Room wasn't ready when we got there long after check in and then we got completely screwed over by hotel staff who promised us a voucher and then wouldn't honour it for over charged terrible food that was completely gluggy and over priced nasty drinks !! Rude staff who completely screw you over as much as they can and then can't even be bothered to reply to a very reasonable email to give them a chance to fix it! Do not stay here unless you want to lose money and ruin your holiday on an over priced old run down hotel that's in a crap location with terrible transport to town and just tries to get more money out of you! Very very disappointing!

We stayed 3D2N after another villa elsewhere. Were warmly greeted by the staff but had to politely decline one trying her best to book us for a Wyndham seminar. Our bed was romantically decorated but the rest needed makeover. Disappointed with the poor conditions thereafter. See photos. Service was polite and quick to remedy for a loose light bulb. TV programme variety needs to be improved. FOX Movie channel kept pausing itself the whole day; no, you don't have the option to control the cable. So we ended up using their WiFi which stalled frequently. Western food was... meh. Save your stomach elsewhere. As the villa is uphill and a distance from Patong, they have an hourly shuttle bus (till 8pm) which has more seats than others. Remember book beforehand if you want to take one from the villa; as for the return trip, it's free for all and first-come basis at pickup points Jungceylon Mall and Patong Beach. Taxi is commonly priced at 400 baht "due to the uphill" from Patong and 800 baht from villa to the airport. All staff were polite and helpful though. Sadly the technical parts were too disappointing. We had read reviews only after booking; should have done so before that. Not worth the return.

I have stayed several times at this hotel...for whatever reason it went downhill ....for example, hotel tried to bait and switch on me rooms...when comes to cleanning room, well about 60% was cleaned, sometime fresh towels sometimes not, mini bar got filled 1.5 out of 5 days, blood on wall...yes blood on wall.... old ripped towels... no steak or any food alike in restaurant ... security blocked me from exiting hotel as he was not sure if i paid or not, yet i had 1 more day to stay in hotel, very very rude ... also dirty toilet seat, in addition one day cleanning lady took all toilet paper out of room and left me with none, patio never got cleaned throughout my stay..... this used to be my favourite hotel in patong but never again.

Great place to stay, staff very helpful. Shuttle into town and back is great. Well appointed rooms. Travel desk very helpful organized us a great 3 hour site seeing trip for 1500 thb. Great pool just outside bedroom.

My sister, my daughter and I stayed at Wyndham Sea Pearl Resort Phuket in April 2017. When we got to the hotel we were made to wait for our to get our room which we had booked and when we got it, it was a smaller room (2 single beds) than what we had booked. We complained and we were made to wait again for hours that they were cleaning the room. Then my sister and daughter were forced to sit in a timeshare for over with a promised of free but in the end told them they were not getting the vouchers as they had not purchased anything. Hotel guests are held at ransom and being lied to about things they are not going to get in the first place. The day we were leaving we left the room but after checking out I realised I had left my designer earrings, my daughter's Fitbit and my cardigan in the room. We were made to wait but they cane back telling us that nothing was found in the room. We refused to go for over 2 hours insisting those things were left in the room but we were still told the room was empty. When we returned to Bangkok I sent an email to the hotel and after days I was told the earrings and the cardigan were found in the room but nothing else. I gave them the address in Bangkok where they could send them. I waited for over a week until I returned home to the UK. I wrote another email whilst in UK and was told the Manager had left and another one would deal with it. This happened to me 3 times at change of Managers. The last one called Scott Walton told me they had send me an email requesting me to send them 200 Thai Bhat for postage of my things. I could not believe the hotel was charging me. Anyways I posted the money to Scott at the beginning of May and today it's 9th June but as yet my brother has not received my property. My family and I travel a lot (more than 12 times a year) and we stay in hotels all over the world but THIS THIS WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED AT AND WILL NEVER EVER RETURN EVER.

As a Wyndham club member I have stayed in a number of their resorts. This is the first one we have been disappointed with. I will not be returning. On our first day we were very tired, feeling quite unwell and Jet lagged and had not eaten for several hours. We were immediately accosted by Maria in the reception area, the Wyndham representative whose one goal was to get my companion to sign up for the Wndham Asia presentation. I kept telling her several times that we felt unwell and could just not deal with any arrangements at that time but she ignored our protests so we picked a time and date for the presentation with the promise of $3,300 baht as a reward to spend at the hotel. As predicted, that reward sucked us in because it would supplement our right budget or so we believed!! My companion attended this 90 minute presentaton a few days later and received the voucher. The so called 'conditions' on the voucher were not openly and honestly explained once it was presented to him but of course it was later pointed out by reception staff that the conditions were printed in 'fine print' on the voucher itself and we should have read them!! On our second last day, we noticed an irrate couple at reception complaining about the so called 'conditions' in 'fine print' which did not allow them to use the voucher upon checkout for a few meals booked through room service. We had ordered room service meals andbplanned to do the exact same thing at the end of our stay!! Luckily we had one night left and we were told we had to present the voucher first before ordering at the resort's restaurant. We did just that the last night of our stay and ordered drinks (two alcoholic) and entree each and a main each. My companion ordered the grilled salmon but got plain salmon. He was hungry so just ate what he was given. The total came to approx $1,800 baht. We paid with the voucher and waited 10 minutes for the waitress to return with 'an unused remaining voucher' amount. We finally stood up and asked for the balance remaining voucher and was told that we could only use the voucher on one single occassion!! So decided to order a bottle of wine at the outrageous Price of $1400 baht! We had to pay $100 baht out of pocket to purchase this item.! I asked if the winebwas chilled and they lied and said 'yes' but it arrived 'hot' in a bucket of ice and was also a 2015!vintage which was off!! I was so disgusted I could not be bothered complaining!! Overall the food from the resort was yummy but over priced. The mini bar items were three times the price you could get in a mini mart. We had trouble with our TV as the Fix movie channel stopped working and took 3 days to fix. The swimming pool outside our room had problems and was closed for three days and still not operational upon our departure! No thanks! Never again.

Staying at Sea Pearl with friends and loving the facilities....mostly. Had dinner at Alfa Club a couple of nights ago, brilliant meal, excellent service, sensational view and reasonable price. Last night decided to eat downs stairs at Blue Waters seafood restaurant, expecting similar. At least the view was the same. Overpriced, service from staff OK. Seafood consisted of crab sticks and trays of sliced salmon and tuna. Series of Bain Marie trays with various rice, noodle, chicken, and pork dishes, plus one fish, was all cold. When fresh food was brought out, cold again. Asked the manager if it was meant to be served cold, he stated, no, hot. Other customers also complaining. Vegetables, particularly chips, looked and tasted as if they had been reheated several times. Manager then said he would only charge for 2 meals instead of 4. Not sure if this was a one-off issue, but I certainly won't be risking it again, as we are unsure just how long all these "hot" dishes had been sitting around unheated.

Be aware Whyndam owners that the glossy photos you see are not what you are going to get. Whyndam only have a small percentage of the large property so if you aren't happy with your room you might have to pay a lot more for another one. Our two bedroom deluxe villa was certainly not what we expected - maintainace housekeeping and position the main issue. Management and Whyndam Australia were very helpful and we were eventually offered a new villa with no extra charge. You need to get either the shuttle - last one at 8.00pm returning at 8.20 - or pay a taxi approx $12 for a 10 minute trip. Whyndam really needs to have a look at the maintainace of their properties as the last few we have been to are getting very old and tired. Didn't see the other one in Patong but spoke to others who were there and they said it wasn't very nice - also about 10 minutes out of town. Wouldn't go back

We booked the private pool villa (PV214). It was on the second floor. The view and everything was fine in the morning. However, when we switched off the light before we went to bed, we heard of mouse squeaking coming from the ceiling. We remained silence and the mouse kept squeaking!! We believed that a mouse was trapped so it could not run away and squeaking for help. So we requested for a room change. The second room was on the first floor and the view is really bad and the air conditioner was very noisy. We went to the front desk to require a room on the second floor the other day. They assigned us a villa at the Carissa Pool Villa building but it was also on the first floor. I requested a room on the second floor but the staff rejected by saying that the room on the second floor are currently under renovation. IT WAS A LIE! Coz we saw people going in and out at the room on the second floor. NOTHING was done to compensate the fact that a mouse was found in the room!!! My boyfriend and I are easy going. We had never made any complaint to the hotel. This is the first time I made a bad comment of a hotel!!! Staff are nice and friendly tho.

When we arrive they prepare us honeymoon room with many flower and animal towel in the bed which very nice. We are very happy with it. However when try to sleep I am reliaze that our bed is twin bed which sticked together become one. The twin bed not a twin hollywood bed so it not match together and one of the bed higher than other. They did not tell anything about it even they know we are in our honeymoon trip. When we turned on the Jacuzzi, it smell like to much clorine inside and after 5 minute I felt itchy in my skin. When have a shower I put the handle to red color and no hot water comes out. The engginering comes and put the handle into blue color after that we get the hot water. I think they should put sign to annouce about this, since I believe the blue means cold water and the red one means hot water. In the morning, I informed to reception and they upgarde us into room with a double bed and thank you for this. The location a little bit fat from the patong beach and they have free shuttle every hour start from 10 am until 8 pm. It will much better if it could extend until 11 pm. Taxi from Patong beach to the hotel around THB 400 per way.
