No hot water for shower, let them know nothing changed in 3 days. Pool was closed. Very overpriced.
Thank you so much for offering in room recycling bins and reusable shampoo, conditioner and body wash containers! I'd love to see some different plates than the styrofoam like ones at breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful, sonics even offered to carry my heavy bags on the way out. The water park was nice but very expensive. Prices were high for kids and I know everyone is short on help these days but there were VERY few lifeguards and one at a slide never even looked up from her phone as I went up and hopped in.
My stay at the Clubhouse was 6 days; Sunday thru Friday. When I first arrived I found only three hangers in the closet. I needed about 8 for my clothes. When I phoned the desk they told me they didn't have any to bring me. The next morning on my way out I asked another front desk person and she said she would bring some up. She brought up 4 more old, beaten up hangers. My door to the room jammed a lot and was difficult to enter each day. The mattress in my room was gross and old, soft and you sank right in because it had no support. The hot tub was closed the entire week I was there, although the pool was open, it too was gross as the water looked green. I never saw anyone use the pool. The fitness room had no sweat towels. The fitness room was never entered by staff the entire week I was there. The overflow trash was there on Sunday when I arrived and was still untouched by Friday when I left. I wasn't aware they would not service the room unless you requested so; by day three I realized this and asked them to turn over my room. They did come and changed the sheets and gave me more towels; however they didn't clean nor did they remove any of the old used towels or washcloths. When I checked out they told me they could not provide me with a folio. Bottom line: this is not a $160/night hotel. No better than the comfort or quality inn, which is around $69/night. Save your money and use another hotel because this is not better than a $69 /night hotel.
We stayed two nights and our room never got cleaned and no clean towels. The rooms need updating.
Beautiful view of the side of Mount Rushmore! Great place to stay!
Best place in town. But..pillows on bed suck...small squares...not comfy.
Our room was clean, spacious & comfortable. Hotel is guiet and well maintained. Free breakfast is skimpy & lacking options. One particular front desk employee was repeatedly brusque and unfriendly when I encountered her by both phone & in person for my husband & me.
Our two night stay in Custer began at check-in with the friendly and efficient Kareem at the front desk. It was one of the quickest arrival experiences we've ever had. I had a lovely conversation with him about books one evening. He was a very personable and bright young man who does this property credit by his presence.
Very nice accommodations, likely the best in town.
Quite new and very nice property adjoining bar & grill very good free breakfast reasonable rates friendly/helpful front desk staff. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
The food was excellent and very reasonable!! Very fun pool!!!!
Very nice hotel! Lovely decor, comfy beds, and hot shower. Would definitely stay here again.
We had an excellent stay at the hotel!! The bed was very comfortable and walk-out to the parking lot was very convenient for loading and un-loading luggage. Breakfast was awesome - fresh fruit - waffles and rolls!! Yummmm! The staff was very friendly and the room was exceptionally clean!! Will definitely stay again!!
It was a really nice place to stay I would stay there all the time if I could afford it it was the nicest place in town

John: I am so sorry for the issues that you had during your stay. I have used this as a training for my entire staff so that guest are more informed at check in as well. As you know most hotels have changed their stayover policies as we did as well. We continually monitor the pool and at all times keep at save levels for our guest to use. Again, I am sorry! I am sorry to hear that you where not happy during your stay. While we are cautious of everyone's safety and health we do not automatically go into guest rooms for stay over service. Again, I apologize for this. Thomas Allerdings, General Manager

First, thank you for your kind words. Secondly, we are working on getting them swapped out in each of our rooms. Thank you again, Thomas Allerdings, General Manager
