I want to thank the GM (De) for her work to help me through a difficult schedule change. Let's just say, it involved a third-party reservation booking company. The company was not being hard to deal with per se, but De cut through everything for me and got to the right answer. I've stayed at the Days Inn in Pierre many times, keep up the customer friendly work. Thank you.

The staff was the perfect example of great customer service. At other hotels I will hardly get a hello if I'm walking past them, but these people were courtious, asking how we were doing in the pool tournament. The shower head was too low for 2 of us guys. We are 6'3 and it was uncomfortable. My wife wished one of the ammenities was lotion. We wash our hands a lot playing pool and they dry out. She ran out of her personal stash. Breakfast was ok. Free wifi worked great.

The rooms were very clean and I hadn't had that good of a night sleep in a long time, the new beds were amazing!! Everyone is so welcoming and very helpful as well as very attentive to my family's needs throughout our stay; we travel with a little one and I always worry how she will adapt, but the staff met all our needs and made it so simple. I love the remodeled breakfast area!! I think it'd be fun to have a get-together in that area during the evening hours with all our great friends from Pierre, we will have to do that next time because I will always choose Days Inn when we visit Pierre!

We stayed one night, I was drawn to this hotel because of the "new beds" review. Yes the bed was nice and it looked like fresh painting had been done. Those were the pluses. The carpet smelled of old dirt. It made my sinuses hurt. The recliner was so dirty I refused to sit on it. I will choose another hotel next time.

I will definitely stay there again, they were the friendliest, cleanest and very reasonable priced. I have not found a better place in Pierre to stay.

This is my 'go to' hotel in Pierre. They have remodeled and improved the structure but the best part is the friendly staff and warm cookie waiting for you at the end of the day. The new mattresses and pillows made the stay well worth it.

The accommodations were great for the room price. Friendly staff, knowledgeable, easy check in and rooms were very clean!! More importantly though, the staff did an excellent job all the way around. The beds were very comfortable!! The kitchen area is very nice and breakfast was outstanding! We also used the kitchen area in the evenings for eating and visiting with other guests. I really enjoyed it! Location was convenient and close to nice restaurants and bars too. Number one choice in Pierre!! Highly Recommended!!

I stayed at this place and loved the atmosphere! The manager De and the staff at the front desk were very helpful and very friendly. The hotel and my rooms were very clean. The breakfast was awesome. The fire pit in the back is great! I will stay here again and I highly recommend staying here.

When I checked in I noticed the air conditioner was covered with a mattress pad and a bungee cord. the old mattress pad covering the unit was so old the batting in the fabric was breaking down and falling off in pieces onto the floor and around the area of the room as the wind blew through the fabric. The room was cold. The 2nd day, the maids did not clean my room. When I got in late that night, I called downstairs to see if I could at least get clean towels and the phone rang and rang, no one answered so I didn't get clean towels. When I told the manager at the front desk in the morning, the manager told me she never left the desk and I must have had the phone unplugged! The 3rd night, it was very cold with 25 mph winds, snowing and -1 outside. The cold air was blowing so hard through the mattress cover and along the unsealed edges of the air conditioning unit that my room was unbearably cold and I had the heat thermostat at maximum and still couldn't stay warm. I called downstairs and I was told there were no other rooms available and that they did not have a hard cover for the unit. So they covered the unit with the mattress pad with large garbage bags and taped them against the wall with duct tape.

Property needs updates and breakfast area not clean. Staff at desk accuses customers of problems instead of resolving. Rooms not ready for winter. Friend’s room had a garbage bag taped to wall covering air leaks at -9 degrees. Toilets are extremely small for adults. No closets. Breakfast area was not appealing. Rate was high based on comparable in area
