Got to hotel at 4pm and room was not ready. We wanted to be on the same floor as friends but instead of saying there was no rooms of that type available - they confused us by saying other things. Front desk was not friendly. The hotel facilities were nice except a lot of convention traffic wish meant pools were not available since they were being used for parties. The hot tub was way too hot. I own a hottub and you should never have it over 103 and swear this one was at 106, if not higher. Stayed in suites and at midnight there was a fire warning to evacuate the facility. Of course, there was no fire but it appeared it had been triggered by the construction work going on. For the price would have probably stayed somewhere else.

All went well. I had a wonderful stay. The staff is very peasant, the plcae is very secure.

I loved it. The hotel was a quick drive from the airport, and right on a main street, yet once inside, you were in a "resort" with multiple pools, hot tubs, bars, restaurants, and a terrific beach that was well-attended by the staff. The lobby was a bit clubby for me at night, but certainly fun. Food was very good. The hotel was also pretty close to old San Juan -- we walked about 3 miles but by cab it would've been 5-10 mins only.

Nice beach. The breakfast buffet is good, lots of selection however a little bit pricey, but comes with coffee. Room is good, I had a ocean view, good shower. This place is a little dated, I would stay here again and would recommend to friends. The lobby bar is also cool. Locations is good for going out. Bars and local restaurants close by. Next time I would make sure I get a room with the patio.

Nice hotel. Just make sure you throughly inspect your bill before departure. An unknown charge was on my bill, but the issue was resolve asap..

All went well, especially after the front desk helped us to upgrade to a two-room suite. Don't think we would have enjoyed our stay as much had we not moved from the room we originally had to a suite. The Perla restaurant was outstanding. The food and service were great. Hotel also in a tremendous location. Easy to walk to restaurants and to catch the hop-on hop-off bus right outside the door. Would stay there again, if we can get a suite.

Hotel is ok, works for very short stay will not stay there for vacation. rooms are not the cleanest, service is average. Nice location close to lots of restaurants and bara. Amenities over packed - AC problems does not cool lower than 71. Reception does not answer the phone and food is extrnely overpriced. A quesadilla, and 2 drinks $80. Has a sushi bar could not try since it was closed until after 7, also casino is very dead.

On the Beach, Nice pools, Great views! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. They gave us excellent recommendations on places to eat and see. This hotel has something for everyone. You can walk everywhere - right out your hotel to the good shopping and lots of amazing local authentic restaurants and it is totally safe. The casino is in the hotel and was awesome. The locals are friendly and taught up how to play craps for hours. The downstairs lobby bar was pretty hopping all night. The view from our room was amazing, there are pelicans flying by constantly. We had a junior suite and our room was spacious, clean and the bed was the most comfortable bed I ever slept in. I would highly recommend this hotel!

This is our 3 consecutive staying at La Concha to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The only complaint is how warm it is in the rooms. The AC doesn't go lower then 68 degrees which is not cold enough. But besides that, we really enjoy La Concha .

Our 3rd stay here. Location is very nice and place has a great vibe, great pool areas. Rooms vary- some are quite large and others much less so. This is the second time we got a small, odd shaped room (this one having no furniture except the bed/nightstands), despite booking an ocean room deluxe. Cleaning service was quite spotty- staff came late (or missed us one night entirely). If you asked the front desk to send cleaners, it was done well. Otherwise, very hit or miss. Not what one expects from a top notch property.

My room was in the second tower which I presume was constructed in the 70s or 80s but hasn't been renovated for a while like the original mid-century building. The service was very slow in the bars and restaurants and the elevator in the second tower was out of service the entire time making any trip back up to your room a 15 minute trip on average. The location however can't be beat and the rooms although dated, were very spacious.

The hotel was clean, up to date, offered entertainment in the bar/lobby.

Love this hotel, the room, the location, the friendly staff, very clean, beautiful pools

Power was out in rooms for 2days. But the Hotel manager took 50% off for the 2days

The hotel is located in a busy noisy area given a city view. The back of the hotel is on and faces the beach. The beach is beautiful.

Great atmosphere. The pools and the beach were beautiful and clean.

At check in the hotel was having a rare issue which took them a few hours to solve. We had to be manually let into our room the first night. Everything else was excellent

This hotel was clean and the staff was helpful. It's extremely close to the beach...It's actually on the beach. My husband and I saw the sunrise one morning--beautiful!! The only thing is that food at the hotel is pricey, but there are many places nearby to eat. We even requested a microwave to warm up leftovers and housekeeping brought it to our room. I have no complaints.

We have been back to PR 3 times in the past 4 years and have always stayed here at the La Concha. We will continue to do so and will recommend to our family and friends.

Everything was cool; very clean and hotel motif was very sleek and modern. The only drawback, which is major, was a leak in the AC unit located in our room. There was a huge puddle of wet carpet upon entry to the bathroom. I usually do not make a big deal of things but it was not only gross because it began to smell weird but it was dangerous as well. I would forget it was wet in the morning when I woke up and almost slipped and fell as soon as I stepped onto the tiled bathroom (I have pictures). We reported the leak right after that happened and when we returned to the hotel after our day out, they told us it was fixed. Needless to say, we returned to our room and the carpet was still wet; and so was the leak (for the next two days!). We ended up sucking it up because we did not want to waste our limited time on the same issue they did not fix to begin with. For the amount of money they charge, I would not recommend this place to anyone. We already talked about visiting Puerto Rico however plan to perhaps stay in Viejo San Juan instead.
