This was a really nice place. I was traveling with 2 dogs and the fact that they were pet-friendly was the reason I booked it. Having stayed there now I would book it even if I didn't have the dogs. They were really nice and friendly. The breakfast was great and the location was right by a great city park..
WE were pleasantly surprised to find our room so clean and comfortable, with extras such as a leather couch and chair. Great service. Food is terrible don't go there thinking you'll get a good breakfast.
We were on our "last leg" returning from our road trip to Seattle, WA. We didn't make reservations as we weren't sure where we would be stopping on the way. Pierre was the last stop before home, and that day of travel was the longest of our whole trip. When we walked into the Days Inn @ Pierre, we were impressed on the fact that they were remodeling, yet without the "mess". The thing that impressed me most was the dining area...WOW! Modern & CLEAN! And I had to look twice...REAL plates and silverware to eat with. That's right, dinnerware and silverware, not paper and plastic. At first it felt strange to have this at a motel, but the ownership really gave this some thought. Not only does this improve the atmosphere, but reduces the amount of waste generated providing the service of breakfast for patrons. Awesome! The manager & staff were all very friendly & helpful with information on our stay (even though it was just one night). Will definitely stay with them again on our future stops in Pierre.
This is your very basic 2-star hotel. It has your standard continental breakfast with waffles, biscuits and gravy, as well as hard boiled eggs and yogurt. Unfortunately, we stayed the night before the opening of grouse season, so the breakfast area was very crowded and the staff had a hard time keeping up with the demand. Fortunately, the staff were all super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quiet, although the bathroom was quite small. There is no elevator, so that could be a problem for some travelers.
I appreciated the overall condition of the property, the friendliness of the staff (Cindy is great), the accouterments available for breakfast, the "motorcycle-friendly" room access as well as the rags provided for cleanup of my motorcycle. I was very pleased and would recommend this property to any traveler!
The hotel is older, and undergoing renovations. There is no Wi-Fi unless you sit in the lobby/breakfast area. The bedding is lovely. The bathroom is very small. The eyelet dust ruffle on one of the beds had a large (dinner plate-sized) yellow stain, presumably from an animal. The people are lovely, and the owner/GM helped with a double-charging issue after we had left & resolved the matter very quickly.
Best staff ever! Changed hotels from Super 8. (Horrible rooms, horrible owner) Days Inn staff was amazing, clean rooms, clean hotels awesome!
Was very disappointed with my first stay at a Days Inn. Room had stale odor. Air conditioner was extremely loud. Breakfast was very minimal. No protein I expect much more from a property of this reputation.
Once again, we had another great stay at this hotel. Staff were extremely friendly. Great BBQ supper the night we stayed along with a good, plentiful hot breakfast. Definitely will stay there again!
Their customer service is over the top. Especially Bonita who sets out fresh baked cookies for guests ! They did all they could to make you feel welcome. We have stayed here previously and will stay there again in the future.
