Not being familiar with the area, I chose this hotel out of several that were in the vicinity I was interested in. For a single night's stay, it turned out to be a nice hotel for being located right in the downtown area.

We were passing through Redding and stayed here only for one night with our big dog. Looks a bit outdated on the outside but the room looked surprisingly modern with pergo flooring. The room was a bit small and the walls a bit thin but for the price, it was definitely adequate and did the job. Check in process was very quick. There was a complimentary breakfast offered to us, however, we did not take advantage of it. There are plenty of food options within walking distance. We walked our big guy around the area at night and did not feel unsafe but stayed very alert the whole time as there were many lone individuals cruising around. Overall, good experience and would definitely stay here again.

I've stayed here at least 8 times in the last two years, but it's beginning to get a little worn out. Initially I could get a room on the bottom floor for easy unloading. But now I am told at the desk at check in, I must "request" a bottom room at the time of reservation. No one asked that question, or any question like "is there anything else I can answer for you?" When I said I was a regular, zero response. So, as always, it turns out it's the little things that get us to either like or dislike something. Granted, it's a great price at $78 for the night. But the place is beginning to fall into the "you get what you pay for" category. Keep your expectations reasonable if staying here.

Short stay in Redding. This was a clean, convenient hotel that offered a great price. Bed was comfortable.

I really wanted to like this place. Redding is my home town and I have been happy to see the revitalization of it's downtown. The price and location of this hotel was perfect for me. The room looked new and I really thought it was great, at first. The problem was that I got eaten alive. We stayed there 3 nights and a week later, I still have over 20 bed bug bites on me. I have traveled the world, hiked through jungles, volunteered in 3rd world countries, and never had a run in with bed bugs. So although I knew something had bitten the heck out of me, it wasn't until we were headed back home that I realized it must be bed bugs. After doing a lot of research, there is no doubt in my mind. These are unlike any bites I have had before, and they all showed up in the morning after sleeping in room 216. Too bad, I really thought we'd found a good place to stay when I visit my family.

We were very pleasantly surprise with this hotel. The staff was awesome and very helpful. The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. The pool was very inviting and they are located next door to an awesome Mexican restaurant, with very authentic food.

Close to restaurants; served our purpose which is a pretty good place spend yhe night for our 4 states road trip!

A motel-like facility in a noisy area. The room was ok, but the fridge hadn't been cleaned out from previous guests and the water pressure and wifi was weak. The AC unit is oddly placed in the closet area, where the air is partially cut off by a divider wall. We didn't bother bringing it up with staff because the woman who checked us in was testy as all get out, like we had bothered her at her house. Free breakfast had been a selling point when selecting this lodge, but all they offered was basic bread/bagels/danishes and cheap cereal.

This hotel isn't bad. The room is a good size for one person or a very affectionate couple. The furniture is contemporary and appears to be new. The bed is pretty comfortable. Offers free WiFi and few continental breakfast options (bring your on butter, they have several jam options). The location is central to most things in Redding. The drawbacks are a noisy toilet, limited parking and thin walls, so pack your earplugs.

The staff were amazing, the hotels were absolutely immaculate. The noise was the worse I have ever experienced at a hotel, which is saying a lot because I spend time on location sites for oil rigs. This was far noisier than that!

Easy quick check in. Hotel staff nice. Air conditioner is really old and made lots of noise. It was a good one night stay.

Nice place to stay but there's about 8 dumpsters right nextdoor that are serviced at 6:00am on Tue. morning. The engine, dumping and back up sirens of the truck woke my whole family.

Room was nice and clean. Comfortable bed. TV with plenty of channels to chose from. Decent continental breakfast. Swimming pool is a plus. Good reasturants right across the street.

This hotel felt safe. It wasn't in a loud area, and it was quite close to a LOT of good eats. The bed wasn't the greatest thing in the entire world but it wasn't horrible. My wife and I summed up our feelings on the room by saying multiple times: It's just clean. No nasty spider webs in the corner or dust everywhere or dirt... It was just very clean. Which was comforting for sure! If you're in the area and you don't need a 15-star hotel, stay here!!

ThIs served us well as we were attending events in the city of Redding.

Stayed at this hotel during our recent visit to Burney falls. Overall it's an okay place to stay for a night. Major problem was with the Air conditioner making rattling noise the whole night.

Convenient place with continental breakfast and a Mexican restaurant just next door when visiting Redding, CA and nearby attractions: Whiskeytown NP with hiking trails to waterfalls for family from easy to moderate levels, Shasta Dam with free tour, Sundial Bridge and more.

I THOUGHT THIS HOTEL WAS VERY NICE ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE, AWAY FROM NOISY FREEWAYS. THE CLERK WAS NOT VERY FRIENDLY NEVER SMILED AND DID NOT SEEM TO CARE THAT WE WERE THERE. TELEPHONE IN ROOM DID NOT HAVE AND NUMBERS TO CALL FOR SERVICE, NO BOOKLET TO TELL US ANYTHING ABOUT HOTEL, COULD NOT FIND WHERE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST WAS SERVED NO ONE ANSWERED BELL AT FRONT DESK. VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE BED.

Very nice and cozy hotel.its in the center of town, close to restaurants, easy off and on to highway .definitely recommend

One night stay was OK. Shower did not drain properly
