Stayed here last night and had a great stay. We asked for first floor and got it. Room was great size, bed and pillows comfy. Bathroom was great size with a large vanity. Shower had excellent pressure. The waterworks are a bit noisy. The room temp was adjustable and worked fine. Accessibility and parking were great. Breakfast was standard HIE which works for coffee! If you want a fridge and microwave, be sure to ask for it, not all rooms have them.

My husband and I stayed here twice in February. Each time we arrived, we were greeted warmly and the check-in process was smooth. Our rooms were a nice size and clean except for a random sock, left on the floor, by a previous guest that we found on our second stay. Breakfast was typical Holiday Inn Express and the staff worked hard to keep things replenished and clean.

Just so you know a standard room does not include a mini frig let alone a microwave. Terrible customer service refused to upgrade or refund even though when I went to rebook online there was a room with all that I asked for. Manager was totally rude and unprofessional.

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. Bed was comfortable. Air unit is old and hard to control temperature. No computers or printer available in business center making it quite inconvenient. Breakfast had several hot selections which changed each day including biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, omelets, sausage, bacon, pancakes. Special k cereal. Yogurts, bagels, toast, milk, juice, cinnamon rolls, coffee. Towels are nice and fluffy.

It's time for an upgrade as this hotel is dated. Walls are very thin making a good nights sleep near impossible with noisy neighbors up til midnight. I do a lot of work at the desk when I travel and this one was not geared for the business traveler. Chair height was too low for the desk and outlets were under the desk on the wall. While I appreciate the staff checking to see if I needed anything, I expect hotel staff to be respectful of a displayed "Do Not Disturd" sign. Instead of a knock on the door, a simple slip of paper under the door letting me know they stopped by and saw the sign would have been sufficient. Breakfast staff was not prepared for the 9:00am rush and ran out of eggs, bacon & sausage. It was a good 20 minutes before anything was replaced and about 30 for the eggs. While breakfast staff was scrambling (eggs I assume), tables were not cleaned as guests came and went. While I generally try to stay in a select few name brand hotels when I travel, I'll likely seek other alternatives on my next visit to the area

Hot breakfast in the morning room clean and comfortable. They have a pool and hot tub indoors. They were both clean and hot tub was hot comfortably hot. I wish the bathroom had Ben a little bigger . I did have a small fridge in the extended stay room. The staff was friendly and helpful.

There were not too many options for name brand hotels in the Pierre area. I chose the Holiday Inn Express since it was a familiar name and chain. I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. The hotel is replacing several windows, but that did not affect my stay. The only rooms with a fridge are the suites, but I did not have one.

Good location. Place filled with cowboys, fisherpeople, government associated businesspeople, and tourists. Higher priced than a lot of this chain and for the location, it seems unwarranted. Then again, the choices are limited and some more expensive. TV kept shorting out so we had service people and the manager in and out several times over two nights. They were polite but blamed the cable provider, kind of with a shrug like, "What're ya gonna do?"

First time visitor...traveled 800+ miles that day to get here. Great view of the sunset from my top floor room. Multiple choices for fast food or casual dinning are close by. Beautiful park and interesting downtown are a short drive over the bridge. Free breakfast is the typical fare of "scrambled" eggs, cereal, toast, coffee, thus not enticing or memorable. King room on the top floor was clean, internet worked well. Epic drive from here south on Rt 83 through the Grasslands to I-90 is breath taking.

Made the reservation on line was called within minutes, hotel was overbooked. Gave us a couple of options. We were given an extremely nice upgrade. Handled very well by desk. Room was exceptional, loved the whirlpool. Hot breakfast was good.
