While it was our fifth time travelling to Patong, Phuket, it was our first time as a young family. Thus, we were looking for accommodation that offered lots of safe space for the kids to run around, specific activities catered towards children, far enough from the hustle and bustle of Patong, but close enough to venture out for some shopping and dining. Duangjitt R&S turned out to be perfect for our stay. The grounds of the hotel are like nothing else in the Patong region in that they are very spacious. Noting that we travelled in the more quiet time of the year, the three pools of the hotel gave us plenty of choice, as each had an adjoined kids pool. We stayed in a Grande Deluxe room, which was fantastic being close to the pool, breakfast area and reception. While the rooms do have a dated feeling to them, but they are well serviced and very comfortable. The Kids Club is a great facility, as it is a safe and fun place for the kids to have fun, although we didn't make use of the nanny facilities, as we were concerned by the limited english spoken. This for us was the only disappointing factor, as given a resort of this size and offering, one expected the staff dealing with guests should have a better ability to converse in english. If you are looking for a relaxing setting to get away from the noise and activity of Patong, without needing a tuk tuk to get back into it, Duangjitt R&S must definitely be considered.
The Gardens were beautiful, the hotel was lovely, room was clean but when it comes to money, everything is going to be changed. Squeezing money here !!! Just like to share with you that I just lost the room's key, the day after found it and returned it back, surprisingly they said u have to pay 40$ for that ! Unbelievable !!
The Gardens were beautiful, the hotel was lovely and clean, room was lovely and clean, friendly staff, good food (breakfast only) - swim up bar was a necessity! Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone, not far from the beach and Bangla Road was a 15 minute walk, but quiet enough to escape the bustle of the town.
Just like to share with you that I booked for 2 nights via CTrip later in May. I thought, looks like a nice place and reasonable prices. I booked this morning and 2 hours later I was called by CTrip China that my rates were only applicable for chinese!! What the ....? So they had to cancel this booking and I could make a new one and pay approx 25% more. Are you crazy and what kind of discrimination is this? I am not sure it's even legal Duangjitt Resort? Unbelievable and unacceptable! Huib Kraaijeveld from Holland, living in Bangkok
Here we are back at Duangjitt with concerns because of some unfavourable posts. Contrary to these negative comments from a group, we cannot see why they posted them Staff are still excellent, rooms are very clean and tidy, breakfast good and fresh with great variety. Calm and serene gardens and excellent cooled pools. Similarity of those poor comment suggest that they are all singing from the same hymn book Keep it up Duangjitt, still here and will be back Geoff & Marilyn
We were 5 nights here its full of mosquito but there is no any lamp or some thing in room for solving this problem. And we asked service room for some tools for opening the bottle of wine at final we didnt get nothing! There is so many control for eating break fast you have to cary a card for your self I agree with control but its over control it bother you! Break fast is normal there is nothing special in there like a 3star hotel. And you have to pay money for invite your friends. But sweeming pool is clean and very big the environment is clean and beautiful. Last word they have to consider about their costomers.
So pleased I chose this Resort as some never live up to the hype. Loved staying here - high class, clean peaceful, authentic, beautiful well maintained grounds, lovely kind generous staff . I had a honey facial and it was the most delicious facial I have ever had with a 40% discount if staying at the resort. The resort is well placed at the nicer end of Patong Beach and great restaurants, massages and supermarket right across from the front entrance. My husband and I had the most wonderful stay here and I thoroughly recommend this Resort and would stay here again if ever in Patong - we barely left the grounds as everything we wanted was here at the Resort
a fantastic hotel , with 3 pools 9dotted about beautiful landscaped gardens. the rooms are comfortable with large beds and the usual facilities (tea/coffee making facilities, TV, only a couple of English language channels, air-con and safe) all as you would expect. breakfast was excellent with a huge selection of choice from cereals, to pastries croissants and different types of bread. an egg station for your choice of eggs, fresh salad with cheese and selection of meats, fresh fruits plus a whole selection of Thai foods. the list goes on. we never ate an evening meal in the hotel, deciding to eat in town at different locations most nights. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone, be it couple, with friends and or as a family. there was 8 of us there (4 couples) for our 25th wedding anniversary and we had a fantastic time. generally spending the majority of our time together but also allowing ourselves time as couples as well. this hotel covers all bases. the staff are friendly and efficient and always willing to help.
We checked in as a group of families. The hotel property is large and good but the service is very bad. The receptionists / staffs are not friendly or cooperative. We had many instances while we were here! I won't recommend this to anyone! It would have been good if this hotel directors take serious note to train the staff to be customer friendly and to be courteous!!!
The place is lovely with amazing scenery and location. You really feel you are in Asia the moment you step in. Pool is awsome, very nice breakfast menu.again the location was perfect and the staff were very friendly
