Centara Krabi is a beautiful resort. We really enjoyed our short stay there. The ride to get to the resort and the view are breath-taking. It definitely has a resort feel with lots of amenities. We did go in March 202 and the resort was busy but not packed which made it more enjoyable. The food selection was great and had many restaurants to pick from for lunch and dinner. The resort was not all inclusive, it did offer a buffet breakfast/lunch which would last us for most of the day and then we would go get dinner. One of the nights we went to Thai buffet and watched a beautiful show put on by the staff at the resort while we ate. It was about $40 per person and it included one alcoholic drink.

We did not get the room we had booked for . The staff was not accommodating and did not provide a good service . They promised a better room next day which did not get ready until after 4 pm and we never got that room . The room was not cleaned initially and we requested the housekeeping to come clean the room after multiple follow ups the housekeeping showed up after 2 hours . We lost our valuable time just following up with hotel staff . It was a very disappointing experience and will never stay in future at a centara grand property

Excellent view, location, and amenities but the service was subpar for such a resort. Very unfortunate.

It was a great hotel in the middle of the national forest. Will definitely stay there again!

The best part of this resort is the view when you drive up in the boat. For the most part it’s all downhill from there. The reception is rude...which is very unlike our experience at every other place we stayed. As we waited for our room in the lobby it started to rain outside and we found ourselves with rainwater poring through the roof over our heads. The same thing happened the next morning at breakfast. I literally had water dripping on my head as well as half a dozen other places in dining area. Sone of the staff in the restaurant and beach were also rude. It was strange. They seemed put out and angry most of the time. Therefore, many of the guest seemed to adopt their foul moods. We tried to get away from the resort whenever possible. The room was really and the spa was wonderful. If you go there during rain season...there is NOTHING TO DO on property. We had to walk about 400 up and over the cliff to a town to find things to do. Krsbi is such a magnificent place...i’d find another resort to stay at.

only problem is, it is secluded. however, hotel is extremely great and town is only a 10min easy hike to aonang. hotel was gorgeous and staff was super nice.

This is a beautiful hotel set on a picturesque beach. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the grounds are well maintained. Food is a bit expensive for Thailand average, but resorts usually are. The check in was disappointing as we got there before 3 pm and they sat us in an empty restaurant for over an hour not saying why and just left us there. Becareful with leaving anything outside your rooms or your door open bc the monkeys WILL get to it. The fitness center was nice but the instructor led activities were subpar. All in all good experience and worth the money. 7.5 out of 10.

This was the best resort we've ever stayed in. Really great location, private beach and tons of fun stuff to do onsite. Upon arrival the boat only access was a surprise, but it turned out to be super fun.

The rooms are lovely, clean and a great value for the money. Their customer service is lacking. They were unhelpful in answering questions both before we arrived and once we got there. The restaurants were ok but expensive. The ferry service was inefficient and the airport transfer was poor.

Awesome pools (2), right by private beach (better than some nearby beaches we visited on islands). This was my belated honeymoon trip and 4 nights was perfect. We mostly relaxed in our rooms and pools and had one private island tour during the stay and that was enough to experience this area!

Hotel is completely isolated. Very difficult to get to, but worth it when you get there. However, that also lends itself to the fact that you will be eating many meals at the resort - which means you will 1) be spending much more money than you would traditionally pay in Thailand for comparable food and drink (roughly $3 US for a can of soda at the resort, etc) and you may get FOOD POISONING. I got very severe food poisoning on my last day at the resort after eating my previous three meals there. As I looked through other reviews I saw many other people report that they had food poisoning from the resort as well. They clearly have some problems with food preparation!!! Prior to getting food poisoning, my wife and I were saying we would recommend this hotel to anyone - can't say we can do that now.

This is a beautiful hotel that is on the beach but completely surrounded by cliffs. There are only 2 ways to get to the hotel: by boat or the monkey trail. There is no car access. If the ocean is choppy or if there is a storm the resorts cancels the boat transfer service to and from the resort. This leaves only one way to get to the resort - the monkey trail. This is basically a bunch of makeshift planks which helps you climb up the mountain that separtes the resort from the town, Ao Nang. It is treacherous to say the least and definitley not safe. It is however true to its name. There are monkeys all around the trail and the resort for that matter. The monkey trail is steep and the planks not all that sturdy. You definitely have to have a sense of adventure to stay at this resort. My wife and i are young (early to mid 30s) and in good shape and climbing up and down the monkey trail was still a challenge. The resort is beautful and has all the amenities one would expect of a 5 star hotel. However, restaurants and things to do reside in town which makes the commute to from the resort a focal point. Overall its a nice hotel in a stunning location hotel but they really need to figure out access to the hotel. That is why i have an average rating for the location of the hotel. If it were not for the access issue this would be a 5 on the location grade scale.
