Terrible experience. I booked this hotel in August for a one-night stay earlier this month. After a late-night flight, I arrived to check in at 1:00 a.m. and was told they did not have a room for me, despite my confirmed reservation. I was informed that rooms were available but were being held for military personnel who had not yet checked in. The front desk told me they regularly double book and never to do so via third party (Orbitz, Expedia, etc..) that the hotel regularly over books.
I am 7 months pregnant and was exhausted after a long day of traveling. The staff told me they were unsure if their neighboring hotel had availability and suggested they could “walk me over” — in 20-degree weather, snowing, in the middle of the night.
When the front desk agent spoke with the night shift manager, Audrey Romero, to explain my frustration and concerns, the only “solution” she offered was threatening to call the police instead of attempting to resolve the situation or assist a pregnant guest left without accommodations.
This was beyond unprofessional, unsafe, and unacceptable. Poor communication, zero accountability, and complete lack of empathy. I would never recommend staying here. I worked in hospitality for over five years and never would have handled the situation in this manner.
