We were absolutely impressed with this beautiful resort. They were comfortable spacious and clean. The only reason for not giving the last star was because the shower unit needed retiling and updated, otherwise perfect. Staff were both friendly, polite and efficient. The service was great. The hourly shuttle was a godsend as it is quite an arduous and dangerous walk to downtown. Would love to stay again. Well done Wyndham.
We stayed in Q101 for 5 days then T201 for another 5 days, the resort is 15minutes out of town on a tuk tuk. The resort itself well laid out with security at the gates and around the complex. The reception staff were wonderfully especially Pimm, the cleaners name was Amorat and she was great. The rooms were comfortable and well laid out, the air conditioning was a godsend after a full day in the humidity. We stayed from the 2/3 to the 12/3/18 and will be back.
We just want to have a nice modern Hotel and spend a great time in holidays. So we are not looking to book everything separate and book a package for all. Hotel near to the city and with a deluxe room. Well the people are nice there and the pools are great. When we arrive in a private car very happy to be on holidays since so long I saw a sad building on an high way - nothing like easy going to the city, beach - walking. The bad point was when we come to your room. A very big room but seriously I don’t need 2 bed’s for my holiday with my boyfriend. We had a big bed and a small one.. but ok .. The bad point was : the room was totally dirty. At the first view it saw like clean but in real is was totally dirty. The pillow have some white points like from a sexual act and the floor was dirty, the bathroom everything’s even the phone to call the reception. I call for a manager they send me a cleaning girl without any English. I usually don’t write as reviews so I stay with the 3 stars over the reality. The other point is, ok you don’t send me a manager maybe we are not this value but please don’t call me later to offer me a f.. promotion for the the Wyndham hotel. Seriously?? You take my time to say we offer you a free tour if you go to a promotion for the next hotel only 90 minutes. Not really, I don’t want spend my time with fake promotions where you try to sell me something. Make your job clean the rooms. Ask your customers if they are happy invest your time on that. The room continues only ok not really clean. No coffeemaker for a 5 stars hotel and for 2 people not possible to hang up your cloths. They habe maybe 5 things to hang cloths. And the other places to need to look if it is clean. Never had this before with a high quality hotel. :-((
This place has everything! Restaurants, bars, multiple pools (and your own depending on what room you get!), spa, gym and so much more! It's a bit far from the city centre but there is a free shuttle bus to the centre and back (didn't really use it in the end). The resort is peaceful and secluded so it is a really nice place to relax! Beautiful scenic view looking into the mountains! The room/suite we stayed in was HUUGE! and beautiful my boyfriend and I were over the moon! Room service and great and the staff were really nice and friendly! If you're going to stay here, I would really recommend getting breakfast included because it works out so much cheaper! The buffet is great with so many options from lots of fresh fruit, drinks and food (lots of gluten, vegan, dairy free and paleo options available!). Nothing to complain about however I must say that the service charge for restaurants can be quite pricey (17%) aside from that, amazing experience!
We were excited to stay here after a few days at the very lovely Crowne Plaza in Panwa Beach since the Wyndham is much closer to "the action" of Patong Beach. Unfortunately, this place was quite a step down from the Crowne Plaza. The resort itself is pretty, but it is not very close to the beach and while they offer a shuttle bus, it was frequently booked and we had to wait several times before getting on. It also ends service at 8pm, which is way too early, so we ended up having to take several 300 baht tuktuk rides to get back to the hotel. The room was average. At first the air conditioner wouldn't cool down the room - we had to wait 3 hours or so before it was an acceptable temperature. We called the front desk twice and they sent a technician who said he fixed it, but it wasn't fixed. We went down in person, and ultimately, we just dealt with the less-than-perfect air temp. Add these issues to a mediocre (bordering on pedestrian) breakfast, and I would say it wasn't worth the four star rating. We would not return to the Wyndham on a future stay in Phuket.
Adequate room, clean, good bed, AC worked well. Breakfast had decent variety, but expensive. Concierge in lobby only seems to work with certain groups, for example wanted a speedboat service to Koh Lanta but only had 1 service available which ended up being a slow, crowded older ferry. I should have known better and booked prior online, but I trusted that the Wyndham would have access to a variety of services to meet needs of customers. My mistake. Employees were pleasant but not overly helpful. Been to many “lower end” places where people seemed happier to be there. Overall not a bad experience if you don’t expect the services to match the prices.
The resort is absolutely beautiful, Staff where lovely and the resort grounds were impeccably presented. The room we had was nice but a bit weathered and there was mould in the bathroom. Which caused the room to have a smell to it. Otherwise everything was great.
We really liked this hotel. We were there over Xmas with our two small children. Staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough to make us all welcome. The jacuzzi on the balcony is cold though which was a bit strange and pool area a bit tired looking but it wasn't the best weather when we were there so that didn't help. The location is ok although it's at the top of a hill luckily they have a free bus to the centre and beach. The breakfast is lovely and lots of selection. Just one thing they should consider for a 5 star is a non dairy milk alternative for vegetarians. I would recommend this hotel to friends as the price was good too.
A stylish resort set on a high and beautiful view on Patong Beach The rooms are clean and have a balcony with tub The resort has more than a large swimming pool And a ball court And a health club There is a shuttle service to Patong Beach The staff are friendly You can not walk outside the resort because the motorway is dangerous So it's better to go to the beach for a shuttle service I had booked a room and had a lovely view The landscape surrounds the resort A unique experience
My friends and i were returning guests, and the service was one of the best as usual and the rooms are very nice and comfortable, you really get your money’s worth..and the best thing was, we were upgraded to a pool villa on our last night as a sign of appreciation for our return..so what more can you ask for..very grateful to the staff and management for giving us such an amazing experience..we highly recommend this place and we will surely return..
