This is a nice place with good amenities, staff is helpful. We had booked suite which had a small Jacuzzi and was well placed for a vacation time. Commute is easy with the shuttle service provided. They need to plan their services while closing on the breakfast better. They seem to be in a rush when they are closing on the breakfast.
We were 4 couples and had booked the rooms well in advance to have the rooms together. To our surprise when we reached the hotel we were allotted rooms in different corners of the property. When asked for iron & ironing board they replied that they only have one which is in some guests room. And 'ironically' this was their reply for all the 3 days that we stayed with them. The rooms are big enough and hotel is 10 mins drive from patong. Overall it is an average property according to me and for the price we paid for the rooms we could have done better.
Half way through our stay and just had the best stretching session with Noom in the gym! I needed it 2 days after the fantastic hill running session and all free! He’s fantastic! More people should take advantage of this great facility.
We stayed here for 8 days over New Year’s Eve. We had a studio deluxe with a spa (cold water) but very refreshing as it to hot for a hot spa. The king bed was very comfortable. We had ala carte breakfast which did a nice eggs Benedict. The staff are very friendly. We spent some time at the pool bar near the main lobby building as it’s quieter than the big pool which is near the main road. We had buffet seafood New Year’s Eve dinner at Alpha which has breathtaking views of Patong. The buffet was exceptional and staff are so helpful. I would stay here again, it’s away from town but has a shuttle going in for free every hour. And returning the same. The housekeeper was so lovely too! Block R!
This is a good resort for some peace and quiet. It is far away from any shops or beach. There is a shuttle that goes to Patong shops and beach hourly(must pre-booked as it is full constantly). You are totally reliant on hotel for food- no walking distance to restuarants. While the walk to Patong is only about 20-30mins but the road is extremely dangerous outside of hotel. No footpaths and very fast downhill traffic. Not recommended. Very big and soacious 2 bedroom suite. Nice private verandah with Jacuzzi. Not quite the Wyndham standard in terms of cleanliness and amenities (lacking simple pots and pans). The room was very musty with a bad smell from AC and the showers were mouldy. It is in desperate need of a renovation/upgrade. There were rats in the garden beds outside of rooms roaming at might which prohibits us to enjoy the veranda in the evenings or going out. Very quiet time when we were there did not see more than 3 families/couples in our block during our stay. Had the pool to ourselves all the time. Recommended for couples/honeymooners. Not recommended for elderly and prams- lots of stairs. TIP: pay for taxi approx 150bhat one way and go to Swissotel Patong or any other big hotel for buffet breakfast. The one at Wndyham is severely overpriced for its selection and quality.
This is our third trip to Phuket and Sea Pearl Resort has been the best stay so far. We booked a week through Worldmark South Pacific Club for five of us into a 3 bedroom Deluxe apartment. It consisted of a studio with its own ensuite, no kitchenette and an adjoining 2 bedroom apartment with separate bathroom and kitchenette, with connecting door. Each apartment had a jacuzzi on the balcony (unheated) with a swimming pool for each apartment complex. There was a well equipped gym in the resort as well as some complementary activities you could book and some paid activities e.g. a cooking class. Wifi is complementary. Breakfast had a good range, included with some packages but 600 baht for others. There are a couple of restaurants on-site as well, but we didn’t try them. There is an hourly shuttle bus into Patong that runs to 8pm. Don’t forget to book it as it fills up quickly. The staff were friendly. The only issues were maintenance problems in the bathroom - bath spout came adrift and the bath plug didn’t do it’s job. Don’t have the front desk book your taxi to the airport - they charge 1200 baht for 2 or 1800 baht for 4; 800 baht is the standard, so call a taxi or keep the business card when going from the airport.
Stayed here with my family and it was a great experience. Staff were friendly and helpful, and our deluxe 2 bedroom suite was perfect for us to enjoy amd relax. Turn down servixe was great and we loved the ginger bread cookies.
Resort is very good. Luxurious Resort. Service is prompt. Jacuzzi was dirty on first day but on next day it was cleaned. Worst part is Indian Veg Food. Resort should keep veg food items in restaurant. We really missed veg food.Only veg food was noodles and pasta. All over nice resort, pool, pool bar is good. Distance from patong beach is about 15 mins. 200-300 thai baht for taxi from patong beach to resort. No indian food outlet nearby We suggest to take resort near patong beach. Have fun
Words and photos can't describe how beautiful this place is. This is our first time at the Sea Pearl. Our 2 children can't decide out of the 8 swimming pools to swim in. Being up in the hills is so peaceful. You really feel like you are the only ones here. With birds in the trees and the water falls from the pools makes it just beautiful. We ordered room service and wow weeee the club sandwich was out of this world. My kids loved it so much they wrote a thank you letter to the chef that made it. The gardeners are really friendly and always say hello. The house keepers are lovely too. Beautiful smiles and very helpful. The front reception staff are well spoken and very supportive. We had a little hick up , but they dealt with it very professionally. Like I said words can't describe this place you have to come and experience it for your self.
We arrived at 9am to our hotel; as we all know check in isn’t usually until late afternoon. This is when we met Angwara.C, she greeted us with a smile and even though she gave us the “room not ready” news that we were expecting she did upgrade us to a suite for free! And even booked us onto the shuttle bus to take us into town for a few hours while they prepare the honeymoon spectacular. The time came for us to be shown up to our room. When they say they are preparing the honeymoon special you expect the little towel swans on the bed and maybe a free drink. Well, this was amazing, the suite was a lot bigger than expected, walking through the kitchen and lounge area admiring the beautiful sea view out from the balcony (which also had a jacuzzi!) we thought wow they’ve done good! But then we open the doors to reveal the bedroom, not only were there two towel swans there to greet us but real rose petals, and flowers all organised to create a heart pattern across the bed sheet. Wow! And to top it all off an open room with a gigantic bathtub and waterfall shower. Being spoilt or what?! The staff and atmosphere at the hotel were welcoming and relaxing, we didn’t need to worry about a thing! They had a free shuttle bus every hour for us to go out and explore and the room service was yummy! Angwara.C and Somchai went above and beyond and helped make our honeymoon that extra bit more spectacular! Somchai had drove us to our room, shown us how to work everything and continued providing us with laughs and local insights throughout our stay. Whilst Angwara provided us with assistance with our activities and any questions we had, and always greeted us with plenty of smiles!
