Room was really well decorated and had a lot of charm. Burgers at the Ale House were below average.
Got to hotel to check in it was closed up door locked called several times no answer had to find another place to stay.
This hotel is one of my favorite places when heading towards the coast. Great bar right next to the rooms with a surprisingly good whiskey selection at great prices! Rooms are fantastic for the price. Check it out! You won’t regret it!

This hotel was a very unexpected surprise. it's a little gem in the middle of nowhere definitely worth an overnight stay. We stayed overnight here from driving the Oregon Pacific Coast heading to Seattle.
Pitchwood Inn & Alehouse is within the area of popular sights such as Westport Marina and Long Beach. This 8-room, 3-star inn has a restaurant along with conveniences like free in-room WiFi and free self parking.

Glad to hear you were happy with your motel room but I will say I'm surprised to hear the burger was below average. To my knowledge we are not doing anything different and our burgers have always had great reviews. I need to investigate this further and advise that we greatly appreciate your input.

Our sincere apologies that this happened to you. There are no excuses but I'd like to explain if I may. Our staff member left for the night without making sure there were any check-ins for the motel. If you make your reservation the day of your check-in and you arrive past 9 pm it's possible we don't know about the reservation as staff has all left for the day. We realize this is unacceptable and are trying to come up with a solution which will work with our unique situation. Covid has put a substantial strain on us, from shortened open hours to half motel capacity and a shortage of income to warrant extra night staffing. Again, sorry for your inconvenience.
