I have stayed here for years but fear that the hotel is getting very run down. Gym closed. I was warned that cars were getting broken into to in the parking lot, shouldnt there be better security then?.

We were there for just one night. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was nice and clean.

The hotel is good, easy access, and in a good location. Here are minor annoyances I experienced even though i pre-paid for my stay: 1> Breakfast was included but requires vouchers and they were not included by default and requires you to stand-in-line at front desk each morning. 2> In room coffee creamers, sugar etc, were not replaced and I had to call in each morning of my stay. 3> The wall mounted air conditioner temperature sensor was either not good or somehow it was not kicking-in, making the room hot each night until mid-night when it would cool off. It also required to manually adjust the temperature setting on AC twice or thrice in each night.

Nice quiet room but no complimentary breakfast - mistakenly assumed it was included but found out AFTER having eaten the not-so-great buffet it was NOT - disappointing

Clean, quite, and a restaurant if you don't feel like venturing out. If you do, there are a few restaurants within walking distance.

Very friendly staff. Room was nice and clean but in need of an update. Good distance to lassen volcanic national park. Overall I would stay here again.

Overall, the experience was wonderful. The service as well as the room were excellent.

We booked a 2 queen room for a family visit over a long weekend and were happy with what we got. You need key card access to even enter the building so it's extremely safe and secure. Would book again.

I drove my daughters car from Seattle to LA for her new job. Redding was the halfway point on the map for the first day of driving. Hotel was right next to the freeway, surrounded by restaurants within walking distance, and nearby gas stations to fill up. Building was a little dated, but so am I. Hit the road early the next morning on time, but a bit hung over. Would stay there again.

warm and professional staff, spacious and comfortable room. breakfast served by eager waiter and perfect location.

Booked it on other online reviews and was not disappointed. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Reception was welcoming. Freeway noise was negligible. (Bring a clothespin to secure the drapes, though - I have one in my suitcase at all times). Central location, close to food and all Redding's retail. Would absolutely stay again.

The hotel had a king bed for 3 adults?? not sure why or how that happened. That normally means 2 beds in a room. They did give me the roll away for free but it was not what I had hoped for. The hotel was very noise, had sports teams staying and no one controlled them running up an down halls until after midnight. The room was nice clean, but the noise was a problem. The hotel security should handle and make everyone visit good. The morning staff in restaurant was slow and not courteous.

This was a one night stop on way home. Very quiet.

Convenient Location directly off I-5. Made a quick stop here on our road trip back to Oregon from the Bay Area. Clean room, comfortable bed, no frills. Perfect place when all you need is a few hours of sleep.

The Holiday Inn was a great choice for us. We were making a quick trip up and back to visit an elderly relative in a care home. There were five of us in the room - three adults and two small children. The room was large, spotlessly clean, and quite comfortable. It included a microwave, a small, personal refrigerator, and a one-cup-at-a-time coffeemaker. The bathroom was small but clean, with an extra sink and countertop in the entrance to the room. In addition, it was very quiet while we were there (keep in mind that the Inn was not full, and it was the middle of winter, so there was no one using the pool). The only drawback was that we received a wake-up call at 6 a.m. that was for another room. For this inconvenience (that woke up our small children), they comped our breakfast. The restaurant in the Inn was the best place we ate at the entire weekend!

Reserved a deluxe room, and they didn't want to give it to me because of a pet. They advertised pet friendly, and only begrudgingly accepted the dog. Every member of the staff I talked to was curt and unfriendly. Asked for a rollaway bed and it took over an hour to deliver.

Great place to stay, very clean, comfortable, and convenient. They even had dryers to dry wet snowboard clothes!

nice visit nice room , spendy, was 144 for 1 night

We had little visitors in the room (insects), which was very disapointing.

The hotel was quite comfortable. I liked the dark wood and the lobby was nicely decorated. The air conditioner in our room made a strange whiney sound. The sink in the bathroom had no counter space, fortunately there is a sink with a large counter outside of the bathroom which we used. The toilet is right next to the bathtub, a bit akward I thought. It is nice to have a refrigerator but it is quite small. We did not use the restaurant facilites so I can't comment on them. We noticed the cleaning staff was working with some Developmentally Delayed employees. They seemed to be very patient with them and that warmed our hearts.
