The front desk staff did not eager to serve customers and she did no greeting or smiles to us. Which is a letdown. The place feels dusty and dark in general.
The room was comfortable and the pool pleasant. A few things looked a bit worn but still in good condition. It is about 10min by walk from the airport!

Excellent place to stay a night by the airport if you're arriving late/leaving early. The included breakfast was definitely a plus as it prepared us for the hour long ride to Patong.
very nice boutique hotel for the price... the view from the room was lacking... but you can't expect a nice view in the city anyways... the room was clean... the bed was one of the best ones we had in thailand... (we stayed in 4 different hotels)... only real complaint is that in the morning they do the laundry all over the first floor (which should be done where the customers can't see it... in my opinion)... but other than that... great hotel and nice cafe next door (but should take credit cards it was a bummer... we ran out of money and didnt want to exchange anymore because we were about to catch a flight... couldn't have our lattes)
Over all experience is great. Very kids friendly, my kids spent all a lot of time at the pool. The room design is very contemporary, some may think it is lack of privacy. I think it is Romantic with open concept bath tube.
