Stayed here for 5 nights and was happy with almost everything. The hotel itself is very idyllic and in a great shape! For that the hotel is right of the main road through Puebla I was surprised how neat and authentic everything looked. Check Process was good. Only downside is that their is no valet parking. So I had to exit the hotel again to park my car. I was brought to my room 312 and it was clean and spacious. Had a little balcony as well. Bathtub-Shower combo was ok as well. The room itself was however pretty dark.. even with lights on.. suggestion here: use LED bulbs... The bed was king size and very comfortable. Mattress was in great shape. Also the TV was huge.. had to be a 50” The closet was clean and had everything I needed in it.. (good quality hangers and a iron+iron board) The breakfast buffet was rich and fresh. Fruits selection was good as well. Also the bread and warm options were great. Downside here: the waiters are a little bit too present for my taste. While u eat they have u sign your breakfast tab. I think they should wait. Or while u eat they clear your table already with what they believe you don’t need anymore.. But overall they are very nice. Staff is very professional and the English skills were good too.. (my Spanish skills are bad) So yes... I enjoyed my stay and will be back.
Large complex with multiple buildings that were a bit confusing. Service is good. Restaurant was outstanding. Rooms were dated and somewhat noisy. The pool area looked very pleasant. Bar area in lobby in addition to restaurants.
Impeccable Service! The most noteworthy parts of my hotel were the service and decor. Highly recommend. Excellent hotel! At breakfast, the server offered to carry my plate for me while I picked food at the buffet. Say what? That's never been offered in all my years of travel. Of course, I politely declined the offer but so honored that he did. The other cool service item. The bellman walked me to my room, unlocked the door, and introduced the amenities to me. That's not the norm for my travels anywhere else. Nice personal touch. Although I had a few problems, I would account those to user error. It was DEC, and I couldn't get the heat to work. Figured out the remote for heat. My fault. Other than that, the decor is remarkable! Ornate and impressive. I used the workout room. Spacious and well-stocked for abdomen work. Machine weights, free weights. The hotel is built into a hilly space which is why the bellman walked me to my room. Easy to lose your way the first time you're there. There is ample scenery. If you travel close to Puebla, stay here! Well-worth it! PS My only complaint woudl be the open-air lobby gets so cold in the early am and in the evening. Would be nice if they closed the front doors more often in the winter.
I have stayed there for 3 nights during a business trip. The area of the hotel is very large with a nice garden and pool area. It looked and felt safe, but at 2 am someone tried to get into my hotel room by force, which lowered my feeling of safety enormously. But maybe it was just some drunk hotel guest who did not find his room. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. Not very modern, but better than most other Marriott hotels. I highly recommend the breakfast. The buffet style breakfast huge and very delicious. Local Mexican food and international breakfast and a lot of exotic fruits and vegetables. I really loved it. I would definitely stay in this hotel again when I come back to Puebla. Highly recommended.
I stayed at the Marriott Puebla property recently during a business trip to Puebla. I was very satisfied with the hotel and the friendly , courteous staff. The hotel seems to be a property that might have been acquired by Marriott and is under renovation. The renovation work did not interfere at all with the quality of the stay. It has a main lobby and restaurant area with nearby buildings accessible by sidewalks and cobble stone drives. The property has a lovely villa feeling with nice vegetation (flowers, trees, bushes). Rooms are quite comfortable and clean with nice furnishings. The hotel restaurant made us a traditional local lunch which was delicious. We were fortunate to have access to the executive lounge, which had fresh fruits, breads, and fresh squeezed juices and made to order eggs. I will certainly stay here again on my next trip to Puebla.
I recently stayed here for a business trip to Puebla. The service was really good and the staff was able to speak English as well as Spanish. Francisco Sanchez was really helpful and friendly, he showed me around the complex and then explained how to use TV, AC, safe, etc. Overall a good experience.
The lobby, the restaurant, and the pool area are well decorated with stone, wood, and awesome lighting, one of the down sides is that the rooms are average and don't follow the same theme as the main building. Overall it's a good hotel, but the worse thing is that it's not wheelchair accessible, and of course, the same goes for strollers. The hotel has a lot of stairs with no elevators, and I only saw on ramp in the entire hotel. We have a 2 year old son, and getting around the hotel was very uncomfortable, I had to carry the stroller from the car to the room, then from the room to the restaurant, and also from the restaurant to the lobby (and then back).
I have the best time when I stay Marriott Puebla Hotel! Staff in the Executive section is friendly, warm and easy to talk to. They greet you with awesome smiles and enthusiasm by name every day and ready to assist with your needs. Good bar and great food!
I stay at this hotel very often when I travel to Puebla on business. After many stays I find that that the staff is ALWAYS extra friendly and supportive. I specifically want to name some who I encounter the most: -Erick -Edwin -Arturo -Lorena I also really enjoy the food, whether its a steak at Prime, or just a room service meal. It is always delicious and consistent. Lastly, the effort that the room cleaning staff puts in is clearly shown. They also go above and beyond as they will organize my things and fold my clothes. Last week when i stayed there, I was most impressed with Alejandra. She did a great job!
We visit this hotel for a sports tournament and we had an excellent experience because eventhought it was a crazy week for Puebla it was a delightful surprise staying there. Both buildings are great . But I like it best the old building , were we were staying . It was really nice very tipically sort of mexican hacienda , the rooms are spacious , beautiful gardens and views and they have like a little playground with swings and slides for the kids and for me the best of the best was the breakfast buffet all fresh and it seems like if it was made specially for you. Eventhought it seems far from many places . I recommend staying there by far.
