I'm not a frequently reviewer who's always comment or feedback to things/place we've been. But with this resort we couldn't help. Let's me start.. - Arrival Was totally perfect! The moment that you step in the resort you feel like you are belong here and don't want to leave! All the interior design, the staff friendliness and how warm welcome they are! Just amazing - Room Can't go wrong with the 6 stars standard. Nothing to complain and i think they gave us too much amenities in the room which somehow we can not use it all lol. (It's good tho, no complains) - Staff Staff are amazing!! You never feel strange here.. everybody knows you and the service are on the top. Staff went out there way to make sure our stay are the most important and most convenient. You can feel when people do the things that they do with passion and the club team are doing it with passion! Special thanks to my lovely lady Cherie who always have big smile and greeting us whenever we met. Kudos to her and the team! - Beach Is amazing. Kamala not like Patong or other beach. Loves the vibes here - Food We knew that the price will be high since they are the luxury one but the quality is up to the top too! Totally worth every money. I could say that Intercontinental Phuket has been our best memory already and we wish to be back soon with our family. Thank you so much for the service. Keep going! And will see you guys again soon!

We had a fantastic stay in a club room with huge Ocean view. It is brand new and luxury experience for our honeymoon. It located in Kamala beach, peaceful and clean. We’ve got pamper by club lounge staff they are incredible especially Cherie, she made us heart warm and feel welcomed. of cause yes, we definitely plan to be back here again.

Let me start first by explaining I have never done such an extensive review and photo capture before in any of my existing reviews. But our stay at the InterContinental was truly unforgettable and disserves appreciation. The InterContinental Phuket is a 5 star hotel delivers 6 star service and I would rate it 10/10! Over a decade I am an active member of the Tripadvisor community and an established Top contributor (level 6), part of the 1% most influenceable contributors on Tripadvisor. My contributions are objective, independent and unbiased. My reach on Google reviews is over 21 mln views to date. Be advised this review is my personal opinion, based on our personal experience during our stay at the InterContinental Phuket. We were the first family from the Netherlands, spending 10 nights in October 2019. As a seasoned and frequent traveler experienced in high-end hotels across North America, Caribbean, Europe and South-East Asia I can conclude as follows; From start-to-end the overall customer experience and every touch point in it are beyond expectations! "Start point" - during the initial contact with the InterContinental Phuket - as a SPIRE Elite member of IHG (highest tier) - I was recognized, welcomed and thanked by mister Courage (the General Manager) for my loyalty to IHG brand; "To start thank you for patronage as a valued IHG SPIRE Elite member, your loyal support is most appreciated". "End point" - and at the end of our stay, the InterContinental's impeccable (brand new) BMW limousine transfer service (with in-car San Pellegrino and Evian waters) to the airport including luggage check-in assistance by InterContinental's Airport hostess (I have never experienced such caring service after you already checked out from the hotel!). When we arrived back in Amsterdam, we received a very warm and personal "thank you" e-mail from the Club Lounge staff. We booked the Club InterContinental Ocean view including Club Lounge access (which also includes other additional VIP benefits and amenities). First of all the hotel is brand new, opened in July / Aug 2019. The hotel is situated at Kamala beach and located in the area where other high-end properties are also being developed. The InterContinental Phuket is a combination of a brand new (and high finishing) luxury estate, a high-end resort, yet not remotely located and direct access to a beautiful and natural beach. But let me be clear a real nice beach! The beachfront of the hotel has direct access to the (public) beach. The beach is clean and has daily high and low tide and is part of the Kamala bay. This is not a sort of artificial small hotel beach. It's rare in Thailand to have best of both worlds; a great beach and an exclusive luxury resort. For our arrival, I booked the BMW 5 transfer service offered by the hotel (2500 Bath one-way) in advance and I highly recommend. Normal taxi transfer would be about 1000 Bath one-way. The hotel is divided in Club InterContinental Ocean View ~ 45 rooms (direct access to the beach and beach side pool). The main building, and other ~ 180 rooms and poolvilla's do not have direct access to the beach. You can easily walk from the main building to the beach and the hotel offers club car transfers. The attention to detail and representation of the InterContinental brand is impressive. We first stayed at the Pool villa, which is designed like a high-end Maldives resort villa and includes a private pool. However, we preferred Ocean View and changed to an Ocean View Club suite on the first floor (only 10 meters away from the beach!!). There are very limited Ocean View suites available and I can assure you that suite nr 2109 is the best. You can have breakfast at the main restaurant, which serves the best coffee ever. Breakfast is good and the restaurant looks amazing. As part of the Club benefits you can also have breakfast in the Club Lounge, which includes an extensive and high quality made-to-order a-la-carte menu on top of a buffet. We also had two dinners at the Jaras. Jaras restaurant is truly one of the best restaurants on Phuket. As a New York / London vibe, service is outstanding and the food the the best I have had in Thailand so far. The Club Lounge is a great benefit. Complimentary cocktails are served and are better quality than I experienced in any other Lounges (e.g. Belvedere and Ketel One Vodka). During the day, Afternoon Tea is served with home made sweets and savories. The team of the Club made us feel the lounge was like a "living room" extension of our suite. As a family we like to give back to the local community. The concierge advised "The Phuket Sunshine Village". This foundation accommodates about ~ 60 orphan children that are in need. The hotel was kind enough to provide a complimentary transfer to the Village. One of the Club Lounge's staff members Mayom, offered us to assist us with doing the groceries on his day-off and also coordinated shopping requirements with the Foundation, so we were able to buy items in highest need. Finally, I would like thank Sea and her team (especially Mayom) for the warm and personal care provided in the Club Lounge. Air, the barista in the main restaurants provided us with "daily moments of happiness" with her fantastic cappuccino's (which can compete with hipster coffee bars in Amsterdam and London). And a huge compliment to the GM of the InterContinental as well. Of all InterContinental's I've stayed so far, our experience at the InterContinental Phuket was by far the best. The Ro There is no doubt that your team will create unforgettable experiences for other guests as well!

I had 4 nights stayed at Intercontinental Phuket which was opened about 1 month ago. 22-26 Oct, Club pool view room, 2204. Here's my rate; 1. Room - ★★★★★ Amazing modernized installation with Thai traditional design. Every decoration was beautiful and gorgeous, even just a table has Thai lotus symbol under the glass. Absolutely clean, spacious with comfy beds. You will fall a sleep in 3 sec after you lie down. Even it's pool view room, you can see ocean view laterally. We watch sunrise every morning with admiration. 2. Pools - ★★★★★ This oval framed beach pool was exceptional. Large extent with luxurious dark green tiles. It was crystal clear inside the pool. You can see they clean up the pool from 6 AM everyday. We had lunch at pool side bar, Found they got brazier for pizza. That Pizza with dehydrated pineapple was absolutely perfect. Please try it with Thai cold beer. Also Pool bar staffs are really friendly. 3. Food - ★★★★ Jaras restaurant has high-end quality. I have visted Thailand about 20 times and I'm pretty confident I tasted many Thai foods. This restaurant was beyond my expectation. Every menu has its distinct characteristic with great flavor. The staffs and chef was really welcoming us with smile. The only reason for 4 stars is little bit over priced. Pad Thai is the most common food for everyone in Thailand and Its price was 650++. We visit Pinto restaurant just for breakfast. They provides delicious foods with fresh ingredient. Wish they have Thai noodle section, not just congee everyday. All staffs at Pinto were also really kind and helpful for everything I need. Thank you Neeny for inform me attractions in Phuket town. 4. Club lounge - ★★★★★ They provides afternoon tea set, Cocktail time. Especially the fresh baked scones with clotted cream, It will melt in your mouth. I wish I could abduct him/her who baked this scone and make him to bake scones until I die. truly heavenly taste. And the staffs , they show us great hospitality with amazing courtesy. Josh, Make, Sugar, Ammer, Mayom, Female staff with beautiful smile ( My apology, Can't remember her name. she was smiley person. I saw her smile more than hundred times during my stay) All of them was well trained for satisfying guests. This Club lounge reminds me when I was infant. Well Actually I don't remember that day but It surely the same. They provide Aroi foods, We eat. They provide Beverage, We drink. There's no worry, They feed you until you can't get more. Keep yourself in mind make your stomach empty before visit Club lounge. Thank you so much for your kindness all. We didn't use facilities like Spa, Gym, Kids club, Main building area. So I can't rate them. But I can tell you one thing about them. " See one and you've seen them all " Every single one of them was truly hospitable at beach side building. I'm pretty sure all the staffs in mountain side too. On top of that, Khun Sea, Director of Guest Service cared for us. She politely welcomed us personally upon my arrival and resolved our concerns. She got also confidence and charisma. I believe She is the pillar of strengh of all team for guest services. You bring us to heaven. Thank you again Ms.Lapa. Overall - ★★★★★ Intercontinental is always seeking perfectness. This time they made masterpiece even it is in the soft opening period. We would come back soon for Intercontinental Phuket, for beautiful Kamala beach. Please Don't say you know everything about phuket before you visit here IC Phuket.

My partner and I just returned home from a weeks stay at the Intercontinental Phuket. We had a wonderful time and the week flew by.. The resort has 5 pools, a beautiful beach and grounds that are meticulous. Two restaurants with delicious food and service second to none. The staff will do everything in their power to make you feel welcomed and at home. If you have any request do not hesitate to contact any of the staff. Management is very visible and eager to help if you require them. I highly recommend this resort.

The hotel is still in its first month of opening and it’s a delight to enjoy the feel of crisp bed sheets, brand new rooms and an authentic positive vibe from all the staff. We have been here less than 24 hours and are already blown away by the resort. Not much has been written about the modern Thai restaurant, Jaras, so let me post some photos of their dishes. If you don’t mind things a little spicy, go with their suggestion of “authentic”. There’s a little kick but in a most refreshing way. A big thanks to Pla and her team for making us feel so welcome!

They are new and I could say that their standard are on the top! Me and my husband stayed 3 night here and we couldn't ask for more best service. The moment that we step in.. we really impressed by thai-modernness architecture (which you can easily have a new profile photo by this lol), the beach is clean and quite totally different from busy patong. Foods are great. The curry a little bit spicy but we loved it! I would like to propose a toast to manager Cherie and the club team! Thank you for amazing unforgettable memory. Totally worth every penny!

The InterContinental Phuket Resort is spectacular. Absolutely no expense was spared in creating a fabulously modern Thai experience. Our room was just a few steps from the beach, pool and Jaras Restaurant. The attention to detail in the room, lobby, restaurant and pool is incredible. They really thought of everything, and whatever you lack is only a phone call away. We stayed here the first month they opened, and we were blown away by the splendor. The restaurants provided some of the best meals & cocktails we had in our 2 weeks in Thailand. Thank you IHG for a fabulous experience!

Had a family holiday (3 adults & 2 kids) at ICH - Phuket recently, stayed 5 nights. Its brand new resort & construction is still going on in some parts, although it did not bother us in any way. Its a concept resort with a great vibe & aesthetics. Rooms were well furnished & clean. Minor house keeping issues at times but this was expected given recent start. 5 pools overall, 2 of them with attached bar really worth spending lot of time relaxing. It has a make shift spa, run very professionally. My therapist were Yok & Aob, they were both funtastic with great understanding of pressure points etc. A large formal spa is being built & seems would be ready in few months. Restaurants: Zara & a chinese restr, great food & brilliant service. Breakfast serve was humongous with best quality food. There are other great restaurants adjoining IC resort - cafe del mar & with Novotel. Kamala town shops are a short 5 min drive, where plenty of bars & local restaurants are serving thai food. Service: All staff was very pleasant, attentive & helpful. Club house manager Cherrie & reception staff Rachid were of great assistance & ensured guests were well looked after. Its Situated on clean & calm Kamala Beech, away from bustling Patong. About 15-20 min drive. Best to rent a car as taxis/grab in phuket getting expensive. Overall we had a great stay, a very relaxing & pleasant break. Looking forward to our return sometime next year. Highly recommended, no doubt SB

Spent Three nights in a club room ocean view October2019 ,, booked a classic room and get upgraded to a club ocean view room (as a royal spire member with ihg )which was a nice huge room with fantastic ocean and pool view,, the club lounge staff did they best to make sure that everything even the small details are going smoothly and comfortable during our stay .. huge hotel with two main Buldings with two main swimming pools connected by a tunnels under the street ( club cars to move around ) and there is a part of hotel still under final construction but it didn’t effect our stay.. Kamala Beach is a calm and nice side of Phuket.. It takes 20 minutes to Patong.. Overall it was comfortable stay thanks to the nice staff .. posting some photos with the review..
