We come to Reno once a year. We always stay at La Quinta. They allow me to bring my little dog. They don’t even charge me for him. No parking fees they even allowed us to get in early. I always tell everybody to stay at La Quinta in Reno. Will be back

The receptionist was not wearing a mask or gloves. When I couldn't get the AC to work she told me too bad - the maintenance man wasn't around (it was a simple fix). The lights were hard to operate. The premises were dirty. When I checked in the receptionist was very unhelpful when I asked her to add this visit to my points balance. All in all - not a visit I would want to repeat.

The room was not properly cleaned, and we had to do our own cleaning before taking up our luggage. Also, there are hardly any outlets in the room to charge phones, laptops, etc....The room is dated but if it were clean, the fact that it was an older motel would not matter.

We stayed in a room that the entry key was not working. They had to call the manager and he couldn't open the door. We got locked out twice the same day, spent over 2 hours trying to open the door. The manager said he would credit half of our stay and its been two months and he didn't even know how to credit my credit card.

the room smelled like dog urine. there was mold in the bathroom. we checked in late and were exhausted so we didn't ask for another room. we just slept and left early. i did report the problems and the front desk staff seemed to care.

So convenient to the airport and easy shuttle service.

I liked the location which was so close to the Reno Airport. I was not pleased that their airport shuttle service didn't begin until 5:30 am. My flight was boarding at 5:30 so I had to take a taxi to get to the airport. There were some slight cleaning problems in the bathroom and the room was showing some wear.

The property is old and showing its age. The walkways had crumbling cement - more as the rule than the exception. My room had significant housekeeping issues - including a hotel washcloth with dried blood on it hanging from the door handle (how did the housekeeper miss that, since she had to go out that same door?) Box spring did not fit the frame. Top mattress did not fit the box spring. Maintenance issues included leaky faucets on the tub and a closest door handle that had been mostly torn out and was hanging by a single screw.

We did not stay here, although our reservation was months in advance. We called from the airport for a shuttle and were told that there was "none that evening." We had to take a short cab ride (which upset the cab driver) and upon arrival was told that they could not accomodate us because of plumbing problems. They had arranged a room at the nearby Sure Stay Hotel and, of course, we had to take the cab there. They could not tell me why they didn't tell me this when I called initially. They also did not offer to pay for the cab fare! We will not return here.

Location near the airport and dog friendliness make this a good budget choice. However, the advertised airport shuttle does not exist. Staff have apparently been instructed to act as though it is only unavailable at the specific time you ask, but it is just not available. Property needs maintenance. It has a generally run down appearance, but it is cheap. Room was clean and staff were nice. Breakfast options were pretty good (waffles, microwavable sandwiches, etc.). Plan on about $8 plus tip for taxi or ride share app trip to or from airport.

They over booked and told me at 11:30 pm to find another hotel sorry.

They Advertise a shuttle to and from the airport. There was none when I flew in 2 weeks ago. Still none. This property is rather run down, but I booked here in part because of the shuttle. Staff are nice.

Worst motel experience possible. Even with a prepaid reservation guaranteed by Orbitz we were told, No rooms available, go away. Not that unhappy after looking at the place which looked like a major dump. They would not give us a refund based on a fabricated story saying that their computer system showed that we had booked thru Expedia (it was Orbitz), that we had paid cash in advance (I used a credit card via Orbitz / internet months in advance), and that cash-advance rooms could not be held or refunded after 6 or 7 pm (we had a “reservation guaranteed” room). In short, this garbage, shoddy motel overbooked, took our money and then made up a false story to cover their backsides. Not just bad, it was theft.

The absolute worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. I called 3 months ago to verify I could check out late and that they had a shuttle service to the airport before booking because its just my 14 month old at I without a car. They assured me I could and that they do have a shuttle service. When I checked in i also verified this information. We get here and find out both shuttle drivers are off and I have to be out by noon per the manager. They say they can pay for my cab because they were at fault. I thank them and set off in the cab to the airport. Of course I arrive and the cab driver asks for payment. He said no one told him the hotel was paying. So I call the hotel again and they said they don't pay for taxis. I asked to speak to the manager and she refused to come to the phone. Absolutely mind blowing how terrible the service is here.
