Lesson Learned

We arrived at the airport at 11:30and waited 40min for the hotel van to get us. The ride was dangerous. Low tire light on, the tire vibration was so loud we couldn’t talk to each other and we reached a speed of 82mph (verified through life 360). The room wasn’t clean, but it wasn’t filthy, just worn out. The next morning the breakfast had unripe fruit and fermented apple juice. Got our receipt for the stay just to find out we could have got the same room $30 cheaper had we NOT used Hotels.com and just called the hotel directly. Lesson learned.

Avoid even though it cheap!

The hotel is in a deplorable state. The halls are cluttered, the rooms have no sound barrier from hallway noise, they smelled dank and everything was sticky. Our room had no hot water in the shower and when we complained the first morning we were told it would be fixed. No one came and fixed it or even look at it. No communication from the front desk or an offer to move rooms. When we complained the next morning after check out, the front desk said that maintenance probably didn’t know how to fix it. So after a weekend of no showering her only additional comment was “that’s unfortunate for you” and handed me my receipt. Don’t stay here!!

Overall the property serves its purpose as a place to stay to catch a flight. The shuttle was on time and the driver was friendly. The only issue is that the hotel could be cleaned better.

Very good place to stay!

Great location with many restaurants and other amenities nearby. We ate at the abutting restaurant. They had awesome pizza and wings.

Don’t do it! I promise you’ll regret it

We had to stay in a double queen smoking room, which was fine but it was so stinky, and so dirty with tar and cigarette burns. It had not been properly cleaned in a long time. Just a build up of yellow and dust. Holes cut in walls and covered up. The beds were terrible with springs poking through. We did not have queen beds but doubles. The door didn’t even close correctly and left a large space at bottom for bugs and things to enter the room. The front desk man was very kind, said he couldn’t give us a non-smoking because none were available but gave us a can of air freshener for the room.

Service was fine, but the hotel room was very VERY old. Capet was sticky when walk over it bare foot. Bathroom old and tiny. sink was one of them semi-round and no cabinet under it. That explains why it was not on the list of "choiceHotels" group of hotels.

Parking was congested and difficult when arriving back from Pittsburgh. The room was not ready at time of check in. The bathroom needed to be repaired and updated.

We were not asked if we wanted a non-smoking room and we ended win one. The room was not clean. Two of the lamps in the room needed new light bulbs. The shower was very hard to turn on. The microwave didn’t work well. There was not enough toilet paper in the room. The roof in the lobby leaked and the upper hallway seemed rickety. However, breakfast was good.
