A good choice for business trip or family events to visit in Puebla. Not a vacation hotel. It has many restaurants and good places to go near. Highly recommended for a weekend in Puebla but not by staying in the room or the hotel at all.
we were 5 (3 cildren) in 4 beds room. Little crowded but since we arrived at 19:00 and lefr at 9:00 the next day it was OK. The breakfast is avarage, free coffee and tea all day, the rooms are clean. the hotel is 20 minutes walking from Estella de Puebla (the big wheel). lots of resturants around for dinner. the staff was very helpfull.
The hotel, rooms and all facilities are very clean and functional. The room is smaller than most, but big enough for one person ona business trip. The complimentary breakfast had at least two hot options, cold cuts, cereals and fruit. Orange juice and the usual hot beverages. It's comfortable enough. And I will stay there again.
The hotel is located in the Angelopolis area of town so it is convenient to restaurants, shopping, movie theaters, etc. A grocery store is across the parking lot and there are multiple restaurants that share the parking lot (Brazilian steakhouse, Peter Piper Pizza and a local place). Rooms are clean and front desk staff are nice. They offer a variety of room set-ups but I can tell you about the master suite and regular suite rooms since I have stayed in both on this stay. However, you should know that all suites are on the side of the building that faces a night club that goes until at least 2 in the morning. You can feel the bass beat from your bed and hear the patrons singing along to the music...sigh. Opt for a different style of room if that won't work for you. So, more about the 2 types of suites...The master suite is not even advertised on their website but it is available by request-It includes 2 rooms- the bedroom has a pull-out sofa and king bed. The second room has a small kitchen with a full size fridge, microwave, blender, toaster, stovetop, etc. and another sofa (pull-out?), tv and coffee table. The regular suite is just one bedroom with a double bed and a pull-out sofa but does have a kitchenette area-dorm fridge, microwave, coffee maker and sink, as well as a bistro table w/2 chairs and a built in desk area. Also, be aware that the "free shuttle" they provide is not necessarily dependable (someone can hire it out for the day and then you are on your own). Also, the shuttle will only drop you off someplace close-They will not return to pick you up. All rooms have free wi-fi and it was pretty dependable during my stay.
Not a huge fan of the Hilton Express Concept but this place is awesome - very new and modern. Rooms are great with good views of the Volcano. No restaurant and only a makeshift bar but still very accommodating. as long they keep their prices reasonable I will keep going!
Good hotel but nothing special. If you want a decent clean room at a good price then this hotel fits the bill. Great view of the volcano. I have nothing bad to say just don't expect luxury accommodations.
I had a horrible time at this hotel. I prepaid with American Express two months prior to my arrival for two rooms. Everyday the hotel locked me out of my room and my friends out of theirs until I paid the bill. I showed them my receipt and my confirmation number every day and still the problem persisted. And they were not even polite about it, accusing me of trying to get out of paying in the room. I was promised by the manager that this situation would be resolved, but still was locked out of the room the same day. Finally they told me that yes, I had paid American Express for the room (I showed them my actual credit card payment with the charge on it). They told me that even though I had paid American Express, they never received the money. Mexican people are the most polite people in the world, but these folks were anything but and here is the worst part: I WAS EATEN ALIVE BY BED BUGS. THIS HOTEL IS INFESTED. I HAD WELTS ALL OVER MY BODY. I THOUGHT THEY WERE MOSQUITO BITEs BUT SAW THE BED BUGS ON THE SHEETS ON THE LAST DAY OF MY STAY. DO NOT STAY HERE. THIS IS PROBABLY THE WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD ------BED BUGS!!!!!!!!!!
