Great bed, comfortable, nice sized room, clean. Would go back!
Pictures are decieving. Hotel is on a super busy street, but tucked in behind a gas station. Not a very clean area. There was an rv permanently parked next to hotel on street. Weird. Room was ok. It was clean, but overall feel of room and hotel was it felt like a motel, and not quite a hotel. Price was right, but overall I wouldn't recommend.
Most of our stays are third party billing for our drivers on the road. Some of our drivers do not have credit cards and it took a ton of time because this hotel demanded a credit card and even though we had prepaid via Orbitz/AMEX. Many of our drivers do not have credit cards. This is the first time this issue has come up and there should be some exception for prepaid rooms.
Only free to park the nights you sleep at hotel nothing else. Before I booked room they said I can leave my cars there until I return back home from my trip for free. That's only reason stayed there. When I got there they said I have to pay for my 2days of free parking. Front desk lied to me.
The rooms are lovely and comfortable. The bed have a pillow-top style mattress but I noticed that the pillow top doesn't come all the way to the edge of the mattress. The pillows were all very full and pretty firm, so if you need a softer/flatter pillow, bring your own or prepare for a crick in the neck. None of us could use them. When we checked in we were told that both the hot tub and the pool were down--a disappointment. We stayed 5 nights and they never were open the whole time we were there. There was no real explanation of why they were down or how long it would take to fix whatever the problem was. I tried the fitness room. There was an elliptical machine, a treadmill, and a weight machine. The elliptical--well, the pedals go around but there was a very loud squawk and none of the lights came on. It didn't feel smooth at all. The weight machine (pulley-style where you stand up and pull) had only one handle. It was small and you couldn't use both hands on it without pinching your fingers. I didn't see any other handles that you could change out to do two-arm exercises, even though the pictures showed two-arm exercises. I did not try the treadmill. The breakfast was very very good and there was plenty of it. It was the same every day but enough variety so you can change out your breakfast if you stay several days (waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, etc). The room was clean and cleaning service was great, and front desk staff were very nice and helpful.
the breakfast area was well stocked and clean as well as the overall facility
This was by far the cleanest Hotel I stayed in..I loved how the sink and restroom are separate from each other...good job..other hotels always have a sour smell in their bathrooms..if they would wash the shower curtain it will help..Comfort Inns smells fresh and clean.. Will stay again when I come back to Portland..
Comfortable, clean, convenient. A little difficult to find from the major road nearby.
very large room (2 queens) with lots of extra space, plush mattress and very fine linens, quiet (back from street), lovely decor - plus their Stay/fly/park program allowed us to park our car in their secure lot for no extra charge for 14 days (i believe it can be for up to 21 days). Decent breakfast, too, and free shuttle pickup/return to airport. EXCEPTIONAL bargain!!!
Great hotel! Friendly staff! Clean room!
My wife and I recently spent 2 nights at this hotel. The rooms are good size but not the quietest. The breakfast for free was good but not great. Not the best hotel breakfast I have ever had but better than those with just cereal. Overall this hotel is a good value for what we paid.
Overall, the room was very nice and the bed was amazing! Please know the hotel is near a rail road track where we heard the train whistle once. Poor experience came from hotel not following through on the so called "courtesy" airport travel. Please note I called ahead to verify that there was no limitations to this "free" service. We arrived after midnight and the front desk staff stated the driver was just headed home. Therefore, I would need to get a taxi at my expense. After bringing it up with day time manager, he was not concerned and said that not all staff knows the hours of the shuttle. That response was unacceptable! Please know that you may not be guaranteed a"free" shuttle ride!!!!!
I liked the way the only access to rooms was through the front door, lobby. The room was great for our needs, bathroom large(3 women w/ lots of beauty products). The TV screen was not clear, probably needed to be replaced. The beds were comfortable. Pillows good. The reason we choose this hotel was the price( lower than downtown) and the breakfast. If we had it to do over we would have booked at a more expensive hotel( maybe a comfort inn in a different location ). It was in a depressed part of town and we had to take transportation at least 1/2 an hour to get anywhere, nice resturant, sightseeing,or anything on the wedding venue. Although convienent ( one reason we chose this hotel) was lacking. The good points: had boiled eggs, orange juice, bananas( only available 1day) ,clean room, toaster, eng muffins, butter, arisen bran. Points to be looked at: fresh oranges in fruit bowl were old, srivalled up, really un eatable. We brought this to the attention of food service worker and front desk person and the 5 days we were there the same oranges stayed in the bowl(????). The hot scrambled eggs and sausage patties were undesirable, too salty and really did not taste good or resemble eggs or sausage. We went there every morning. The coffee was weak and tasteless. The yogurt offering was awful. I don't mean favors, I mean quality. A suggestion: have some healthy offerings , better quality cereal , good quality whole grain bread, better quality pastries . Hot cereal in a crock pot, instead of the gravy offered. The room maids were great, we asked them not to do our room every day becaus we didn't need it and we didn't want to move our stuff around, but they supplied us w/ extra towels as needed.
For the most part, our stay was alright. Neither my husband or I slept well. It is a noisy hotel. We heard kids running, people talking & walking noises from the floor above us. The blower on the fan was very loud. Not a good night. The staff were very pleasant & helpfull. We were left one washcloth & one hand towel for two people. That was odd. We called the front desk & they brought us more pretty quickly. There were many choices for breakfast & overall, it was pretty good. Unfortunately, because of the noise problem, I don't think we will choose this hotel again.
My kids husband and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel during our visit in Portland
thought we book at different location, went to 3 different locations before check in, overall was a average stay
Close to great shopping (no sales tax)! The staff was friendly and extremely helpful.
Had to drive way out of the way to get across the freeway to get to this hotel. Hotel was clean, quiet and nice though, No plane noise
I've stayed here before and will stay again. Nice rooms, great staff. The pool looked a bit murky and no more bedtime cookies!! Please bring back the cookies!!
I stayed at this hotel with my daughter and both my parents. The location was ok, the area was not the best, but the hotel always seemed safe. The pool stayed open 24 hours so that was nice. Great breakfast. This is a good hotel for the price.
