This was a wonderful place. We loved it. The only problem was the key was difficult to use. Kept hitting the door handle. Other than that it was great.
Friendly staff at check-in. Sink outside the shower and toilet. Heat lamp in the bathroom. Newer AC. Comfortable beds.
Clean. Always. Kind and courteous staff. I've stayed multiple times and I will be back next time I am in town. The only thing they could do better on is mattress and pillow upgrades. I booked a suite and expected a bit better. Pillows flat and hard, mattress just a basic, firm, creaky spring style.
When I checked in the desk agent announced my room number loud enough to hear clear across the lobby when she gave me the key. No need for this since room number is written on key envelope.
Love staying here and do so at least once a year, sometimes more. It is convenient and family friendly. Great breakfasts. Great staff. My only wish is that the carpet could be replaced, especially in the hallways and on the stairs. The condition of the carpeting could be off-putting to those who do not know how wonderful this place really is.
Good.
The place was nice and clean. Staff was very pleasant. The light as you enter the room did not work. The parking lot was under repair. I requested a handicap room as I have back and knee problems. The room was at the end of the hall, so we had to carry luggage a long distance.
Simple and to the point. The hallways were a little chaotic at times, but the room was extremely clean.
Front desk staff were great.
Room was very nice and clean. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly especially the lady in the morning. She is one of South Dakota's citizen crown jewels.. She was so friendly and kind. Has been working their for years. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with very delicious and healthy offerings. Juices and Hot Fresh coffee as well Loved the local history of all of SD's Governor's that was on display in the hotel. The owner makes it clear that he is not only proud to be a South Dakotan but also is a very respectful of all of our wonderful American Traditions and Values. The hotel is just across the street from a beautiful scenic walk along the Missouri River as well and it is a very beautiful and refreshing walk to take. Would stay again indeed! Rick Denver
We loved the guest grill outside and patio tables.
The room looked pretty nice. But the bed was HANDS DOWN THE WORST BED I’ve ever slept in.
It was a nice hotel and everything I expected for the money I paid.
I was very pleased with this hotel overall, and special thanks to Chris for being among the most helpful people I've ever encountered among hotel staff.
Convenient location. Good breakfast option. Bed was comfy.
The restaurant next door is terrific Italian food Nice breakfast till in the morning
The hotel is generally clean and, despite being a somewhat depressing setting, provides what one might expect for Pierre. Don't expect up-market customer service or your pick of rooms here, so bring ear plugs in case you end up on the back side by the train tracks (a problem in just about any Pierre lodging). Until a Hampton Inn shows up out on the bypass, this might be as good as it gets.
