Staff was very friendly and helpful. King size bed was made for Lord Farquaad, it was wide but my feet hung off the end and I’m only 6’1” Sink drain was clogged.

There was a lot of construction around the hotel, which made it confusing to enter the property. Much of the parking was quite awkward, and the spaces were slanted down steeply toward the rooms. It was "freezing" in the hotel lobby, eating area, and hallways. Very uncomfortable. When we mentioned it to staff at front desk ("It's very cold in here"), the reply we received was "Yes, it is." There were used towels hanging on the back of the bathroom door. The room was insufficiently cleaned (layers of dust, corners that had not been vacuumed for who knows how long, squeaky beds, heater that took "forever" to warm up the room. We wanted to have our evening meal in the so-called restaurant (the "Bistro"), which turned out to be not a restaurant at all, but more like a breakfast area and which was part of the lobby. It was quite uninviting and too cold to remain there for dinner. We didn't want to go out for dinner because it was raining, so we ordered a pizza. We were charged 75 cents for the local call to the pizza joint. There was no complimentary breakfast. Also, unlike the previous hotel we stayed in, which gave us complimentary water bottles, this hotel wanted $4.00 + tax for a liter bottle of water left in our room. The water pressure was low. The tub was slippery. There was no body lotion in the room. The hallways were dim and dreary. All in all, a very disappointing stay. A bad reflection on the Marriott brand, which we'll think twice about in the future.
