What a delightful hotel / resort. Nicely situated on the beachfront but far to walk to JungCeylon and Bangla Road. Swimming pool closed early at night and that was not nice for us. We had various problems in our different rooms eg. Phone not working; water leaking from ceiling by bar fridge; light not working in bathroom. This did not keep us from having a SUPERB holiday. Robert(Manager) was always on hand and would attend to each person so very nicely. He is a very efficient manager. From the day we booked in till the day we left, He and his team made us feel very welcome. There was also a Thai lady singing every night and to our delight it was songs sung in our home language(AFRKIAANS), which impressed us. They did not mind us singing along and or dancing to our music. It was my daughter's birthday and they gave her a suprise by singing to her and gave her a cake !! We had a marvelous holiday and the weather was very good.
We really enjoyed our stay at Seaview Patong Hotel and will definitely go back. Fantastic staff and very friendly. They were always willing to help and make your stay even more enjoyable. Beautiful pools and great breakfast.
This is a really comfortable hotel to stay in. It's in a quiet area of Patong Beach with lovely views over the pool to the ocean. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfy! Can't fault the staff who are friendly and obliging. Would definitely come back again.
My rating is a very reluctant 3/5, because there are some really good things about this hotel. Unfortunately some of the not so good things bring this rating down. We arrived early, before 2pm, and the room was not ready, which is fine, as check in is from 2pm. We took a walk down the road for lunch, and when we came back, our room was ready. We were so excited because we had been allocated a pool access deluxe room. However this excitement was short lived when we took a swim that afternoon. It's easy enough to get into the pool, but virtually impossible to climb out at your room. No steps or ladder going back to rooms. So one has to get out at another exit, hop across a few other balconies to get to your room. So that is not very practical. The room is a nice sized room. There are some really good touches, and some not so good touches. The not so good: Lighting. With the dark decor and dark lampshades, the room is very dark at night, even with some of the LED lights on. Bed. As is the norm in Thailand, the bed is very firm. They use two single mattresses to make a king size bed. Unfortunately the converter is very thin, so you can feel the gap between the beds. The base is great for placing items such as phones next to your bed, but makes it difficult to get out of bed. If you happen to be the person who gets to sleep on the side closest to the wall, you cannot get out of bed excepting to slide out at the foot of the bed or role over your partner. The good: The bathroom is large, fitted in marble. The tub is huge and is big enough to fit 2 people very comfortably, and they are very generous with the toiletries. 2 Doors to the bathroom is also a nice touch. Utility space behind the bed. This is an area where you can make your coffee, find the bar fridge and mini bar, as well as the room safe. Its something different and unique. Breakfast. Decent selection, and if you want to move onto the veranda for a sea view while eating breakfast is also a good touch. Evening entertainment. Even though we did not eat at the restaurant for dinner, the singers performing had good voices the times we heard them as we passed by on our way out. The food and drinks at the restaurant seemed to be reasonably priced for a hotel. Location. Well located on the outskirts of Patong, and within easy walking distance to restaurants and bars. In spite of the not so good areas that I have mentioned the Seaview Patong is a good value for money hotel and is in a good location on the outskirts of Patong.
We stayed at Seaview again and what a nice welcome in our room!!! The staff is always friendly and helpful, the breakfast is nice the rooms are big and clean we had a sea and swimming pool view, awesome. Wifi is great we had no problems. We will definitely be BACK again.
We were lucky enough to stay in this hotel recently. The hotel manager Mr Wannarat Ninsan went out of his way to make us feel welcome and was to be found making his rounds at all times of the day and night. He always greeted my wife and I by name and ensured that our every need was met. All of the staff are very welcoming and greet you most politely every time they see you. We were in a standard room which was more than adequate. It had a nice big bed, bath and shower, a bar area with fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel is well away from the hustle and bustle of Bangla Road but it is an easy walk to get there if that is your desire. The pool is superb and very well maintained. We spent most of our time at the pool as the beach at this end of Patong is not the greatest. Our one complaint is the smell from the sewers in Patong. This is not something that the hotel can do anything about but sitting outside for breakfast in the morning could be a little challenging with the smell from the sewer. I'd suggest hiring a scooter for the duration of your stay. It gives you the freedom to do what you want and also means that the really superb swimming beach at Karon Beach is in easy reach. Scooters can be hired for as little as THB200 per day and they are really worth it. All in all this is a hotel that goes out of its way to look after you.
My husband and I were privileged to spend 6 days of our holiday in Phuket at the Seaview Patong Hotel. The accommodation was awesome, the staff were incredibly courteous and couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable. The morning breakfast ( which was inclusive ) was excellent. Very central to Phuket town. Highly recommend this Hotel.
The room was good, although the bed was a little hard for my likings but still comfortable. The location I thought was great away from the loud music and the hustle and bustle of Bangla road but still in walking distance to everything. It was only a fifteen minute walk to Bangla road or Jungceylon shopping. The staff were excellent especially Roberto he was always smiling and any request was not too much trouble for him. Roberto was very welcoming and attentive. The music band Farah & Jonathon were great, made the evenings listening to them fun and entertaining. They were great at what they performed and could perform with very near perfection. I would stay at this hotel again and recommend it to others.
all Staff are great, from Tikky on frount desk to the cleaner of the rooms,I will return again next year, On the Quiet part of Patong but not to far from all the actifitiesFood was great room are tidy and clean
We were there for 13 nights came home a few days ago. Strange layout-to entrance eventually worked out where the reception was, yes it needs some care and attention, but essentially you have a very good sized room and good balcony. Some real nice touches with fresh beach towels every day, a beach basket, greta dressing gowns and slippers. Breakfast was consistent and it was okay and whatever wasn't used in the buffet from previous night ended up at breakfast- just like having a heated up takeaway from the previous night. The staff tried there are some experienced staff and a number of trainees- who try their best. Difficult getting a drink on occasions at the bar the staff just seemed to wander off. Beer was 60 bhat on a special promotion and cocktails- which were really good about 160 bhats. Took me a while to get used to the hotel, the pool area is good and pool clean and warm. Didnt swim in the beach opposite- went to karon and kata beach - which were far superior and clean- bit pricey with local taxis, But you can hire a taxi for 800 bhats and take you to the beaches- fat buddah, phuket town- just do the deal. Would I use the hotel - yes definitely. Enjoy.
