We enjoyed the stay that much that we will stay again next year. Service, Rooms, everything was just what you want for a relaxing Holiday. Big, spacious rooms with the most amazing views of Phuket. Not in the heart of Phuket, but close enough to easily travel in and out and the hotel offer a complimentary shuttle (10 mins). Great free Wi-fi too.
If you’re looking to stay away from the busy streets, this hotel is a perfect choice. And checking in was smooth, rooms were very clean and the view from our room were magnificent! standard international breakfast and also the hotel staff are very friendly. We booked the Sky Suite room with a private pool tub which is right at the top and you can’t possible do a proper swim in the room pool, but they have a proper lap pool somewhere. Going for breakfast or the hotel entrance is abit of a work, you’ll have to call the buggy guy to come and pick you up as walking will take a lot of energy and time, I would suggest you call them and they’ll pick you up anytime of the day. If you rent a scooter, be very careful of the steep slope as I fell on my scooter at one of the slopes. Going to Patong Beach/Bangla street is about 15-20mins on a bike, but the hotel provide hourly shuttle service to Patong area and this service will save a couple of bucks! Overall were very happy!
This resort was exactly as it was sold! Perfect for what we wanted! Very romantic, clean place. The location was just far enough to be out of the hustle and bustle of city life but close enough for convenience. My partner unfortunately fell very ill whilst on our holiday but the staff were absolutely amazing in helping with absolutely anything we needed! Thankyou again for going above and beyond
We booked a studio for the second part of trip (5 days) after staying 4 nights at another place. If we would not have moved from studio to sky villa then the the rating would be one point only. I tell why: The hotel has probably the best view over Patong bay but not from studio which you do not see them on photos on booking sites. These are very old, dirty, dated, and obscured by buildings. Consider one or two point compare to 5 I gave now. We moved the next 4 nights to sky villa which you see the photos and views photographed from there. The rooms are nice, have a small pool on balcony and great view over bay. These are renovated recently and are good enough for short stay. Electric carts are available to bring you up and down hill form room to reception. Tennis court and a big public pool is include in the area. Like many other hotels shuttle bus to city available but it could be more frequent. Buffet breakfast is strong positive side of the hotel which extremely valuable. Shortly: If you avoid studios and ignore someone telling that this is a luxury place (which absolutely isn't) then you will have a great stay here.
We enjoyed our stay at Indochine. We booked the Sky Suite and had the highest floor and a private dip pool. Beautiful views. This is a wonderful resort style hotel with wonderful breakfast buffet. They have mini safari trucks and golf buggy style vehicles that take you up and down the steep driveway, although we walked it a few times for excersize. 2 great pools, restaurant and excellent service from all the staff. We walked to Phuket beach.. takes 20 min. They have shuttle buses regularly that tske you to Phuket Beach and the huge shopping mall which is totally amazing by the way with heaps of restaurants inside too. We totally recommend this Resort. Great service snd value for money.
My family and I stayed in this resort for 5 nights in April 2018. The one bedroom apartment which we got at first was very old and not fresh. After one night we changed that to just a room with sea view and smaller pool which was fresher. But the view worth it. The things that I like about this resort: helpful staff, good buffé breakfast and a private pool and jacuzzi for each room or apartment. The things that I do not like: not fresh apartment at the begining, mosquitoes and not on time pick up schedule from the city. The bus supposed to pick up us 10 minutes after 8 for example men every time had a 20 minutes delay.
I stay with Indochine in a Pool Villa with 2 Bedrooms for 2 nights. We’re so disappointed, especially my friends were so upset as they went for Honeymoon. We were sent to a terrible Pool Villa on the 1st night - All lighting in one of the bedroom and some lamps in the living room were not working (due to the complication of this “technical” issues, the fixing couldn’t be completed on that day and need to do it again on the next morning) - Doors couldn’t be closed properly, and sounds were ear-piercing - Private pool was smaller than we expected - Only 1 TV in living room, and it was blur - The toilet was clogged up and the lighting couldn’t goes in, even the staff come to fix couldn’t see if the toilet block solved or not. - The toilets smells were funny I can't believe that how could we pay a Villa price to stay in a room in such BAD conditions, it’s unacceptable and totally ruined our mood, especially the couple on Honeymoon. So, we requested to change the room immediately, but failed due to full occupancy; requested to downgrade if no Villa and refund the difference, but the staff said he couldn't make any decisions; requested to talk with Manager, but the Manager was missing; requested the Manager to contact us on the next morning but we never heard a Hi from him/she til now. Well, the Manager didn’t contact us on the next morning. So, WE, AS A GUEST, contact hotel proactively to follow up. Finally, we moved in a new room without any apologizes, explanations and compensations from Hotel. But luckily, the new room doesn't have all problems listed above except toilet smells and pool size. I’ll never go back again and will not recommend this hotel to any of my friends. If you are OK with dark, toilet smells, blur TV and hiding Manager, please give it a try, the views there are excellent.
The stay at Indochine was extremely relaxing and pleasant. The view from our Sky Suite was always something to look forward to at the start and end of each day. Room service was always quick and the food was delicious. All the staff were really pleasant and helpful. The only cons would be that the room is quite costly.
Stayed at the Sky Suites with Plunge Pools. The hotel has several types of rooms, but the newest one is the Sky Suites perched on top of the hill and if you have a choice do pick this room. Room was big to fit 3 people with a large double bed, optional 1 extra single bed. It also comes with a sofa. Highlight of the room is the terrace with dipping pool with jacuzzi which can fit several people. You have dip in the cool waters while enjoying a great view overlooking Patong Beach. Given that it is high on top, the hotel shuttle to the top is prompt and on time, so it is convenient despite the high levels of the room. Hotel staff is friendly and understands English well. The hotel also comes with a restaurant with a nice open air feel to it overlooking the sea. Breakfast spread was decent, but there are also ala carte options available for room service and for dine in. Located 100m from the hotel is a beach front bar owned by them. Pretty decent place with chilled vibes serving cheap beer and food. Convinence wise you also get a shuttle from Hotel to Jungceylon shopping center. With taxi fares in Phuket not cheap, this shuttle is a great option to explore the town. Overall a pleasant experience. Would think the hotel offers good value for money and is suitable for families. It is close to Patong but not too close hence suitable if you are looking for some serenity and peace.
Our trip started with a hitch due to our pre-arranged transport not being at the meeting area. After calling the hotel (thank God for roaming!), the situation was fixed immediately. We arrived earlier than check-in time so the front desk advised us to go for lunch first. We ate at the hotel's restaurants, and the food was really good. Service was good, too, very friendly and attentive. When we went back to the front desk, we waited around 20 mins to be shown to our room. We booked the ocean studio with outdoor jacuzzi, and we just totally went into instant vacation mode when we saw the room. It was clean and well-sized, a lot of room for a toddler to play in. Bed was comfy. But the selling point, of course, was the view. The terrace was built for chilling out, and the jacuzzi was just perfect for cooling off. Note that the shower is outdoors near the jacuzzi. The hotel provides a convenient hourly shuttle to Jungceylon Mall (around 15 mins travel) where you can find everything. We bought a lot of food (mangoes, fried rice, salads, and more mangoes!!!) at Big C Superkmarket and it was super cheap. The mall is also only a block away from the Patong Beach. Buffet breakfast was good, they had asian and western food. There are nice beachfront restos just in front of the hotel too in case you want that kind of vibe. It was pretty stressful to cross the road though. We tried walking from the hotel to Patong beach (we like walking around when we're on vacation) but halfway through we felt it was not safe anymore to walk with a toddler because there was no adequate/proper pedestrian walkway so we turned back. The hotel has two pools and a full gym too. There are a lot of areas in the hotel where you can just sit and relax and have a drink or two. We really enjoyed our stay and we'd love to go back.
