Comfortable home

We are construction workers working from out of state and after working long hours it was nice to stay at a very comfortable home. There was plenty of room very everyone and the beds were great.

I'm going to share our personal experience and our personal opinions based on a four night stay. The AC barely worked downstairs and didn't work upstairs. This didn't seem to be a new issues since the upstairs bedrooms had pedestal fans in the closet. There was an ant infestation with ants in two of the three bathrooms and all over the kitchen, as well as the entire patio area. You couldn't put anything on the kitchen counter without ants swarming it. And the hot tub had been so overchlorinated that it wasn't safe to use. The chlorine gas made your eyes burn and turn red if you took the lid off and was even close to it. We have a hot tub and are very familiar with the dangers or over chlorinating. We reported all of these issues to the host and got an "I'm sorry" email but there was no follow-up and nothing happened to address any of the issues reported. We sprayed the kitchen with Raid and it helped some but we still couldn't use the kitchen because of the ants. The pictures look MUCH nicer than the house does in person too. The carpet needs to be replaced because I don't think it's possible to clean it. There are multiple stains throughout and the edge of rooms have a dirt ring around them. There was a hole in the floow beside one of the beds upstairs. If we had seen pictures that looked like the house does in person, we would never have rented it. And based on our experience with the host, we will never return to this property or any other that they manage.
