Great house in excellent location

Really nice house in perfect location steps from the beach and close to town. The host Magdalena was very friendly, attentive, helpful and went beyond what we expected. We would love to return.

We had a great stay at Casa de los Angeles. The neighborhood was very quiet and conveniently located. The closest beach was our favorite in all of Playa del Carmen. It was not a terribly long want to 5th ave and the shops/restaurants there. It was very nice having the pool for the kids. We enjoyed that the rooms are on one side of the house across from the communal areas. Kitchen was well stocked. Highly recommend a stay here!

We had a wonderful stay at Magda’s beautiful Casa in Mexico! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The house was spotless, well-equipped, and full of charm. My family especially loved spending time in the pool—it was the perfect way to relax after exploring the area.The location couldn’t have been better. We were able to walk to all the attractions, restaurants, and activities we had planned, which made our vacation feel effortless and enjoyable. Whether it was the beach, local markets, or cultural sites, everything was just a short stroll away.Magda was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and genuinely cared that we had a great stay. La casa es preciosa. Ideal para unas vacaciones en familia. La comunidad está muy bien vigilada y en todo momento nos hemos sentido muy seguros. A unos pocos metros del mar...dormir con el sonido de las olas es una maravilla. La limpieza y atención de Claudia han sido de 10. Gracias por todo. Y Riviera es el paraíso en la Tierra...millones de actividades en un paraje único...la gente amabilísima...Maravillosas vacaciones

A lovely place to stay!!

This is a fantastic property, exactly as described and pictured. It was perfect for our group of friends, each bedroom lovely in its own way, and with a private bathroom. The living space is full of light and so comfortable for everyone to spread out and relax. The kitchen is well set up and we had quite a few meals at home. We loved the pool, particularly on the days when there was a lot of weed on the beach. We were able to walk downtown or catch cabs for anything further away so the location was great. Claudia was lovely and very helpful In every way.

Perfect relaxation spot in Playa

Just spent nine days at Casa de Los Angeles and couldn't have been happier with the house. It's actually so much of a hidden gem that I'm hesitant to even write this review! Incredible location just a block from the beach and a ten minute walk into town. If you're looking for a flashy contemporary, this probably isn't the place for you, but if you appreciate tasteful Mexican architecture you'll be right at home here. The three bedrooms are all on one side of the courtyard/pool with a breezeway connecting to the kitchen/dining/living room. It's hard to tell from the photos but the bedrooms each have their own bathroom. Perfect scenario for mixed groups where kids need to sleep and parents may want to stay up for a couple margaritas on the patio afterward. The pool is small but perfect for a nice dip after a day walking around town. Fully equipped kitchen with Viking range and Le Creuset cookware for those that may want to cook at the house. Claudia and her staff are beyond helpful in the most unobtrusive way as well, ready with restaurant or shopping recommendations but never in your face at all. Cleaning staff and maintenance man were flexible and did a great job whenever anything came up. In fact, we asked Claudia if there was a BBQ grill that we could fire up to make some skirt steak tacos. There wasn't, but to our delight a brand new charcoal grill appeared at the back door the following day. Needless to say, we will be back next year!

Perfect vacation

My partner and I stayed at casa los angeles for 10 days in april. Below is a summary of the pros and cons: PROS: -The house is stunning -It's incredibly clean -The yard is an oasis with a private pool and plenty of sun -It's located 2 minutes from the beach -The beach is also private, and the ocean is perfect for swimming in - not too choppy or rough -Casa los angeles is walking distance to 5th avenue -Claudia goes above and beyond to ensure you have everything that you need -You feel safe at all times CONS: -None, I plan on returning every year.

Most perfect home for our family vacation

We could not have hoped to find a nicer place than "Casa de Los Angeles" for our 2 weeks in Playa. Loved the location, the beautiful decor, the amenities, the unique view from the breakfast deck on the park, mayan ruins and local wildlife, the stunning ocean view from the upstairs bedroom, the fresh breeze in the house, the daily help of sweet Mima with cleaning and laundry and the private sunny pool, the soft and abundant towels, the "occitane" bathsoaps's and the nespresso coffee. We met the gracious owner and also the fantastic property manager Claudia, who has been available for everything we needed and more. We felt so at home ...if we could have....we would have purchased this home and never left. Thank you for a perfect stay.
