating area in the room, the bed was small, maybe full-size, and the tv was still a tube style. All employees we dealt with were pleasant. The price was very reasonable sometimes, you get what you pay for.
It't ok except location. The parking is not in safety.
