We spent 2N @ ocean deluxe room with jacuzzi. The room is spacious and clean despite the temperamental weather due to monsoon, we still enjoy the privacy with the spectacular view of Patong Beah. The water in the jacuzzi pool is kind of chilly, it will be nice if we can soak for monsoon season when we can't chill at the balcony. Breakfast spread served Thai, Western & Viet. I would like to comment of your morning staff (Fon) & night (Sara). They have been very attentive to everyone. They deserved a thumbs up for their service. Shuttle bus runs to & fro to junceylon and special timing to Patong Beach. With free shuttle this will save you 300bath/way. Will definitely be back again to Indochine, you make our stay rejuvenated!
I stayed in a villa with pool . I wake up to a great seaview everyday. My villa has ample space at a reasonable room rate. Service staff are friendly and my overall experience in the villa has been excellent
This is the second time I have stayed at this resort and both times were great. This most recent trip I had a Sky Suite and it was amazing. The suite was set high up into the resort and you have to take a cart/shuttle to get to your room. In fact, when you are wanting to leave your room you also need to call down for the shuttle. I thought this might be a bit frustrating but it was not. Literally within a minute of my call, there was a cart pulling up to take me down the hill. They offer an hourly shuttle every day to the mall area which is right around the corner from Bangla Road if you are wanting to have a party night. And if you don't catch the shuttle back, no problem, tuk tuks are everywhere and it is only 300baht ($9) to get back to the hotel. Check in was easy and was given breakfast vouchers for the restaurant each morning. And of course....the view. Spectacular!! I could enjoy it from my room or from the comfort of my balcony with private plunge pool. I have read reviews about insects on the property. Please know that you are in a humid and very plush landscape. Insects and bugs are part of it, but nothing that should get anyone bent out of shape. Actually, while I was there, they were spraying the entire property for mosquitoes so they do their part to control them as much as possible. Would I stay there again?? ABSOLUTELY!!
Great service and location, stayed in one of the sky suites with private pool. Staff very friendly, location convenient if your looking to go to Patong (we weren't) but there is a fantastic little hotel run bar across the road which serves great food and drinks right by the water. Very close to some great restaurants, room service very good if you don't want to leave.
The hotel has great staffs that provides good customer service. What I like better is the hotel room! I stayed in the Sky Suite with Plunge Pool and it was one of the newly build room. Quite the impressive view as the room was high up in the hill. I have the perfect view of Patong Beach, right outside my room.
The staff at Indochine were amazing. I stayed in a sky suite, the view was beautiful. The buffet breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend this hotel. It was my boyfriends birthday on the day we arrived, the staff layed out a happy birthday message for him, from me on the bed. Unfortunately he sat his bag ontop of the writing before I could take a photo so it is half wiped out.
A BIG thank you to all the kind and wonderful staff at the Indochine for making our trip feel so special and easy. From the minute we arrived the staff were scrambling to help us with our bags, and check us in quickly and smoothly, always going above and beyond. The hotel is built onto a steep mountain, so they drive you up and down to your room, as required, on a buggy. They were always very prompt in coming all the way up to the top to collect us from our Sky Suite... we never had to wait for them, and often when we opened the door, they were already in our driveway waiting to take us down to the lobby. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus back and forth from Patong throughout the day, which is very useful, dropping you off to Patong Beach or Jungceylon Mall. It runs on time and allows your to enjoy and peace and quiet of Kalim Bay, while also having the convenience of Patong just down the road (no noise and pollution at the Indochine). (It's a short drive North of Patong, nestled away from all the noise and hustle and bustle). The room itself was large and spacious, with a beautiful sandstone bathroom and views that overlooked all of Patong. Breakfast was one of the best I have enjoyed during my travels, with a combination of Western/Continental, and Thai Foods. The staff were always kind and smiling, offering assistance and service at any opportunity. Checkout was at midday, but as our flight was later that evening, the hotel kindly extended check out for us (complimentary), and then stowed our luggage for us, while allowing us to use the free shuttle in to Patong. It was above and beyond what their obligation to us was, as we had checked out, but very kind and generous of them to continue to treat us as VIP guests and make our day carefree and enjoyable. A few days after we left, I received a very nice follow-up email from the Guest Services Manager which was a nice touch and much appreciated. You can really tell they care about their guests. I cannot thank the staff enough for being so accomodating. We will definitely be back for another visit. By far one of the most beautiful hotels in Phuket - you won't regret staying here!
From the airport transfer straight up till check-out: the service, room, location, hotel breakfast, ambience & staffs were impeccable. Stayed 2 nights with my girl friend and it was an incredible 2 nights (wish we could have stayed longer!) The room was huge and it was spick and span. My girl friend had a birthday surprise for me and she was very appreciative the staff, Jokez, helped arranged for the balloon delivery person to set up in the room. Definitely a returning guest for the next trip to Phuket! They have free transfers to Jungceylon & Patong at certain timings and in-room massage service (paid, but HOW CONVENIENT!)
I honestly could not fault our stay at Indochine, we stayed in the sky suite villa which was clean, had an amazing view and was very modern, the buffet breakfast had a wide variety of food which was delicious and the staff were extremely friendly and were happy to meet all of our requests.
Beautiful resort with friendly staff! A special mention to the wonderful lady who was supervising breakfasts during our stay. I can't remember her name but she provided excellent service- she was working from very early in the morning and didn't finish until 11pm before she came back the next morning early again! To the General Manager of the resort- my partner and I were EXTREMELY impressed with her fantastic service and smiling through the day despite her long hours. If there are employees of the month she deserved it! Fantastic service from all staff but she was a stand out... Maybe her name was Koi? One small suggestion would be to inform guests about the use of MSG, or ask them upon check in whether the guests have any allergies or sensitivities to the food. We had finally figured out what the cause of our illness was after eating dinner at the resort (but the meal was beautiful)! The housekeepers do a great job every day with ensuring the cleanliness of the room- maybe just double check replacing towels as we were missing face washers for around 5 days so we used the hand towels instead. No issue there at all just something to double check! :) Seamless check-in and check out. Nothing was too difficult for the staff and they agreed to let us have a later check out as we were not due to fly out that night. The bus to and from Jungceylon was a great asset to have and is great to save guests 300baht for a one way trip. Very well done!
