It's good for a one night stay. It wasn't bad and not the best. The room overall was clean just some touch ups is needed. Poor patch up jobs with holes in the wall. The bed is sleepable. The only thing that made the stay wonderful was the lady at the front desk.

Drinks were good and made of quality ingredients. Staff was all very helpful and kind. We didn't eat breakfast there, but next time probably. It may not be open until 9am which is late for us. Room was clean. Price was excellent for location and convenience. Pool was clean.

The hotel is located almost on the Malecon (the waterfront boardwalk). There are excellent restaurants, and bars very close. The only negative was the power in the room is accessed using your room key. I should have gotten two keys so I could have the A/C on when I was not in the room. The room would be very warm and took a long time to cool down. I did not use the pool, but it looked nice but very small. I did eat dinner & breakfast, and the food was okay nothing special. I was only here one night, but I thought that the price and location made the hotel a place I would come again.

It’s an older property but well maintained. The bed was comfortable and has a nice pool. We had a view of the ocean right down the street from our balcony and a restaurant on site. It’s located a block off the malacon, so a perfect location and close to some great shopping. Only a few blocks away from the Señora de Guadalupe church. The front staff were very friendly and helpful.

Hotel Rio Malecon is a great hotel! Friendly staff and an excellent restaurant, Coexist Bistro (Italian/Mexican). The property itself is a little dated but the rooms are very clean, the beds are comfy and the air conditioning works great! There is a unique pool and lounge area in the courtyard too! You can't beat the location right on the malecon with tons to do and see all within walking distance. See you soon!

The staff was very friendly, check in and out was easy and very informative. It was nice to get my laundry done. Any place I wanted to go to was in walking distance. The only things I didn't is that the restaurant wasn't open on Monday and there wasn't access to a ice machine after it closed, also the piol wasn't open 24 hours.
